Dropping lifelessly outside of the ring, Ares would sluggishly scrounge around for something to grab and pull himself up somewhat. His head still in the game but his body didn't like the two suplexes he had ate.

the champion steps out of the ring after Ares as he's starting to get up. Lykos attempts to act quickly and simply fling Ares against the barricade spine first, perhaps wanting to deal some payback for that shot with the chain he'd eaten, or maybe it was just convenient

Most would think he had suffered enough, but Lykos was not one of those people as he lifted and dropped Ares spine first on to the barricade, as Ares would flop back to ringside, bridging upward to relieve the pain flowing through his back.

Perhaps Lykos has finally gotten into the hardcore spirit, as he reaches down to pull Ares up in a bear hug, not to make him submit, but to drop him again spine first on the apron

Ares began to get ragdolled, getting lifted and thrown back into the hardest part of the ring as he would drop to the padded floor immediately after impact.

Lykos pushes his hair back from his eyes after dropping Ares again. Still, he has to get him in the ring to win, so he reaches down again and this time aims to roll him back into the squared circle

Ares once more was lifted to his feet, bracing for whatever Lykos had next. He instead would get tossed inside the ring. Rolling to the center of the ring, Ares continued to try and fight, even though any movement he made right now could be felt through all of his body like a wave of electricity.

Lykos slides back into the ring after the challenger, rising to his feet again. Time to see if he can put the challenger down for the count, as he aims to catch Ares by the throat, then lift and plant him with a chokeslam

Ares would get to his feet and instantly get greeted with a hand around his neck, letting out a gurgling noise from the amount of force behind the grab, he felt he could barely move. As he began to get lifted, Ares could only think of one way to get out of this predicament. Reaching his hand down, he looked to dig his fingers into the eyes of the Dark Wolf. Pushing them as far back as he could do try and relinquish the hold.

Lykos thought he had things well in hand, but unfortunately for him he instead gets his eyes nearly gouged out and forced to release Ares as his hand immediately goes to his eyes, vision heavily obscured

A bit of the Chicago style for Lykos with that move. That definitely didn't earn any fans, and the next thing he had planned wouldn't either, taking a step back, Ares aimed a punt style kick aimed between the legs of the Champion!

Lykos is still mostly blind, which renders him unable to see what's next. He certainly feels it though, as the low blow drops the champion to his knees while the crowd certainly isn't pleased. Lykos won't be either, when he can see and think straight again

Lykos dropped to his knees after the nasty eye rake and low blow combo. He knew he was in danger if he didn't end it here, but luckily as Lykos was, the positioning was perfect. Slapping himself, Ares would push through the pain in his body, looking to hit the ropes behind the Dark Wolf, and come back for a Warriors Knee (Shining Wizard) to the back of Lykos head!

unfortunately for Lykos, he's prone and unable to spot anything coming in. So the Warrior's knee clocks him and knocks him face first to the mat

A nasty knee, and Ares looked to take full advantage of it. Pushing Lykos back and shoulders into the mat for the cover!
