The referee would've counted Punk using the ropes for his advantage, which was not legal. "1!...2!...3!..4!.." Punk finally let Edge go after the four count, as Punk would adjust himself to stand on the apron, waiting for Edge's attention..

Punk grabbed the top rope and tried to pull it as hard as he can, then catapulting himself with his feet on the top rope, he attempted to launch off going for a Springboard Clothesline to Edge!

Punk felt himself lifted up in the air, but he tried to save himself by placing his body down to Edge and attempting to go for a Sunset Powerbomb Roll-Up!
