*pops in*
Hmm... holidays... I'd like one that's in a way similar to Halloween or something where we can dress up and frighten others.
By the way, could someone look at my application? I'm fine with my character teaching any subject. It just depends on how you guys want the classes run.

There isn't much coordination neccesary... on Monday everyone wakes up, gets dressed, yadda yadda, and start heading to class. Tues-Thurs of the first week of school is a certain subject, let's say Math. Although it takes up 5 in-game days- and is counted as such- the characters will only roleplay it as the first day (like in the movies, where they sometimes skip a couple of days from the movie but the characters know what happened during that passage of time). On Friday you leave class, and Fri-Sun goes by at a regular pace. Maybe an example will help? sweatdrop For Example... Larisha wakes up on IRL/IC Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday IRL are all a part of Monday IC, so you won't have to roleplay Larisha for IC Tues-Thurs. One schoolweek IRL is one day of class IC, but for the characters they will know that they have traveled to class each day when they're finally dismissed on Friday. However, during the time period of class they will feel that they're still on their first day of class within the week. Next week, the same schedule goes by but it will be a different class (since the classes rotate each week). Wait, I've got a better idea: a graphic. Hold on a sec and I'll make it.

I have a feeling that despite presnting this schedule that people will still become confused during the roleplay.

Hm... well, I can't think of much else... sweatdrop
Unless we freestyle it. Thing is, then we'll have to do the same routine over and over each day. And having a different class each day might be a little... wierd.
We can try. 3nodding

Well... I dunno.
When D comes back I can discuss it with her, but otherwise I can't really do much. xp
I'll just be the entertainment... like on the Titanic. I'll keep going even if our ship sinks. And I'll do it good.

Amazingly. Considering my brain's dead.

Exactly, you guys! You have to either get drunk, high, or hit yourself on the head a bunch of times, and then read it. It'll make so much more sense! xd
And about that graphic... it won't really help much if you don't get it in the first place. It might just make you more confused.
So, D, do you think we could do it, or should we just freestyle it?
And thank you for rooming me with Kat. We'll have so much fun together! xd

monotori67 Well... then one real school-week can just be one long class in-game. It makes sense to me. Monday is morning, Tues-Thurs will be class, and Friday will be when they are released, depending on when the teacher dismisses them. However, the students will see it as 5 days' worth of class, even though a discussion from Tuesday will fluently be carried to Wednesday's class, as if they never went back to sleep. That way, you don't have to constantly move your character every single day. Plus, it will keep the timeline a bit parallel to ours, though in-game holidays should be at a different time than real holidays because we sometimes have plans for that particular day (EX: Christmas. Instead of Present Day being on 25, it could be on 15 or something). If you seriously don't think it'll work, though, I'll drop it. Scythe de Zaran is here! mrgreen Keep in mind, though, it's an AU of Earth, and it's really an AU of London, if you want to get picky.

Well, then, we could just make holidays extra-long so people can participate in activities without rushing themselves.
Like we did in UoA.
By the way, I'm having some problems with the KP. Carice is annoyed as well. >_<

Hmmm... how long is extra long?
Thanks for approving my app. Just wondering....is there a preference for what subject my character teaches?

Umm, question? Where do we start? In the main forum or just in the living quarters?

Lise Illumincroix Umm, question? Where do we start? In the main forum or just in the living quarters? Living quarters. I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible.
