Nephthys Assyria "But, then again, that probably isn't my place. I am Mercutio, and this little creature is Benvolio. And yes, before you even say it, we are named after the ones in the play. Do you have a name as well, or shall I be made to call you the stew-maker?" Or perhaps, he added to himself, the holder of memories better forgotten?"My name is Aaron Greenlow," The blonde mentioned, seemingly not phased by Mercutio's sarcastic words. "You may only call me stew-maker if you wish to." He chuckled softly. "I've lived in the village for many years, and I love talking to people... but many of them are not interested in talking to me." When Mercutio entered his home, he closed the door and went to the kitchen to chop up the tomatoes and put them in the stew that was cooking as they spoke. "Many of them find my powers quite... absurd, shall we say. Some even think that I kill people with my powers, even though I don't - my powers are healing powers." As he finished chopping up the last tomato, he cut his finger. Aaron cursed under his breath, and bandaged up his finger quickly before finishing the tomato-cutting. He quickly put them in the stew, and then sat down at the table. "But I can't heal myself. That's the only flaw in my powers." He looked at his newly-bandaged finger. "Well, this is my humble - VERY humble abode." Aaron nodded at his guest. "I hope you'll forgive me for it being so plain - I haven't really had a chance to make it look nice at all." The walls were merely wooden slats, and the floor was made of stone. The furniture was decently comfortable, though, and was a pleasing shade of blue. The roof was well-constructed, at least. It was a very small house - it had only 4 rooms; the kitchen, the main room that they were in, the bathroom, and a bedroom. "I'm glad I have this, at least... I haven't had a roof over my head for a long, long time."

Mercutio scanned the home with a bored disinterest, but he couldn't bring himself to make any complaints. This little hhome was obviously all it's owner needed, and it was more than he and Benvolio could lay claim to, living above a small shop where he sold the trinkets Benvolio had the habit of picking up on their walks.
"You're one of them, then? The mutated ones who are constantly getting the village attacked? I can see why you'd want to escape here, then." He nodded shortly, "Though I certainly can't imagine why someone would find the power to heal absurd or frightening. It sounds impossibly valuable to me." Mercutio eyed the bandaged finger, "Although, then again, misunderstandings are bound to arise when you cannot even fix yourself."
Benvolio twittered in agreement, attempting to nod his little feathered head and suceeding in poking himself in the chest. Mercutio shook his head slightly. Sometimes I have to question your intelligence, benvolio. I really do. A tiny pinprick of blood stained the snowy feathers on the bird's chest and it chirped agian, eyeing the blond accross the table from them. Or, maybe not.
Mercutio lifted a finger up the Benvolio's head and flicked the little bird soundly. "Honestly." Mercutio looked back to the blond again. "You don't think you could fix this, do you?" The albino hated admitting it, but he had an unusual fascination with mutants, and between this and his natural paranoia of new people and the fear they might be lying scum, Benvolio's rather pitiful excuse for an injury was a perfect ploy. His fethered friend knew him far to well.

[[Definitely out of it today... @.@]]
Gabriel smiled pleasantly, aparently enjoying the teen's cheekyness. "If I'm not worth the effort, you should be able to finish me quickly, no?" His smile turned into one of mockery. "And once again, take care who you call 'boy'...This 'boy' has been alive since before you were born...Many years before, I might add. Lets see how a child like you has learned how to use that toy you carry."
"Don't underestimate me, love...It would be a horrible mistake on your part." Knowing already how she didn't like to be degraded, he continued. "Would you like to make the first move? I'm sure it would give you somewhat of an advantage...You'll need every on you can get." he remarked dryly.

"Actually, your theory is incorrect. Though you certainly are a waste of my time, I could very well prolong your defeat. Whether or not I could win against you so quickly has yet to be determined. I'm confident, but no fool." The leather-clad woman did believe that she could take him on with relative ease, but had long since learned that when in an actual battle, it was always more efficient to assume otherwise. Still, there was no need for him know the workings of her mind and, though she hadn't intended to put forth any extreme measures on protecting her mind form any prying, made it a point to allow only what she wished be known show.
A mirthless laugh was the result of his words, stormy eyes flashing with unreadable emotion, a clash between spite and recognition. "I beg to differ. You appear older than me, but I sense no evidence of the proper maturity that would go along with it. If you do happen to be of a more superior age, then I'm sure you've realized that that'd mean absolutely nothing in this case. I am no child, as I'm positive you'll realize soon enough. However, I wouldn't let the fact I'm also not an adult let your judgment fail." Moving her weapon from its current position, Messiah's composure shifted into that of both expectation and a deadly calm. Messiah smirked slyly at him, seeming unaffected by his insults despite the minor hints that it had triggered something within her mind. "Attack first, darling. I dare you."

