Juna blinked, completely thrown off by the question. A full blush quickly spread across her face, and the careful balance she had achieved while sitting in her chair wobbled, as did she. Catching herself quickly, she smiled. "Oh, um, I've never been in a relationship with a woman, but I don't suppose it would be too bad." She cleared her throat quickly.

"Men? Oh, um... they're interesting. Yes, interesting creatures." An uneasy smile made its way to her lips. "S-someone who's a challenge, a little bit foreboding I suppose, but, um... um, someone who wouldn't mind me or anything..." Her voice trailed off. Uh-oh. She shut her mouth quickly before anything else dignity-shattering popped out. What a wonderful way to get started. She looked down, blushing at her skirt, whacking herself over and over again in her head. No, no, no! Achieve coolness! Utter coolness!

"Then again, why should I tell you?" Juna folded her arms, narrowing her eyes rather coldly at her roommate. This was a pivotal moment. It all depended on what Yuki did.

Yuki giggled at her roommates response, answering in a secretive tone. "Oh yes, men are interesting, but women are so much more aluring." Smiling to herself as she replied, Rin blinked as she was suddenly confronted with an indignant sounding question. She pondered her answer for a moment, before half shrugging, picking up and twirling the pen in her fingers.

"Why? Honestly, I've no reason for you to tell me anything; it all depends on what you wish to share. I only thought that we may as well get to know eachother a bit, since you're going to be tolerating me for the next nine and a half months." Yukiirin said softly, a light blush spreading across her cheeks once more. "I didn't mean to pry...I was just curious, that's all..." She trailed off, glancing up with a nervous smile. 'Damnit...I think she's mad...'

((Eep! Skevoosh, sorry about the name...))

"...and those are the rules. Your grandmother has told me a lot about you, young lady, and I expect quite a bit." The prim, grey-haired lady before her raised an eyebrow. Rin nodded politely and gave a little smile. She raised a hand to tuck her black locks neatly behind her ear, from where they had slipped. The headmistress of Seiseikatsu High stood up, showing the meeting had come to an end. Rin gathered her bag and stood to leave. Just as she reached the door, she heard the wiry, stern voice.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. We have a problem with the dorms presently, so your room isn't ready. Your belongings will be kept here, in my office. The problem should be resolved soon. If it is not, then you will spend the night there." A wrinkled hand pointed to the couch in the corner of the office. Rin glanced at it, and nodded again. A man came in the door with her luggage and placed it by the couch, then left.

"Feel free to explore the school, but remember, we have strict rules against..." Rin closed the door on the word, and stepped out into the hallway. Faint sounds of orientation activities and other students echoed past her, and felt no inclination to participate. The school was quite a small place, but she would have a look around. Maybe, she could find a quiet spot to do some reading before night fell.

Rin walked down the hallway quickly and descended the stairs to the ground floor. Leaving the building, she found herself in the courtyard. Now, where to go next?

Juna took a deep, slow breath. After a long while, she spoke. "I suppose you're right. We will be living with each other. I... um... I apologize, I think." Juna was looking away. She hated apologizing. She hated being wrong. Another slow, deep breath. "Sorry." So far, Juna felt awkward. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to put on a cheery face. It was getting much more complicated than planned, after all. A lot of acting involved. That wasn't good. Maybe she just needed to get out. Maybe, what if, somehow, why...

"So... um... what do you like to write?" A hopeful subject in the land of awkward conversations. Not too smoothly pulled off, but good enough. Besides, her damaged ego was beginning to heal. Sooner or later she would get to know this person, and every little thing wouldn't be judged, but for now, this was it. Of course, she could have just been overanalyzing. She put a strand of hair behind her ear. "And have you happened to have seen anyone else around here? I'm wondering who will be here and who won't. Do you suppose we should meet some others?"

Blinking at her appology, Yuki smiled kindly, shaking her head and speaking quietly. "There's no reason to appologize, really. It's said that I'm a bit overly-sensative; at least, that's what was said at my old school..." She trailed off, reminiscing for a moment before her smile returned upon Juna's inquiry.

