My biggest qualm is the movement away from cash-shops and toward Gcash.
Originally it made sense for monthly collectables, but it's really gotten out of hand.
I don't like that I can't participate in events now without buying things and that all the new items are real-money based.
Otherwise Gaia is still pretty great.

Nia Phoenix I love how wonderful the people on Gaia are - despite a few hackers, I've loved my time here and made some wonderful friends I hate how money grubbing it's all become, the Mp is so out of control..I can't believe the changes I've seen in my short time here Happy Birthday! xd I adore your avi!

DruidTigeress I hate how every time I log on I have 5 new announcements about some cash shop item :/ But, I still love the forums here! Dude preach.
The people make this site wonderful but the cash shop has gotten out of control.

I like that Gaia has a wide variety of forums, so that members are allowed to both get their art critiqued by others, and collaborate literarily with others.

Happy birthday! I hope it's been a good one.
This is my 10th year on Gaia, and while there are a great many disappointing things going on, I still like my guilds and I still enjoy the events. I've met some really interesting people over the years, and that's why I've stayed as long as I have.

I like the jigsaw puzzles on Gaia and the guilds I've joined are great. zOMG was interesting up to a point, but than it got old and I lost interest. What I don't really on Gaia is some of the people on here. Growing up, I was taught that if you didn't really have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. This message has obviously not been conveyed to other people as I usually get a lot of hate posts for for some of the stuff I post (most of the hate posts are directed at the My Little Pony memes I post). Oh well. No sense fretting about it. I'm going to continue posting what I post and delete/ignore what I considered offensive that is directed towards me.
Addendum: The other I don't like about Gaia is the Gaia cash system.

love the marketplace... i learned the art of "buy-&-sell" and build your gold coins. then, i helped those who, legitimately, need my assistance.
however, i hate those fellow gaians who take advantage at your expense and mistakes, i.e., error in pricing.
