I have yet to receive old people hate comments, but I guess being almost 21 itsn't that old on Gaia...
I enjoy my time here, especially when I get the young people who always ask questions. I like to teach people what I know, it gives me a sense of puropse here on Gaia.

My sister ~Queen Ismaire~ bugged me to join. I stand most of the Guilds or Forums she is on because of the Net speak. I am glad I found Guilds where people can actually spell and complete sentences.

I've obviously been very lucky so far! My main issue with the young 'uns is that they make me feel old! None of them have done anything awful to me....

I get it every once in a while, it's been more often lately than before. The fact that I'm old enough to be a father to most of the people here really doesn't help....

I didn't feel old when I started, but now everytime someone asks how old I am and I return the question I wish I had plead the 5th.
Everyone seems to be 14 or 15 and I'm 21. Blah!
It sucks.
I was 18 when I started Gaia and it feels like Gaia is getting younger while I'm getting older.

I only feel too old when other Gaians start whining about their middle/high school drama. At which point it's hard not to tell them to just shut up and tell them what life beyond PE and lunch break is like. Other than that, I feel right at home. Power to my video game and cartoon homies. ^_~ /.

A good friend of mine had been trying to get me on for over a year, and shes got me by 2.

I don't often mention my age in conversation, but most of my kids' friends here on Gaia know I'm here and it doesn't much matter to them. They still like to talk to me. Some end up coming to me with their troubles instead of their parents...I'm collecting a cyber family of kids! lol
Anyway, I'm 39, darned near to 40 and I like it here. It's fun! xd