Still with the quaint smile upon his face, Gabriel laughed aloud. "My my, you are a feisty one. Well, enough talk. Prove to me you're worthy of even carrying that weapon." he said coldly, smile fading to an icey straight face. His dead blue eyes glinted with a hint of crimson as he moved his double naginata with inhuman speed.
In less time than it took to blink, one of the blades of his weapon swung down at her head, the other following behind moments later in a quick flurry, aiming for her stomach. He smiled, his movements quick and fluid, streaming in flawlessly accurate and deadly strikes.

"I need not prove anything to someone like you." Unbothered by his tremendous speed, Messiah reacted immediately. As soon as she had drifted into the state of mind for confrontation, she had silently prepared herself to think as if she were fighting the fastest, strongest, and most skillful opponent that ever lived.
The teenager's own blade clashed against the one which was coming down towards her head, while the long staff blocked the blow to her stomach. One hand held the naginata at the staff, holding where the blade had hit firmly in order to prevent any breaking or slashing through. Her other hand was pressed against the curved blade, applying a decent level of strength there as if she intended to push him back.
Dropping down so that she was just out of reach to both of his weapons at the moment, Messiah swept the staff towards his ankles in an attempt to trip him, while rotating the weapon so that the blade aimed to slash through his neck. Her actions were done in a precise manner, senses heightened and aware as she felt out his aura. Thoughts trailed just slightly to her earlier observations, reminding herself of what his weaknesses could possibly be.

((Hmmm...I shall be Scout #2 scream , who chose himself to do the task and see where the best vantige point would be before the war actually started. I keep changing the color of my posts...~Now in Deep Ocean Blue!~ XD))
"Heh, heh...Smile! You're in my scope!" Avio whispered under his breath whilst looking through the scope on his new weapon. It was a simple made rifle with just enough power in it to make a bullet travel out of the barrell and be semi-accurate. It would have been much easier for him if it were a high-powered sniper rifle, but he knew that those types of weapons were supposed to only be used by the trained marksmen of the camp.
The person in his view looked to be a young gentleman that had the looks of being age sixteen to nineteen. Avio couldn't really tell, but he could infer only that about him. The boy's hair was a sort of blonde that almost looked bleached when the sun refracted from it and it was kept neatly into a ponytail, though it was rather long. The thing that was truly odd about this person to Avio was his eyes. They seemed to have more life inside of the icy-blue mirrors and an actual spirit to boot.
"This would be so easy if I weren't on recon," Avio thought to himself as he lowered his weapon off of his shoulder and onto the ground. He kept low by the palms so as to not be seen, even though he was 'chemelion-ed' into the surrounding underbrush. "This seems a viable place to hide out for a while when this war actually starts," Avio began to think to himself, relaxing a bit and letting his nerves release. This made him un-chemelion, but he could still remain hidden by the underbrush.

Gabriel's facial expression never changed from it's calm appearance, even as she ducked under his blade and attempted to trip him with her staff while simultaneously slashing at his throat with the bladed end. As she ducked, his hand twitched to the side, bringing the staff of his weapon up to block the blade as his feet left the ground. As he jumped, he threw her blade hard off of his staff, trying to make her lose balance as he spun his own weapon, coming down hard with the blade aimed at the nape of her neck. As he struck, he brought the inverse end sweeping from below, once again aiming for her gut.
As he struck, he probed at her mind fiercly, trying to disctact her from the fight for the breif moment. He kept up his onslaught of her mind with his, devling to find her deepest secrets, willing her to distract from the fight to block away her mind.

