Kasum heard a far off boom and the water rippled as the cave shook. She tensed as a few rocks tumbled down into the hotspring. When the cave stops shaking she looks to Dashaco, "what was that?"

*looks tword the cave entrance.* "Sounds like explosives that can only bode ill for us lets go take a look."

She takes off from the water rather awkwardly, and flies up, not bothering to land on the ledge and walk, she continues to fly towards the entrance.

*Dashaco flies up and out to the entrance then lands. He down off the clif.* "It's to far I can't see a thing you?"

She hovers in the air over the cliff, she shakes her head, "I can't see anything either." She looks back at him, "I'm going to take a closer look." she folds her wings to her body and dives for the ground.

"Be........carful.....hu I'm coming with you!"*Dashaco jumps off the cliff and lets him self free fall with his wings next to his body.*

She fanned her wings as she neared the bottom. She hovered, and saw a group of humans. "I can't see what they're doing." she thought out loud, contemplating weither she should move closer.

"then let me find that out. you need to at lest stay out of sight." *Dashaco flies and lands in the forest. He then turns into his human form and walks to the humans." *hello um excuse me sir can you tell me what your doing?"

Kasumi found a crag on the cliff and landed with a huff. She tried to see what was going on, but trees blocked her view.
The man looked at Dashaco, "why, sir, there's rumour that there be a huge gold deposit here. We plan on mining the mountain. We've claimed this area and there are probably others who have staked a claim, but if you go into town I'm sure they'll let you claim some for yourself." said the cheerful man, smiling at him.

"Really gold depsits I was here last week and I didn't find any gold you must be thinking of the next moutain over that one is practily made of gold. It's that way." *Dashaco points to the west then looks at the man*

The man looks at him thoughtfully. "perhaps." he scratched the stubble on his chin. "But I was told to dig here specifically. I'll let the boss know though."
High above, kasumi was straining her eyes trying to see. Her tail swished in frustration.
