“I got caught up in the storm on my way to Atlantica,” Marina explained. “The current was too powerful and I hit my head. Next thing I know, I woke up on the beach and Brandon was there. He used this amulet to turn my tail into legs.”
She listened as Linda explained hygiene. She just nodded like she understood.
“Taken a liking to me?” Marina asked as she stepped out of the tub. She was wrapped up in a towel and she leaned against the counter. “Marriageable age? What does that mean? Why didn’t he find a Queen? Did he lose her?”

 LindaMarina, he didn't lose anyone during the celebration. Its just that none of the guests he found interesting. And you must be referring to the Kyrandian Amulet that he wears around his neck. As for Marriageable age, Its common here in Kyrandia to settle on a partner after Age 15. Now that you've been rinsed off and dried off, Marina. Its time for you to have some new clothes to wear so that Brandon will be quite impressed with you. Follow me to the Royal closet, its next to the bathroom. I'll take your measurements and see that you have something to wear. After draining the bathtub, Linda then took Marina into the next room which was filled with clothing then closed the door after she went in with Marina so that the 2 women with have some privacy.

“Oh,” Marina felt a little silly as she about him losing someone. She followed Linda into the other room. She wasn’t sure what was going on, but she was sure she wasn’t going to like it. She looked at all the different dresses and clothing. She had seen similar garments in old shipwrecks at the bottom of the sea. Was she expecting to wear these things now?
“Why does he need to be impressed by me?” Marina asked curiously. “He doesn’t expect me to stay, right? I have to find my sisters. They could have been hurt like I was, or worse! I have to find them!”

LindaKing Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."*15-30 Minutes Later* Linda was delighted to see Marina wearing the clothes she picked out then escorted her out of the Royal Dressing Room & to where Brandon was in the Dining Room. Here she is, Brandon. Marina looks so cute in the clothes that I picked out for her. Linda stepped aside for Marina so that Brandon can see her. Call me if you need anything or have any questions. The Royal Mystics' meeting in the Library should be over by now and I've got tidy up the Library. And with that, Linda left for the Library to clean up. *exit Linda* Brandon was quite impressed when he saw Marina in her new clothes and he blushed bright red. Marina, you look beyond beautiful, more than any other girl that I've ever met. Please, have a seat next to me & we'll have something to eat. Then we'll see about finding your friends. Brandon then escorted Marina to her seat at the dining room table with was next to Brandon's seat. He was wearing his king's crown upon returning his Adventurer's cap to its place. The chefs brought a tray of 4 Donuts as a light snack along with some Green Tea to drink, placing 2 of them on each plate; 2 for Brandon & 2 for Marina to try, then the Green Tea on the table. Afterwards, they left back into the kitchen. Have you ever had a New Fashioned Donut before? They taste really good. They're the finest donuts in Kyrandia, fresh from the Bakery.

Marina sighed as she listened to Linda talk. She didn’t really understand anything Linda was talking about. “Purple. He used the purple stone.”
Marina stayed silent as another person came around. She looked at the different dresses and different fabrics. Some of the material was soft and others not so soft. She had never seen dresses like this before. She wasn’t even aware that Linda was talking to her as she looked around. A pretty red dress caught her eye. It reminded of the tail she had.
Sometime later, Marina was wearing the red dress she was looking at earlier. She was surprised that it fit her. She still didn’t understand what was going on as Linda escorted her to Brandon. She didn’t know what to expect. Marina looked down when Brandon complimented how she looked.
“Thank you,” Marina said quietly. Marina Sat in her seat, not sure what else she should say. “No, I’m never eaten human food before…” She looked at the round objects in front of her. She didn’t know what to do with them. “How am I suppose to eat it?”

King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."Brandon felt like he was on a first date with a girl that he just met. Marina was indeed beyond beautiful in her red dress. Watch me, Marina. I show you how to eat some of the foods that we have here. Brandon picked up his donut then took a bite out of it then chewed on it until it was in bite size pieces in his mouth then swallowed it. As for the tea, its something that you drink. Brandon took his tea cup then lifted up and took a sip from it then placed it back down. This is how we eat & drink foods and drink here. Brandon then explained to Marina about the Surface World's Table Etiquette, some foods are meant to be eaten with utensils & the silverware that's used, afterwards, he decided to change the topic and hoped to know Marina more. What are your sisters' names, Marina?