Messiah moved back quickly, avoiding the strike to her neck. The second blow, on the other hand, met its mark just barely. Unable to dodge the blow completely, the blade slashed across her stomach, a stream of blood trickling from the slim cut. Not even a glance was given to the injury, however, and Messiah seemed rather unhindered by it.
The prying into her thought was getting on her nerves a bit, truth be told. She could have kept up both the mental and physical battle, but she was quite sure that in this situation, more attention should be kept on staying alive. The vampire's scheme of distracting her failed and she suddenly allowed her mind to be completely open. The amount of secrets, thoughts, and plans would have probably been extremely overwhelming to many, her mind having always been a rather complicated thing- Far too complex, perhaps, to belong to a mere sixteen year old girl.
Lithe form darted swiftly forward, her blade coming down at his shoulder in what, if not dodged, could be a potentially fierce strike. Needless to say, she was rather determined to spill his blood.

Foreward momentum carrying him to the ground in a kneeling position, Gabriel's mind was suddenly full of thoughts not his own. He blinked, hesitating for a moment, before putting up his own barriers, looking up slightly too late to see the blade of her naginata swinging downwards at his shoulder.
Instead of attempting to dodge the strike, he grit his teeth, pushing off towards her with a ferral growl. At such close range, he couldn't get his double naginata up fast enough to damage her. Instead, he threw out his right arm, slashing at her neck with claws that should have just been nails. As he did so, however, her blade struck his shoulder, digging in to the bone. He snarled, tensing his body to absorb the shock.
As soon as the blade struck, however, Gabriel's left hand flew to the shaft, holding it firmly into his shoulder. He smiled maliciously, pivoting on his left foot and extending his right leg in a feirce kick, aiming for her ribs with his heavy combat boots.

A smirk lingered on her lips when she felt his withdrawal from her mind, the rush of her thoughts having apparently caused him to be the one place his barriers up. Messiah's free hand shot up just as his claws tried to make contact with her neck. The sharp talons ripped though her wrist instead, leaving minimal damage.
She was quite satisfied that her blade had caused some damage, though she knew that she'd need more than just one hit to win the brawl. Gleaming blue eyes narrowed with suspicion when he held the naginata in place, her body stiffening at his next movements. There was no way she could doge the kick, nor block it without causing serious damage to her arms- Damage that she couldn't afford.
Messiah winced in pain when the kick landed, a small crack signaling the breaking of one of her ribs, the air nearly forced out of her. Her integrity would not allow her to even gasp at the impact's effect, her composure remaining strong and proud. Messiah gently gripped at where her opponent had kicked, applying a bit of pressure to relieve that paint though she wasted no time in retaliating. Grabbing onto his ankle, Messiah ran forward despite their lack of distance, attempting to make him fall backward.

~Celia was not know by any of the other in the forest for she had kept herself hidden, and hidden well. For the past few month Celia had made a hollow tree trunk home. She decided that wasn't what she could do anymore so she finaly came out.Once she was out she wasn't sure what to do.She wandered around for a bit but did not make it apparent that she had any powers.Nor did she make it known that she was a vampire. Once out in the open she was not sure of what to think of the others. She spoke to noone because she didn't know if she could trust them. Her blood red eyes glared through the darkness of the forest. She walked around the forest not seeing many people but a few. When she did see people she payed no attention to them. After walking for an hour or two she bacame tired. She continued walking until she saw a tree that had fallen over.Celia sat on part of the tree that was a couple feet off the ground. When she sat on the tree her feet dangled down and she was unable to reach the ground.Once she was rested she jumped down off of the tree and walked to where is was higher of the ground.Once she reached a spot where it was high enough she could lean against it she did so.She wasn't quite sure of what she planned on doing next.~

Gabriel smirked, feeling his kick connect firmly, the satisfaction of her ribs cracking making his eyes light up. Catching him off guard, though, his leg got pushed back. He lost his balance slightly, pivoting on one foot as he growled.
Thinking quickly, he brought up his left hand down from holding her naginata, having had to clamp on with the hand he held his own in. Dragging the naginata around to slam it into the side of her head, he twisted his hand quickly. It was still too long to let the blade connect, but the staff would reach it's mark. It wasn't exactly the most graceful fight so far, but survival came first, and the girl wasn't exactly an amateur.
[[Yeah, I totally forgot about holding the naginata, and then grabbing your weapon with my left and clawing with the right...<<;; Trying to make up for my stupiditiy. x.x]]

~Celia sighed slightly as she continued leaning against a fallen tree. She looked around until she had her eyes fixated on a fight. This fight didn't seem as though it was between amatures. After a bit she became unintrested and looked away.Becoming tired of standing she started walking around again.~ ((I might make it longer later but for now I have nothing to write.))
