WolfGirlTanaka Yumi_Kirei It's because ShounenAi/Yaoi is in the Shoujo Genre, and since Shoujo is for girl, ShounenAi/Yaoi was made for some girls. That's why we are here. Actually, Shoujo is for guys as well as girls. But yeah...Umm...I agree that it would be unfair to ban women from guilds like this. I get what your saying, that it can really get on your nerves, but its not as if yaoi pertains to gay men. Like someone said before (sorry I can't remember your name) Yaoi/ShounenAi are genres. Just like Yuri and ShoujoAi. And the men that join those guilds would raise complaints for being banned just because of their sex. No its not. Shoujo means girls manga. Hence why we also have shounen which means boys manga. Yes boys read shoujo but its originally for girls.

The only kind of girl I have a problem with seeing in a Shounen-ai/Yaoi guild are those really annoying fan-girl types. Otherwise, meh, I don't really care.

I guess it's just the same with how some guys like girl on girl. Some girls like guy on guy. There are some lesbien guilds with guys. 3nodding

Love is love. Whether for style, genre, sexuality, or whatnot. Besides, that's why we're all here, right? The fine line between MAN and WOMAN had to be crossed. All of us here have either crossed that line, or support those who cross that line. Yaoi/Yuri is the expression of talented people that IT IS OKAY. No gender flaming, please. And fangirls, they're just a bit hyper.

i think if the girls want to see yaoi,
go to a yaoi FAN guild.
im not trying to be mean.
ive been looking for a new seme.
and i just-so-happened to notice that there were more girls than guys.
its no problem with me,
it just REALLY gets on my nerves.
Please discuss. Yaoi does not mean gay. A Yaoi Guild just for boys would be The Gay Guild. Yaoi is a romanticized fandom FOR GIRLS. Guys' are welcome to it of course, but it is mostly directed at woman viewers.

Sephiroths samurai girl Going by your thinking, shouldn't it be that this guild be for women only? Boys' Love is a genre for women by women. This guild is about Boys' Love, not specifically a singles gay bar. If you're looing for a boyfriend then fine but this isn't a gay men meet guild. If you didn't read the first page, it says this is a guild for fans of yaoi and BL. Not a place specifically for homosexual men to meet up. The fact that there is more girls in this guild than men is because yaoi and BL is aimed at women. If you wanted a guild for gay manga, why not go make a Gei-comi guild which is actual gay manga for gay men. If you wanted a guild for homosexual men then make one. Well Put.

Why do boys watch lesbian porn? Why do people ask stupid questions? Why don't people learn things about something that interests them before diving in and showing how ignorant they are? Because, as has been pointed out, yaoi is a women's genre. For women, by women. The fact that there's boys here is just a side benefit of the hot male eye candy that women draw for each other. Name one male yaoi mangaka. Besides, as was also pointed out, this is in no way shape or form a hookup guild. If you want gay guys, join an actual gay guild. Or better yet, get a life! A real one. You know the kind where you go outside and talk to people with your mouth and hang out and stuff. Yeah, that kind of life. But if you're just gonna sit around here waiting for Twu Internet Luv! Might as well hop over to Wikipedia and look up yaoi. P.S. The guild creator and all but one mod is female.
