Heh, a Tiefling and now an infernal warlock as well, you all might get some strange looks from the villagers. However as long as you solve their problems they wont care, just don't expect to be invited over to dinner right away. Since the Teifling is a Paladin with 19 charisma though, he might get a pass.
A Goliath would be well received. There are few Goliaths living in town and they are well liked for their strength and hard working nature. The leader of the town himself is actually half Goliath .

Don't know a good race, and don't want to play a human, but Infernal warlock on the way!
Well, if you aren't the type to envision a character (the fact that mine was a tiefling had nothing to do with the stat bonuses, it's just what I pictured in my head!), then for Infernal, you'll want Con. If Kowsauni is using the updated stat boosts (one fixed bonus, one either/or bonus), here's what will get you +2 Con:
