Once the awe had settled, the slave began to worry about Arron. "But... your clothes," he mumbled, "you'll... freeze." The last thing he wanted was for his attempt at saving Arron to cause him trouble instead. He tried to move, though he wasn't sure what he'd be able to do.

Arron held up the blanket that had made appear for himself. "I-I'll be fine for a-a little while." he said with a kind blushing smile. He was actually hoping for the young man to fall asleep so he could change clothes in the dry shed without any embarrassment.

He tried to stay awake to make sure Arron would be okay, feeling responsible for all of this somehow. He wished he'd just sent him on his way the moment he saw him arrive. His body was failing him the longer he fought his exhaustion, and it wasn't long before his heavy eyelids closed, sending him off to sleep.

Arron waited for the young man to fall asleep before using the gardening equipment to hang the blanket horizontally. He made a different outfit appear & quickly changed, hoping the slave did not awaken. Once he was out of the wet clothes he sent them away via his wrist plate. The mechanic then settled down to wait out the storm.

As the night went on, the rain calmed, going into a gentle down pour. The slave slept peacefully for a time, not shifting or making a sound. However, the quiet of the night was broken in an instant, as soft murmurs escaped him. Whatever dream he may have been having didn't appear to be bad, luckily. A few words he muttered could even be understood, like "careful", "practice", and the name "Atticus". It was only until awhile later that the dream took a dark turn, and the slave's expression became pained.

The lythcol mechanic frowned, watching the slave sleep. He was tempted to wake him, but decided against it. He did however make note of the things he was muttering. However, sleep did eventually take hold of the young man as well.

The shed was undisturbed through the night. As the sun rose in the sky, the rain became a light trickle, and then stopped completely. Had his Mistress gotten what she wanted, the slave would have slept on the ground where she left him. Instead, he was warm and dry, opening his eyes slowly to the light that peek through the crack in the door.

(>_> You are not allowed to sleep in sheds anymore mechanic.) There was a slight snore from the mechanic as he was now latched onto a rake, still fast asleep.

The slave looked over at Arron, then smiled softly upon seeing his cuddle buddy. Carefully, he sat up and held onto the side of the shed wall to drag himself to his feet. It was difficult, as he hadn't regained enough energy. Still, he was determined to get that map he'd mentioned before. He felt that he needed to repay Arron for his kindness by safely helping him find his way through the forest.

Arron was a relatively heavy sleeper, so he would not wake up unless the door to the shed was slammed or he was shaken awake.

On shaky, weak legs, the slave boy pulled himself through the door of the shed, careful to close the door quietly. If Arron remained asleep in the shed, he knew it would be less likely that his Mistress would find him, so he walked quietly away and toward the mansion. He stumbled and fell to his knees a few times, but finally made it to the door of the mansion.
However, the shed was old, and the door had a habit of opening on its own sometimes. With a creak, it opened wide, letting in the light from outside to shine across all the equipment, and the sleeping Arron.

The sudden brightness, caused him to grumble & open his eyes which he rubbed sleepily. He let go of the rake & stood stretching, remember the events of the previous day. Looking around he said "St-Steve? Where'd y-you go?" Being unable to find the slave he gathered the blankets & damp clothing, making them disappear from whence they came. Arron then stepped out of the shed, looking around after closing it.

Wary and nervous, the slave slipped into the mansion, closing the door behind him. He wondered to himself where the maps were kept before deciding that his Mistress's study would be the most likely place. It was fortunate that his cruel owner was more of a night person, as it would be unlikely for her to be awake so early in the morning. With only his growing weakness to drag him down, he climbed the steps to the second floor of the mansion, taking a break by one of the windows to catch his breath.

Arron looked at the mansion & debated going inside. He wanted to make sure his friend was okay, but he did not want to meet the head of the house after last night's incident. He did admire the property itself as he looked around. The mechanic did not wish to lose himself in the garden so he stayed close to the greenhouse & shed. "Stars... th-this place is st-stunning..." he said to himself.

The slave spotted Arron outside through the window as he moved on, but since he was merely exploring outside, he saw no reason to get his attention. He continued down the hallway until he reached his Mistress's study, then slipped inside and started to look for a map of the forest. There were many maps, and sure enough, one of them was a detailed one of the forest. The slave tucked that map gently into his boot, then started to make his way back out of the mansion.
Where Arron explored was just as lovely as before. The green house looked much nicer during the day. All of the flowers and plants glistened with dew, sparkling in the sun's radiance. The sprinkler system was still broken, shattered pieces laying on the ground by the remaining parts of the control panel still attached to the wall.