"I write a lot of things...Ranging from my own thoughts, to anger, to love, to eroticism..." A heavier blush spread to her cheeks as she mentioned the latter, being far more open that she usually was around new people. 'She is quite pretty...And rather mysterious...' she mused to herself, eyes shimmering slightly in thought. "And I only met one other girl; Erin, I think it was...She was who I was standing with on the stairwell when you passed us. Other than her, I've not seen anyone...How about you?"

Yuuki took Alex's hand and smiled chamingly. "Name's Yuuki," he answered, standing up and bowing slightly. "I'll be your roommate from now on, and before you ask, yes, I'm male," he said as he plopped down on the bed. He bounced slightly, sticking his tongue out and smiling while he scratched his head. Hehehe, it's kinda embarrassing to say that out loud... he thought as he chuckled awkwardly. "Anyways, please take care of me from now on!" he said as he began to unpack the sack that contained his possessions.

"Dorm 3...” Muttered Hime, as she looked up at the girls dorm building. Okay, so there was something wrong with the room and now she's expected to sleep somewhere else? This was definitely not a good start and it annoyed her. Turning her back on the building she would look at her remaining surroundings. Immediately she let out a sigh running her fingers through her hair. Only the first hour in the compound and already boredom is kicking in. It wasn’t an entirely big compound, but she guessed it wouldn’t do any harm to walk around and explore for herself. So she set of the path way walking towards the back of the girls’ dorm building. There was more trees and greenery, it was a perfect spot for her to kick back and relax. She dumped her knapsack under a big shady tree before sitting down leaning her back against the bark of the tree.

Selfish grandparents… hypocrites. All of them! Okay… some how I got to make more money… Yesterday was a good catch, five hundred bucks. Though its clearly not enough…

She let her thoughts run as she enjoyed the silence and hues of blue.

((Skevoosh: Oh... OK. Bye.))

Aaron waved at the girl as she left, and then slowly made his way to the end of the hall he'd started down. Suddenly, the school PA system crackled to life. Would Erin Greenlow please come to the office. You have a visitor. Aaron cringed, knowing who it was. "Not him, please not him, anyone but him..." He slowly went down the stairs to the office, and came face to face with the one person he didn't want to see.

"Hello again, my pretty." Sir smirked, forcing Aaron to sit down with only a wave of the hand. "Hmm. As skittish as ever, eh, Aaron?" A sly grin slowly made it's way across the man's face.

Aaron gulped, cringing in his seat slightly. "Wh-what do you want from me, Sir?"

"I just want to give you a few final words before I depart." He sat beside the young boy, his arm snaking around Aaron's shoulders and holding him close, much to the boy's chagrin. "Now, I want you to do well at this school, Aaron - your mother would have wanted it. And if you don't do well, your poor father will be crushed..." Slowly he leaned in to whisper in Aaron's ear. "Literally." He grinned, and then kissed Aaron on the cheek. "Bye, Aaron. Be a good 'girl' while I'm gone." And with that he left, leaving Aaron a shaky mess of tears.

Alex raised an eyebrow at Yuuki. "Take care of you? And why would you need me to do that? You're a man, at least that's what you just told me, correct?" Alex said. He's going to be a fun roomie to have. Alex thought. Alot more interesting than the one from last year.

Alex picked up the large suitcase from the end of his bed, unzipping it and putting his stuff away. "Aw! Damn..." Alex groaned, as he turned slightly, looking to Yuuki. "Forgot my guitar... again." he explained, before turning back to the task of unpacking his things. How in hell can I forgget something like that?

Hime took a short glance at her watch; it was time to go check on her room. Apparently it would be ready at this time. It better be… She brushed of some dirt of her jeans and picked up her knap sack. Holding it with one hand she would use her other hand to dig into her pocket finding a crumpled piece of paper with the room number, floor, and small directional map. Slowly she made her way upstairs and through passage ways. Finally, she reached where the directions had taken here. She stood there in front of a wooden door that had a number plate with the number 3 carved on a metal piece that was stuck to the door.