Marina followed Brandon’s example and bit into the donut. It was the sweetest thing she had ever tasted. She watched as he sipped his tea. She picked up her glass, smelled the aroma that came off of the liquid, and took a small sip. After taking a few more sips of her tea, she glanced up at Brandon.
“I have any sisters, and a few brothers…” she said. She took a small bite of her donut. “The two I was traveling with are Clarissa and Lara. Lara is my twin.”

“Lara is fascinated with the human world,” Marina said. “She’s completely heroic and brave… Nothing like me… She’s always talked about coming up here and exploring the lands, as well as the waters. I’m nothing like her. As a matter of fact, she should be the one here, not me.”
She looked at the tea and donut and smiled gently. “They are very good, thank you. We don’t have these things in Ocenea.”

“Yes I like music,” Marina said as she took a sip of her tea. “I found this thing once… It was big and had lots of strings on it. I didn’t know what it was, but it made really pretty sounds. When I showed my mother, she was skeptical, but she allowed me to keep it because of the sounds it made.”
Marina frowned a little. She wondered if she would ever see her mother again. The whole ocean might be looking for her. She was a missing mermaid princess after all. She felt like she should return home as soon as she was able. “You said there was an underwater counterpart to your kingdom? Do you think they would help me get a message to my mother?”

She's the mother of 6 Mermaid Princesses and wife of the Sea King in Kyrandia's undersea kingdom. She's also a great writer, or we can talk to the Sea King, he's Queen Lydia's husband and ruler of Kyrandia's undersea kingdom. Brandon lightly blushed toward Marina. After we've finished eating, we can also see if anyone else has washed ashore in Kyrandia's beaches, maybe we'll be able to find your friends. What's your mother like & what's her name? As for the Instrument, something with lots of stings maybe called a Harp. Brandon finished his donuts on his plate and his Tea that was in his cup, then waited for Marina to finish. What would you like the letter to say to your mother when we ask Lydia to send a message? As for why I was blushing bright red earlier, Marina, I think that I may be falling in love with you. Brandon said this to Marina. He never met her mother, brothers or sister before. As for Contacting Queen Lydia & the Sea King from Kyrandia's undersea counterpart, the Fastest way to contact them was by means of a Magic Mirror hanging in the Throne Room. So, Marina, what do you think of my castle so far? There's plenty of more places for us to see but it can wait.

Marina sighed. She didn’t want to reveal her identity. She thought about what the letter should say. She knew it should say that she was alright and that the storm separated her from her other two sisters, but she didn’t think her mother would be too happy that she was now walking around with legs. Only a few hours into the human world and she wanted to return to the sea. It was too hot and dry on land. It made her feel sick almost.
“That I’m alright I suppose,” Marina finally said. “My mother is very strict. She would not be happy to know her youngest daughter is on land with legs.” Marina didn’t know how much of the underwater world Brandon knew about already. Would he know her mother’s name? It wasn’t a risk she wanted to take. She understood the rules on royalty. She was a mermaid princess. Princesses, whether they’re in the sea or on land, was supposed to marry princes and in some cases, kings. Marina wasn’t ready to marry, let alone falling in love. She remained silent, not knowing what she was supposed to say.
“Your castle is very nice,” she said, avoiding the sudden confession from Brandon.

But to contact your mother, I'm sorry to hear that your mother is really strict. I can show you the mirror in the Throne Room, we can use that to contact Lydia. Brandon was a little afraid of what Marina's mother may say to him after turning Marina human although he tried to be brave about it. Marina, I'll have you know that I'm a caring person & so are my people. Let me show you where the throne room is so we can use the Mirror. Brandon escorted Marina to the throne room as soon as she was finished eating and drinking her tea then showed her the Mirror that was next to a Land & Sea painting. This Mirror is magical & very special, with it, you can ask it to see anything you like or talk to anyone you wish to make contact with, Marina. Watch me & I'll show you how it works. Please show me Queen Lydia. The mirror began to glow as it showed an image of the Mermaid Queen of Kyrandia's undersea counterpart in her undersea kingdom. She had Blue Eyes, Pink hair, a blue tail, pink shell top, a flower hair clip like Marina's and wore a pearl crown. Why hello, Brandon. How are you & who is this lovely girl that's with you? “Alright,” Marina said as she stood up. She really needed to get in contact with her family. She kept quiet as she followed Brandon into the throne room. She wondered if her mother would go searching for her. What would she say? How would she react? So many questions filled her mind. Marina was afraid, but now for herself.
