 The water was cold, and when he looked at the waterfall all that consumed his thoughts was cooling off. Somehow, that desire was enough to propel him all the way to the top. When he did so he just stood there, eyes wide and body drenched. How in the four did he do that? And why hadn't Starry been there to see it? She'd never believe him!

She got tired of getting that sensation of being lost. So she took a near by stone with and edge and carved stars I to the trunks, hoping to mark the trail she took. She sighed and looked up at the firey leaves and hoped Dipper was doing ok. She was crazy to think she could do this alone.

The strange pony seems to recoil in... is that fear? Or distrust? After a few moments of staring almost uncomfortably at Marmalade's wings, the pony cautiously takes their hooves and allows themselves to be helped to the ground. Despite the cover of trees it's very obvious the pony is sweating heavily and needs attention. "Thanks for the help... I don't remember how I got up there but.. it's so hot!"
Do you help them here or get them to the healers back at the beach?

"Get me out of here!! Somepony! Anypony!" The scream fills the air again as you round a corner on the path and spot a pony trapped in brambles with vines wrapped tight about their form. It appears as though they fell through the vines and into the brambles, well that's quite the predicament.
"YOU! Help me out of these awful things!" They beg and you realize it's more terror than anger that has them screaming.

Curse it all if these rocks aren't the slipperiest things that you've ever encountered before! This time, more carefully, you work on ascending to the top of the rocks.
Roll 1d4.
1-2. You slip and slide on your way up, mud slicks most of your body now but it's only really your pride that's taken any damage. Still, you're at the top! But what's that noise?
3-4. Undeterred by any setbacks, you rally your strength and make it to the top with the power of determination! But suddenly a rustling to your right catches your attention, distracting you from your victory.
Things are getting darker and darker the further you wind into the forest, quickly you glance behind you and see a series of stars carved behind you, like guiding lights leading back. A screech rings out behind you and with a quiver of fright you turn your head back but see nothing.
Roll 1d4.
1-2. Shaken by the screech you whip around and head back the way you came, surely someone there will help you and there are strength in numbers! Right?!
3-4. You stamp both your hooves down in the dirt, steel your resolve, and set out to figure out the origin of that terrifying screech. Something must be ahead and it's probably just a bird!

An curious squawk rings through the air and a pony that looks to be as gray and dark as the shadows around them steps forward, sides heaving. "Oh I'm so glad there's someone else here, it's so eerie in this forest."
This pony looks as though they could fall over at any minute, do you try and take them back to the healers or help them where you are?

tab The rocks seemed to get even slicker with each one he fought his way across and the heat was borderline unbearable, even for a summer aligned bat like himself. Sanka lifted a hoof to swipe his arm across his brow. He grunted and looked back over his shoulder. There was still a ways to go and it just seemed to keep going.
tab With a surge of sudden strength, the bat forced his way across the rocks. His muscles ached and his chest heaved with the effort it had taken to maneuver in such an awkward place, but thank the four he was done with it! He wanted to laugh and revel in his victory but all he could do was lean against a tree and try to gather himself again.
tab A rustle caught his attention, making him freeze for a moment as he narrowed his eyes to squint into foliage. "Hello? Is someone there?"

Mona was starting to regret taking this path. She didnt think it was going to be so hard and dirty. She finally made it to the top and was breathing hard. She wanted to collapse right there and never get back up but them she heard a noise. She hear flickered to the noise and her heart started to race. " Who is there?" She said as she slowly kept over to the noise. Ashe she was slowly walking over there she was thinking of thousands of scenarios that could happen. She swelled some spit and said "WHO IS THERE?" But this time she said louder with more bass in her voice.

 ㅤㅤㅤThe second Marmalade grasped the stranger's hooves, he felt just how warm they were compared to him- Which was saying a lot, considering Marmalade himself was panting from the heat. He definitely had to get them cooled down somehow.
ㅤㅤㅤPeering around, he surveyed his options. It was awful hot, but there was no way he could take care of this pony on his own. Nopony else seemed to be around. The two of them would just have to head back to the beach together... After they cool down a bit, at least.
ㅤㅤㅤ"You're practically burning up," the green stallion remarked. He shifted on his hooves and pulled a bottle of water out from his saddlebag, offering it to the pony in front of him. "Here- you can drink this. I'm Marmalade, by the way."

Well, finally. Nox shook himself off, getting dirt and dust outta his fur. The three tails shaking themselves to get rid of the dust and small rocks they collected on the trek up. Once he was finished with that, the large male looked around. "Where shall we go next...?"
He tilted his head to the left, then the right. "Hmmmm. Whose there, we wonder?"

Bleak blinked a few times in surprise as he happened upon a pony in the brambles with vines tangled all over them. He quickly rushed over to try and help them get out of their current predicament. The brambles hurt but he was sure the poor pony stuck in middle of them was more hurt than he was on the edge of them. His long tongue grabbed onto a vine and started tugging.

Dipper shook water off of himself, groaning inwardly. Even with the charm, the heat was unbearable. How bad would it be if he didn't have one? It was then he heard a squawk. Dipper jumped, snapping around to see...
Well, it looked like a pony. Was it? He squinted, approaching the tired pony. They must be one of the lost ones. He examined them, reaching into his bag for water. He doubted the pony would last long if he went right back to the healers. It'd be a trek, especially seeing as he just went up a waterfall (still he was shocked at that).
"Here, I have water and a spare charm if you're weak to the heat," He extended the water, wrapping a necklace around it. "Drink this, it should help. You can come with me or head down the hill beside the waterfall. There's a group of us offering aid just down that trail."

The mysterious pony, now feeling just a bit more trusting from what you can tell, takes the bottle and drains the entire thing, trying to fan themselves with it once empty. "I remember such... burning heat and it was just so bright. They shift to a spot deep in the shade at the base of the tree and sit.
"Thank you.. for saving me, Marmalade." They open their mouth as if to return the name and their brow furrows a bit. "How did we get here?"
