The referee reached the count of eight as Cartwright struck the barricade, not that anyone would hear with how excited the audience was at seeing "The Boss" bite the guardrail! Rushing after, Salem sought to leap over to ringside and enter the ring before rolling out, unwilling to end this match on a count-out!

Cartwright nurses his back while on his knees, resting against the barricade as Salem saves the match from the referee's count.
The Boss gradually hops over the barricade as Salem rolls out of the ring.

The referee had stopped counting, but that was simply a means to an end for "Showtime" as he rolled back out of the ring and noticed Cartwright coming over the barricade! Grabbing his arm, Salem tried to sling Carty towards the timekeeper's area, trying to wipe him out in the collection of chairs in that vicinity!

Salem keeps the pressure on The Boss, launching him towards three set-up chairs, that collapse upon the impact of meeting Cartwright!

The crowd lit up as Cartwright collided with the steel, tumbling into a trio of chairs as the referee started the count up once again! "Showtime" stayed on the hunt, however - approaching Cartwright and looking to grab the "British b*****d" up by his hair and drag him towards the announce table! "These two are taking no prisoners, showing no mercy! No quarter given or taken!"
"They're coming over here, J.R.! Someone, please help 'The Boss'!"

Salem grabs a handful of hair as he brings Cartwright up to his feet, antagonising The Boss enough to try and fight back with a rake to the eyes to halt Salem's momentum!

Salem was trying to slam Carty's face into the announce table, but was cut off by the fiend going for Croft's eyes, drawing boos from the audience! Stumbling, "Showtime" clutched his face and tried to rub the vision back into his eyes!

Cartwright looks frustrated that Salem has been all over him and has some more anger to unleash.
The Boss looks to get a hold of the temporarily blinded Salem, so that he can lift him up and drop him on to the outside floor with a suplex!

Salem was too busy trying to clear his vision to notice Cartwright's intent, feeling himself lifted and swung right over the barricade backwards! Landing hard on the back of his head, "Shoetime" writhed in pain as the audience's frustration grew more audible!

Cartwright heard a satisfying thud as Salem hit the ground, earning a smirk on The Boss' face.
Cartwright looks to roll Salem back in to the ring and follow him under the bottom rope, stalking him for a Cartwright Crash Burning Hammer!

"No! Not like this! "Showtime" is out on his feet and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it!"
"Hahaha! Lookit, J.R.! Salem's fought so long to get this match, and now Carty's gonna finish it!"Salem knew he was back in the ring, but the only ring he could focus on right now was the one in his ears after that vicious Suplex from "The Boss"! Staggering to his feet, Salem was unaware of Cartwright's impending ambush, lifted up into his destructive Cartwright Crash! But as Salem was flipping over, "Showtime" acted on pure instinct and reflex and tried to catch Cart by the neck for his own finisher, the C.O.D. Cutter!

Cartwright thought that he had this match in the bag, but Salem isn't down and out yet, as he is about to grab The Boss' neck.
But Cartwright still has access to the use of his arms and he uses them to try and push Salem away!

Salem tried to hit his finisher, but Cartwright was crafty enough to slip out and shove Salem into the ropes, rebounding towards "The Boss" with the recoil!

Cartwright watches as Salem rebounds off of the ropes and begins to return towards him.
The Boss is prepared and is ready to strike Salem with a Croft-like Superkick to the face!

Salem was only just getting his bearings when Cartwright added insult to injury - hitting Croft with one of his own signature moves! Snapping back down to the mat, Salem held his face and slowly went limp near the middle of the ring!
