Even with all the blood shed and loses it is still needed. As hard as all these things are it's life's natural cycle. Honestly from what I see most people don't relize what they have sometimes until it is gone. That can go for human lives, freedom, senses, and material. This is being among other things of course.
If humans did solve everything with peace I still believe the world wouldn't be anything near what everyone seems to imagine. No matter how humans have this flaw it is there. Violence, it's always there. What becomes of it the death is once more a cycle. It brings pain, confusion, and anger among many others as well though.

Wow, I really was rambling through all of that.

its all because of people that want to prove to other people that they're tough and cool and the best way to do that is to kill.

All animals have predators and methods of keeping their numbers in check. Humans are animals. We don't have any predators, so we have to do it ourselves.

The difference is that we have evolved these brains that allow us to feel guilt, compassion, love, etc. We learn morals that have nothing to do with nature, and so we are horrified by what we do to each other.

I'm not saying that makes it right, or acceptable, for us to kill each other; I'm just giving a reason.

yeah, death is a part of life and as cold as this sounds the only good side to war I can see is keeping our population in check. it's not a perfect world, that's just a fact. at least, by our standards. but by natures standards it is a perfect world. it's the cycle of birth and death that keeps things going.. that keeps life possible.

Here's my opinion on this. Feel free to dismantle it and say I'm crazy. It seems logical and such the like to me.
As humans, as animals, we try to protect what gives us what we need. It could be simply food or transportation, perhaps pleasurable experiences, whatever.

Whatever-his-name-was who ordered the destruction of the Trade Centers angered the States because the States thought they were secure. It threatened them, the States thought they were going to have a wave of deadly bombings and so forth. They retaliated, thinking that they could elminate the threat, as a primitive animal takes out what threatens it's young.

War and Death are only a means of 'protecting' what we want and need. What we desire for our lives. It makes us greedy and as we try to take what we want, we step on other's toes and wars begin over whatever. Guns and war-weapons make it easier to 'protect', by killing off the threat.

Anyway, in summary, as humans we are greedy. We care for what makes us happy, and want to elminate what takes away that pleasure.

it is because the human species as a whole is stupid, overly-confident, cowardly, and imposing. you can't stop people form fighting, and you can't avoid the consequences of violence.

s**t happens. no seriously now all wars and stuff are either caused by religion
resources or basic threats from other country's rule out these and war would become less reoccurring and why can't leaders of all country's learn from their own and others mistakes

I believe that war can be justified sometimes because it is protecting you family or you country or both. Would everybody be able to just get along(Its simple but you know what I mean) then there would be no war and killing. However that is rendered impossible by humans sin nature there is no other possible outcome but to protect what is valuable to you.

I think all the killing is partially for EXTREMELY selfish reasons.
Without it, what would they complain about? They would sit there trying to find something to call a crisis, but there would be nothing.

Personally, I think all the killing is just a pacifier...
