I agree with mainly everything that's been said, yeah...
But something else that annoys me is drooling, or the 'slurp' sound effect. EWEWEW. gonk Enough said on that subject, I believe.
And I like it when guys act like, y'know, guys. Crossdressing can be amusing sometimes, but if the guy does it purposely to look cute or something... that's weird. D: And if the boy's like, psychologically gender-confused, that's okay. 'cause my friend and I have two characters like that and we love them. X3;; Does that make me a hypocrite? >o;
I admit female-character bashing gets on my nerves on occasion, but I did it myself. ..; I've pretty much stopped now, but when I wanted a guy to get with another guy and he starts dating a girl, I admit I'll get sorta dissapointed. xd ;;
I'm not sure if there's anything else so i'll leave off here... o 3o

The only things that i can think about have already been said. I just can't stand the female character bashing in yaoi fanfics where the female character's personality is suddenly transformed into that of a complete b*tch. Sometimes its funny and most of the time, its not. I just think its best to keep to all the character's personalities, unless its some sort of humor fanfic.
I can't stand rape period and i really can't stand it if there is no emotional trauma happening right after the rape. It just comes off as if the rape never happened.

2. The story having no plot drives me up a wall.
3. forced sex
4. Bad fanfics. I enjoy stories that are well written, and are not writen with chat speak or other stuff.
5. I also don't like when its a really unbalaned relationship. those allways make me feel uncomfortable

1: Sex scenes with either no preperation at all, stretching but no lube, or lube but no stretching.
2: Rape fics of any kind, espeacially when the victim falls in love with the rapist. Usually at least. I have only one exception with yaoi or slash featuring demons or aliens: heat. Maybe the person themself doesn't really want it but their body demands it, then, usually their best friend or at least someone they know, comes along, notices the situation, and decides to help out. In every story like that that I've read the uke falls head over heels in love with the seme, but you have to admit it did start out as non-con. That's my way of thinking at least. sweatdrop Then again I quit reading the story all together if it contains pet peeve 1.
Uh, I think that's it.

Five things I hate in yaoi, in no particular order...
1. I don't like it when characters are taken out of their personalities or writer's create the perfect character.
Especially if it's to make a guy more uke or a girl a b***h, or an original characters that can do no wrong and everyone wants to have sex with. If you're doing this go write your own story, I mean that's basically what you're doing.
2. I'm disgusted when it's full blown rape and it seems like the sex brainwashes the other person into thinking it's love or everyone forgets about it.
I do think this happens, where a person becomes numb and loses touch that it's rape anymore. But that is a very twisted and painful idea to me that is not appealing at all. I am ok with a character that's saying no to sex if it's not a sincere no and they do want it, that's a "I shouldn't, but I want to" way of saying no. It's also different if it's a story thing, they don't fall in love, it's an experience the character overcomes. But then I don't want it described or really shown, at least not glorified.
3. I hate it when kids get involved.
I don't want to see two little boys going at it. I don't want to see some older guy with a young boy. I don't even like it when one guy is maybe 18-20 but the other guy looks 45. I don't know why I'm ok with older teenagers (16+) with guys in their twenties. I don't think about age as much as appearance I guess.
4. I'm very annoyed with story screw ups or a lack of plot.
Story screw ups to me include no leads or hints into the genre of the story if it's something special (fantasy, sci-fi, etc) until something over the top happens, and extreme lack of proofreading (people taking off their "sweety" shirts a couple of times xd ). Lack of plot speaks for itself. I prefer more build up to relationships and more than the relationship going on.
5. I hate, hate, hate, and have yet to see anyone mention, body morphing.
I do not want to see a beautiful/handsome, tall character morphed into an almost child-like uke or an enlarged, overly muscular seme. I prefer my pairings pretty equal and sort of lean. They don't have to be buff to be seme and they don't have to be petite to be uke. It's ok if you like it that way, but leave characters in their original forms (I do understand that an artist may have a style that unintentionally changes a characters form).

xp Smex that is unrealistic or obviously unsafe. The first time I saw the use of a condom in a yaoi was in Yellow volume 3.

i guess mine would have to be the really Girly ukes and very handsome semes, (Im a Dumb, Perverted Seme and my Girlfriend is an Angry random Uke xDDD so weird eh? ) and i guess in Yuri the girls grow a manhood o_x wtfplz, and thats about it
