I'll be keeping my word now. I'll get started on refining all my character profiles and creating a new one for the Commandant.

Gerrard Sylvan
Age: 39
Personality: Stubborn and to-the-point. Prideful in his actions and decisions but always listens to objection or criticism from his cadre and council, although he may not always take their word into consideration. There is nothing he respects more than a man with honor and a strong sense of duty but his somewhat sexist ideal causes him some difficulty to recognize women as valued warrior and he’d prefer to fight alongside a full men army. This view was challenged the most when his daughter took to the sword as he did.
Biography: Commandant Sylvan inherited the throne of Langston after his father’s death, being that he was the last surviving heir of his. Prior to his ascension Gerrard spent the last 10 years of his life learning the ways of war alongside his countrymen fighting against Cyther. The last campaign of the previous Commandant was establishing a boarder over newly seized territory causing a stalemate between the two warring countries; pausing the 20 year war. In that time he became severely ill and formally handed over the title of Commandant before finally passing away. For the next year Gerrard planned and oversaw several missions of insurgency against the city-state of Cyther, which still had not elected an official High Lord. Rather than breaking out into all-out war again Cyther countered this by doing the same. The actions of the two countries resulted in many more deaths between them but not as many soldiers died as civilian bystanders. In light of new circumstances Cyther had finally elected Bree Estineburg as High Lord. Gerrard lead a stealth group that same week to assassinate her but was unsuccessful. During that standoff Bree challenged him, calling his sense of patriotism in question and urged him cease his actions and consider a treaty. Gerrard thought little on her words and considered it mere mediation of the losing side but during the next four years of her rule Gerrard’s agents, sent on missions of stealth and sabatoge, never saw a successful outcome again. All the while Bree was strengthening her boarders of Cyther and urging for and end of the 20 year war and by that slowly gained the respect and admiration of Gerrard.

Weapon(s): The Ogre Twins: An enhanced two-handed sword that can split down the center into two lighter weight long swords for duel wielding.
Powers:
* - Cyclops - Gerrard uses the base of his blade to block an incoming attack and vertically slashes it several times using momentum to deliver devastating blows.
* - Song - Gerrard uses the flat end of his blade in a downward swing that causes stunning with a successful and uses a forward thrust to aim for vital points.
* - Full-sweep - Gerrard uses a circular, over head swing during hand-to-hand combat to attack or block a full circle of adversaries.
* - Can Opener - With the forking skewers or blade handels of his sword Gerrard uses a forceful downward stab to damage or destroy the opponents armor.
* - Blood Sweep - During a parry or hand-to-hand combant Gerrard separates The Ogre Twins and uses the unoccupied blade to deliver a full-circle swing.
* - Basilisk - Delivers a flurry of quick stabs with the two separated blades of The Ogre Twins.
Abilities:
* - Rally - Langston allies jump at the chance to fight along side Gerrard with greater courage.
* - Insight - Higher understanding of enemy attack patters.
* - Courage - Prevents his senses from being clouded in any way by illusions or emotions.
* - Discerning Eye - His experience allows him comprihensive assesment on enemy defense making destruction of armor and explotation of weak points more successful.
* - Daring Pressence - The apperance of the Commandant on the battlefield causes a taunting effect to enemy units often bringing the would be heros to his sword.
* - Colossus - Higher physical strength allows him normal and unhindered movability in heavy armor and quicker without.

sephiroth0990 I gueesssssssss. xP P.S. People, for the Prologus, only the leaders of Cyther and Langston need to be present. Their offspring can join them, but that is completely up to you folks. Along with Ravenor, I'm going to be playing as Aveluthara as well. I'm in the works for her profile. Because the Prologus is short, it won't be long before we get the other characters into the role-play.

Also here is a brief discription of the minor characters I have added, these are free to be killed off or manipulated by anyone who wishes.
Harold: Older gentleman specializing in ice magic. His origins are unknown. He has served several years in the house of Cyther as mediator or representative for many religious and educational organizations. Late 50s, 5’6 in height, short white hair, light blue eyes, calm disposition.
Bale Chansey: A specialist in stealth and alteration. Illusions are his main defense in a pinch however, uses shorter blades or knifes. Late 20s, 6 ft in height, mid-length black hair, green eyes, disciplined and proper disposition.
Lea: A mage knight in the service of Cyther. Sworn fealty to Bree Estineburg and no other in the house of Cyther. She uses enchanted blade magic typically fire and has healing/curative spells. Early 20s, 5’5 in height, long blond hair kept in a braid and up in a bun, blue eyes, positive and optimistic disposition.
Kcol: A mage knight in the service of Cyther. Sworn fealty to Bree Estineburg and no other in the house of Cyther, he uses enchanted blade magic typically lightning and fire has offensive projectile magic of the same elements. Late 20s, 6 ft in height, short brown hair which is faded at the sides and back, brown eyes curious and optimistic disposition.
Marx: A Lancer in the service of Langston. Sworn fealty to Gerrard Sylvan and no other in the house of Langston, he uses a variety of lunging, lancing, and jumping techniques in combat and is highly skilled at fighting long range combatants by quickly and skillfully closing long distances between them. Early 20s, 5’6 in height, short blond hair, blue eyes, dutiful and vigilant disposition.
Gideon: A Swordsman in the service of Langston. Sworn fealty to Gerrard Sylvan and no other in the house of Langston, he viciously uses two long swords in combat and is an expert at close quarters combat capable of breaking enemy formation is minutes. Early 30s, 6’2 in height, long black curly hair usually left unkempt, medium length black beard and moustache, brown eyes, playful and loyal disposition.
Rhafii: A archer in the service of the Echelon. Loyal to order of the Echelon and Gerrard Sylvan. Skilled long range combat and a natural at stealth and infiltration aside from a bow uses a shorter blade in a pinch. Late 20s, 5’4 in height, mid-length brown hair usually kept in a high tail, scruffy faced with brown whiskers, green eyes, serious and quiet disposition. |
