I must say.. everything aside, and knowing I don't post very much. But it says something when a group has so much strength, to not only professionally accept the outcome of a situation, but to band together to create what will probably be a Utopia of the B/C world. <3
Side note.. Equine sounds good :3

Nyx Queen of Darkness First off those lines are ADORABLE. Second, Equine NOT Native American and much less...restrictive. I'd like more magic, doesn't have to be a lot...but I'd like more if we're talking wants. Why not be based in a totally mythic land or even in the far east or something, I don't know. Agreed. I wouldn't mind a more middle eastern sort of thing (then I could finally get my Marwari horses), or something European (then you could have settings in ruins of castles or some cool stuff like that).

Hi guys! I am really sad to see all this going down, and... I'd hate to see this community go down because of the drama llama-ing that's been going on. I'm free atm and though it's not much to offer... I can offer to make lines if mind/Mal/the community wants me to, free of charge ;; It's not much, but the offer stands?   Examples? Deviantart?The biggest downside being that I... don't particularly excel at trying to make equines so I don't know how much help that'd be. PS- the Dragons up there have no home shop. I made them, and... they have no home. But then again, there's a huge gap from horses to er raptor-like dragons so. ANYWHO.

I have always loved your lines. I think they're absolutely gorgeous and so versatile. You express that in your post with the cute style up top and then the more hardcore raptor-esque creatures. I will not speak for anyone, but I thank you for offering to make lines for the shop for free. That was very generous of you. If this is the direction that everyone chooses to go, please expect compensation from me, even though you've said you wouldn't like any. I think it's extremely generous of you to offer.

I would love the shop to continue WITH horses..but that doesn't mean to me it has to be Exclusively horses..those dragon lines up there are fantastic! And if we go with a more fantasy less restrictive world I don't see why the species available couldn't be wider either.Horses, dragons, gryphons what?
Then again that could be a touch to complicated to start with. Horses though are my main B/C draw.

JetAlmeara I would love the shop to continue WITH horses..but that doesn't mean to me it has to be Exclusively horses..those dragon lines up there are fantastic! And if we go with a more fantasy less restrictive world I don't see why the species available couldn't be wider either.Horses, dragons, gryphons what? Then again that could be a touch to complicated to start with. Horses though are my main B/C draw. Mentioning Gryphons made me think of the old medieval saying "to mate griffins with horses", which was the older version of "When Pigs fly", and made hippogryphs the symbol of impossibility and love overcoming all. It would be interesting to see the shop have more than just horses if it comes to it. Especially since I DO have some sketches of things that could be made into pets. When I get a break long enough on these proposal graphics I'm working on I'll see about loading some of the sketches I've doodled, including those I was pondering making into a Deviant Art Adoptable.

And for peeps to have fun with the lines. I'm free till classes start back up in October. So I could offer to help. I also don't mind collabing if Mind/mal/the community would rather that. Edit:
As a random note, if you guys wish to avoid drama and bad feelings, you might want to reconsider just ponies? I think someone above me pointed out different mythological creatures together and stuff.
Making ponies.... it might make sirenz think you're attacking her even further and my experience in these cases (I've been involved in a site meltdown -> creating another site where 99% of the userbase moved to), it's usually best to avoid making a 'direct copy' of the previous place?
A lot of us have a lot of soq, so transitioning them to a new place might be difficult to impossible for the shop to handle given the amount of work that would be done either for free, or little money, and might burn out the staff before the shop's even set up.
What I would like to suggest here is.... a free-for-all idea?
Either a thread that allows the users (and the users friends) and staff to take on their on soq and redo them on shop lines (or SPECIAL soq-to-shop lines! Shiny!), as they want to. Like... I could go in there (much like with steamworks?) and recreate my own soq onto these lines, for free. Or I could have a friend do it for me! Or a user that offers, or staff.
That way staff is not responsible for the recreation of ALL these pets?

Here are some of the sketches I've done in the past, brainstorming for things like DA Adoptable sales and Silver token aywas I also have dragons and a bunch of other things I need to take pictures of to show you guys. I have years worth of doodles from whenever I was away from the computer I can try to set up Edit: 11:40 AM added some more scribbles
