Nuke felt almost dazed by that hit, as his vision went white. He turned slowly onto his front and almost into child's pose, as he looked around the ring.
Gruk was arguing with the ref, which was giving him a chance to rest.
Nuke looked over at his partner Lance and.. no, he didn't want to tag him in.
Fusion rolled towards his corner and rolled to both knees, breathing in heavily.

Gruk just wasn't paying attention to Nuke at all as he rolled away, instead fixated on the ref.
His team were shouting at him, but the Barbarian really didn't want to listen to anyone at all!

Nuke looked back at Lance, then turned his head towards Gruk.
He got ready in a sprinter's pose, eyes locked on his target..
As soon as Gruk turned around, Fusion was going to aim for a signature Spear!

Gruk ended up pushing the ref, who gave him an initial warning.
His team shouted over at him to leave the referee alone and concentrate on the match. Begrudgingly he listened to them, and turned to grab his opponent..
And was caught hard with a devastating Spear!

Nuke hit the Spear and landed on top of Gruk, immediately going for a pin!

That was much closer than anyone expected, as Gruk kicked out shortly before three count!

Nuke rolled over with an exasperated look on his face, he knew he had almost snatched that win.
Getting slowly to his feet, he then bolted upwards and ran at the ropes, aiming a Lionsault onto Gruk.

Gruk had been caught with the Spear, but immediately had looked over as Nuke ran at the ropes.
Gruk rolled to the side as the Lionsault came in, leaving Fusion nothing but mat.

Nuke was halfway in the air when he realised that Gruk had moved..
He torqued his body some more, landing on his feet. Turning towards his opponent...

Gruk had reached over and tagged in one of his partners, as he watched Nuke turn in the air.
He immediately rushed over for a hard clothesline!

Nuke lands on his feet and swivels on his heel, ducking underneath with expert timing as the clothesline came in.
He runs towards the far ropes, looking to come back with a dropkick!

Gruk turns to watch Nuke come back at him, and.. the dropkick connects!
But the big man keeps on his feet, stumbling backwards a little into the ropes.

Nuke wasn't going to relent there, he had Gruk exactly where he wanted him. Running at him, he attempted to knock him out of the ring with a clothesline!

The clothesline connected with force, sending Gruk rolling backwards over the top rope.
He landed with a bump on the ring apron, rolling and ending up on the outside mats!

For that particular moment, Nuke celebrated like he had won the match. He leaned against the ropes before stepping back, putting a fist in the air to a small cheer from sections of the crowd.
