Maybe she was being careless, now. She stepped on the same spot - that was a definite creak from the floorboards. She was sure he'd heard that.

Fast. Estel threw herself sideways, the knife slicing into her skirt. She pulled it out, slowly walking back to leave it with the other one.
"...again?"

Estel noticed he didn't mention running out of things to throw at her as a possibility. Keeping her mouth shut, she started walking again.

Nearly there. Estel froze as the sticky note currently stuck to the back of her hand crinkled a bit. Had Shun heard that?

Shun's fingers twitched as he thought he heard something. A moment later, it became a little more clear to him, as he heard a crinkle of paper once more. And just like that, a blade came flying at Estel.

"Ah!" The blade clipped her shoulder as she flung herself to the ground a little too late. Estel pulled it out, the new scratch beneath her shirt leaking light.
Without a word of complaint, she went back to put the blade down with the others.

"Leeeet's try this again." Estel rubbed her shoulder, scowling. Either she was worse than this than she'd thought... or Shun was just really attentive.
Shaking her head, she started to walk again.

Estel held her arms defensively up in in front of herself. The blade cut a long line across her forearm, and Estel picked it up once it had fallen to the ground.
She was bleeding more light than she would have liked, now, but she was determined not to give up - and not to complain. This wasn't nearly as bad as getting hit by lightning had been.
