A smile tugged at his lips when she curtsied. "It will be no trouble. I rather wanted to get out for awhile as it was." His gaze shifted past her and down a ways before he continued. "What places are near your cafe? Do we need to make haste? I would hate for you to be late if you are suppose to be working." Ruby eyes shifted back, his gaze settling on her again as he waited to hear where he would be leading or directing her to go.

"Have you heard of the Sugar Rush Cafe?" she inquired, "It's been around for a while, but I think this particular location is fairly new. I think I remember seeing a salon beside it...if I'm not mistaken..." She trailed off for a moment, paused, then smiled awkwardly, folding her hands behind her head. "Y-yeah I probably should get back there soon...I was the only one taking a shift today..." That'll show her to run out before thinking twice. "In hindsight I probably could have just looked at the woman's ID in her wallet and called her using a phonebook or something..." she mumbled, rubbing her bottom lip with her finger in thought.

His smile turned apologetic as he shook his head. "Forgive me my dear, but I am not familiar with it. I have been in this world awhile now, yet there are still many thing I know nothing of." He pondered the rest a moment before speaking again. "I can get you to the salon if it is the one of which I am thinking." Shaking his head, he chuckled as her words softened to a mumble. "Sounds like you went on impulse. Who knows, perhaps getting it to her sooner prevented an unforeseen problem waiting may have caused." Moving out of the doorway, he closed the door behind him. "Shall we get going then? Sounds like the cafe will be needing you."

Sammy nodded, but the way she did it dipped her whole torso forward in a miniature bow. "It's okay, not everyone has heard of it, but I really appreciate you walking me out. I'm really glad we met." She straightened her back and nodded, regularly this time, and turned, ready to head out as he locked the door.

He raised a brow as she made the near bow. "No reason to fret, a gentleman should be of help." Once the door was locked, he gazed down at her with a smile. Placing a hand over his heart, he bowed his head to her. "Sammy my dear, I am sure the pleasure is all mine." Raising his head, he gave her a wink and moved past her starting to walk. "It is not too far and involves few turns. Once we arrive, I hope you shall not forget this place." Looking over his shoulder, his gaze fell upon her a moment. "No need to be a stranger, as it were."

Sammy stepped aside, giving him room to pass by, feeling her beat differently when he paid her the compliment. Swallowing quietly, she nodded in acknowledgement and followed him down the long corridor. "I won't...forget..." she promised, blushing a little. ◕//-//◕
She made a point to look around and commit the things she saw to memory to help her make the journey in the future, while occasionally stealing glances back at her guide to make sure she hadn't lost track of him in the shadows.

A smirk played about his lips as he turned his head forward again. The blush had not been missed. "Wonderful. We will be back in a more lit area again shortly." He continued to lead, wincing and ducking his head a fraction once the area opened up and brightened. We are nearly to the salon, does anything look familiar to you?"

"Mm!" Sammy hummed with a nod, a courtesy to let him know she'd heard him. As she area opened up and the light shone through, Sammy blinked a couple times as she stepped out onto a sidewalk. It would appear she'd made a simple wrong turn down what, at a glance, looked like a possible shortcut.
"Oh yeah," she realized, recognizing the signs around them. "It shouldn't be too far from here, thankfully." she tacked on that last part with a lighthearted giggle.

"I see." Slowing to a halt, he turned to the side waiting for her to reach where he was. "Would you then perhaps know the way to your cafe from where we are now? If not, we can keep heading to the salon. Otherwise.." Here he paused and gave her a grin. "I believe it might be time for you to lead. I am still not sure where the actual cafe is located."

Sammy caught up with him, a little surprised to see that, yes, those were horns coming out of the top of his head. Her expression was momentary, and that of innocent surprise. Even though she was only two weeks into her new life as a secret heroin, her path crossed with so many colorful characters that she knew better than to judge a book by its cover...especially to those who were so kind to her. "Sure, I think I can take it from here. And, if you're not in a hurry, maybe I can treat you to a cinnamon roll. The cafe's sort of famous for them. Unless there's something else you'd like to try." she offered with a smile, folding her hands behind her back.

The grin was still in place as he caught the look she gave him. "Did something catch your eye, my dear?" Nodding, he made a motion for her to take the lead. "Then I leave it to you. I think I can spare some time. I admit to having my interest piqued. Do they have a large selection of tea?"

Sammy jumped a little as he called her out on her staring. Oh man, she hated being put on the spot...
"Eh, um, you're beautiful." emotion_sweatdrop God what a stupid thing to say... she thought immediately after.
She was also horribly afraid of insulting people. Quickly changing the subject she coughed into her fist, collected her wit, squared her shoulders, took his hand, and jogged off in what she hoped was the right way to go. "Th-this way! We have all the tea you can think of!"

Chuckling, he raised a brow. That wasn't exactly the response he had expected, but it was certainly interesting. "You have a rather unique taste in beauty. Thank you." He was a little surprised when she took his hand to lead him, but he didn't stop her. Walking quickly he was able to keep up with her jogging, having a longer stride and all. "Alright, just be careful in your haste. I would hate for you to trip or stumble."

Her shoes clicked against the pavement in almost equal intervals, sounding very similar to a timely metronome. "I-It's okay," she said between breaths, "I'm used to running in heels..." That was a lie. She was just too shy to admit that was a very real possibility. Luckily the café wasn't too far now. Making a couple turns the salon was well in sight, and beside it the Sugar Rush Café. Sammy slowed to a stop and took a couple deep breaths. "We're here!" she announced, sounding almost surprised. She smiled appreciatively, then realized she was still holding Tobias' hand. "Oh uh..." She quickly let it go and opened the door for him. "After you!"OOC: We don't have to switch threads, I just thought I'd include the link. ^^

Having stepped out ages ago, she finally returns, a small box of doughnuts in one hand. Whistling a merry pirate tune, she turned the corner into the dim corridor on the second floor where Tobias had taken up residence. It was at her insistence that he get his own room. After all, he couldn't spend all of his nights out on her balcony in the cold. Arriving at his door, she knocked lightly and announced her presence.
"Toby? I'm back, and I brought some more doughnuts~!" She sang out, jiggling the small box for emphasis. Usually, that would bring him running, or at least walking quickly. Receiving no answer, she assumed he'd stepped out. Digging around in her pocket, she produced a key ring with several different keys in various colors. Most were for things she kept locked away, but others were for different things entirely. One of them just happened to be a key to his room. It wasn't too strange, he had a key to hers as well.
Sticking it in the lock and turning it, she let herself in, twirling the key ring around her fingers as she stepped into the room. Closing the door behind her with a toe, she placed the keys back in her pocket and headed for the kitchenette, setting the box down on the counter. He would see them as he walked in, which was perfect. Heading over to the couch and plopping herself down on a cushion, she began to take her shoes off, setting them by the door.
"Might as well make myself at home, who knows when he'll get back.." she mused, stretching out on his couch. She spent lots of time here, and knew he wouldn't mind her being here. They were best friends, so it made sense. Misa would occupy herself with television until Tobias got back, starting with the music channels. He had a love of music, though eclectic in nature, wasn't too bad. She'd warm up her voice and sing a few songs for now, being mindful of those anons still sleeping at this hour.