“Dormmates… ‘nuff said…” She thought to herself. She never liked the idea of living with other stranger.

Rin had been walking around the compound for a while, watching the different students interact. Now, she was settled by the side of the main building, hidden in the shadows. On her lap was an open notebook, filled with an hour's worth of mindless doodling. The heat was bothering her a little, and all she wanted to do was get to her dorm room; she wasn't interested in sleeping or spending any time in that frigid headmistress' room.

She yawned and stretched, then gathered up her belongings. Maybe now the room was ready; she would go up to the headmistress' room and check. The P.A. system garbled a message as she entered the main building. Just as she was reaching the staircase, she saw a mean-looking man walk out of the reception office. Curious, she peeked in, and saw a girl with long, golden-brown hair sobbing. Not one to pry into others' affairs, she quickly left, feeling awkward as she ascended the staircase.

At the headmistress' room, she saw a white notepaper stuck to the door, and her belongings underneath it. Stepping closer, she pulled it off the door and read. "Miss d'Angelique, your room is ready. You are in Dorm room 3, with Miss Caliber. All your luggage has been removed from my room. Your Headmistress."

Rin sighed, and arranged her luggage to move it over to the dorms. Thankfully, she hadn't brought much with her, and the dorms weren't too far...

She hoped her roommate would be somebody nice.

It wasn’t that bad a room, in fact it she had lived in worst conditions still. Of course the place needed some cleaning up to do. But other than that, it was spacious enough for two, had enough light, and was airy and not dark and gloomy. Not bad at all. She opened the sliding windows and stood there leaning forward placing both hands on the frame of the window.

Now all that’s left is to survive this place…

Holding her bag with one hand, she used the other to unzip the front pockets. Rummaging through her bag she took out a cigarette and a lighter. Though that single cigarette looked sad indeed as it had been left in that front pocket and did not quite look like a straight stick anymore, it was slightly bent here and there. Lighting her cigarette she took a delightful inhale before exhaling. Her eyes were peeled on her outside surroundings making sure no one was actually around. Quickly she finished the stick as soon as she could and flicked it far from the building area, out of sight.

Now that wasn’t too bad.

Rin had just finished getting her luggage into the dorm corridor when she smelt a faint hint of cigarette smoke drifting around. Scowling, she glanced at the doors, looking for room 3 and hoping that whoever the smoker was, it wasn't her roommate.

Wishful thinking..., she thought. As the numbers neared "3", the smell of the smoke got a little stronger. She cursed her sensitive nose as she pulled up outside her room. The door was already open, and a girl with dark hair had her back to her. She was quite obviously the smoker, and a dangerous aura emanated from her. Better get off to a good start while she could.

Rin mock-coughed, and knocked on the wooden door, under the number "3". "Hello, I'm your roommate, Rin d'Angelique. Nice to meet you..." She extended a hand and smiled as brightly as she could at the silent back.

Hime turned around to face a girl who was supposedly her room mate. She never really trusted first impressions, but she couldn’t help but raise a brow at this girl standing before her. Not trusting her own self to speak she mustered a half smile, her back now facing the window half leaning on it for support while her hands slipped into the pocket of her jeans. Her eyes stared at the outstretched hand not budging an inch from where she stood. Her lips parted to speak, and then closed, then thinking again she spoke…

“Hand shakes are overrated…” She said in the soft monotone less voice. Then quickly she added “… My name’s Hime Calibur.”

Dropping her hand, Rin kept her smile in place. "Fine by me. I like your name, by the way. Hime is very pretty." She was a little taken aback by the other girl's cool demeanour, but was comforted at the same time. At least she wasn't bubbly and loud- silence and taciturnity she could deal with.

She swept into the room, noting which side Hime had deposited her belongings. She placed her luggage on the other side of the room and sat down on the bed, looking around. The room was very utilitarian and minimal, quite unlike the luxury she was used to, but it would do. She could be simple if she wanted to. She arranged her white skirt a little and glanced at the open window behind Hime. "It's an alright view, isn't it? And the room is quite spacious."
