Ehm, what does this have to do with this thread topic? o.O

I hate the fact that the media has twisted the image of 'perfection' for both women and men. Your average person doesn't look even remotely like the people depicted in magazines. We should accept that and go for the personality of people instead of looks, because hey, NO ONE is perfect. Even those glamorous celebrities have their bad days. talk2hand

Personally, I only have a few requirements for guys' appearances (meaning what makes a guy attractive to me physically):
1. Long hair, doesn't matter what colour.
2. Has to be taller than me, and that's easy since I'm only 165cm/5'5''
3. Not too 'big' or 'muscular', because I'm so small and skinny, I'm afraid of guys like that.

That's about all look-wise I'd like from a guy. Other features include the same taste in music (metal preferrably) and maybe love in anime/manga/movies etc. =)

I don't think I have too tough requirements, and yet I can't seem to find anyone D:

I think that the majority of people agree on what sexy is or we wouldn't see so much of certain guys. I happen to find a lot of the underdog type of guys hot. You know, the ones only considered average and not of the "sex god" standing. I happen to think that Hugh Jackman is the sexiest celebrity out there but all of my friends favor Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp. Some are even throw backs who love Brad Pit.
I like Hugh Jackman because in interviews he's always laughing. Not in that "I'm so flattered that you realize that I am God" sort of way or in that really fake "I actually think you're an idiot" way but a real all out laugh that has him looking less than perfect for the cameras. He's engaging and fun. He makes sure that he and the interviewer both have fun with the topics.
I think that that's a lot sexier than some brooding hottie with no personality or sense of humor. I mean who wants to go to bed with some one who's more focused on looking good spread out on the sheets than making sure you both enjoy yourselves?
So I guess that physical has a lot to do with it (I am shallow enough to have stopped liking Brendan Frasier when he put on weight) but it has to have some thing to do with personality as well. Otherwise I'd still like Nick Carter.

It only seems like I have a lot, cuz I'm being kinda specific. xD

My preferences are:

Long hair, has to be dark (not into blondies or redheads at all. o.o), but it can be short, it usually depends.
Facial hair is great, as long as it suits them. I like beards (not including moustaches, but they're nice as well. ^^) best.
I love when the guy is shorter than me (I can't help it, it's adorable! whee ), but he can be taller then me, as long is it's only by a little bit.
I'm not much into dark or tan skin. I like when their skin is light, but the can by lightly tan. ^^
I like when they have dark eyes (blue can be an acception when they're pretty <3).
I like when they have really nice hands, slender and such. *coughhandfetishcough*
I like when they have an average build, but I also like when they're slender (not scrawny; slender).
It's best when they dress in dark clothes and have the same taste in music as me (metal, classic rock).
I like it when they have a lot of the same tastes I have.
Must like animals. <3
Can't do drugs, or drink. (If they drink, it can only be occasional.)

Of course, I believe it's almost impossible to find this kind of guy with a great personallity I want.. ]: Oh, well. Everyone wants so much in a person. A lot of people don't tend to carry more than one good trait (i.e. good looks with a good personality). I don't care about looks. That quote that states beauty is in the eye of the beholder is true. <3

Everyone has a different definition of perfect and sexy. Unfortunately Hollywood and the media is empressing one of anorexia. I appreciate staying in shape because I'm a health nazi. But I do not wish to see protruding bones nor a body so frail that it would turn to dust in my arms. I hate that girls think they have to be skinny. In shape yes. Not eating anything to be hot is well...just not hot.

For me "perfect" is unattainable. "Perfect" is non-exsistent. "Perfect" would be someone who has a sense of style, watches what they eat, great humor and personality, and a good sex drive. "Perfect" can also turn to boring. Nobody out there is perfect. Nor am I. The media is evil so I ignore them. I care to have abs be not to attract people. I like having abs because it makes me feel healthy that there's not fat on my tummy but muscle.

People do go to the extremes and even those who take the time to complain about it will likely be guilty of the same thing if not already. Oneday you'll care so much about what other people think you'll find youself doing everything while keeping in mind what someone will think of you. It happens.

While we acknowledges this disease of the media, is see no cure in sight but the acknowledgement that there needs to be one found. It's dumb for teens to stunt their growth over appearance.

I never liked the sort of guys everyone else thinks are sooo hot.
I find most models to be terribly unattractive, and I've never been a fan of the "muscular, manly face, with shortish black hair" kind of guy very attractive, and I keep seeing these sort of guys being worshipped as "true beauty"...
There's no true beauty, nor there are men that EVERYONE finds themselves attracted to.

I have realised since I was really young that I like guys that mostly nobody else likes, or at least men that are not what others would consider handsome.
I know this might sound strange, but I beleive sexiness has a real lot to do with a man's face, mostly with his facial expression - for me, this is one of the most important factors as to whether I find a man sexy or not.
And then there's the hair, which I like mostly long or totally shaved...
As of body, I like thin guys, but they don't have to be very thin, mostly kind of frail looking, I guess.
