Ryumi tilted his head as he shifted the scroll before flicking it and letting it swirl around him before a burst of chakra and smoke flared before he flicked his wrist, retracting the scroll. He now wore a deep sapphire blue shirt with black cargo pants and dark gray sandals as well as dark gray forearm bracers and black fingerless gloves.

"...That works, too, I suppose..." She mumbles. Shrugging it off, she looks up at him once again. "We should probably find somewhere to stay. Considering we're probably gonna be here for a while..." She mentions, knowing that they might.

Ryumi shifted his weight. "I think my cousin Tenten may help with that, but I can't be sure," he said with a shrug. It was his mother's brother that was Tenten's father, though the only way to see if they'd help would be to ask them. He glanced up to see two ANBU, one with a 'Cat' mask and the other with a 'Crane' mask; both, he could tell, were female, though it was kinda obvious to him that they were likely to escort them to this 'Godaime-sama' woman; he almost knew who it was, though he wasn't sure if Mai knew. The question is, how the hell did I gain this strange Kekkei Genkai, if that's what it is, and how did we end up here? he thought.
He suspected that his words would come back to haunt him as he suspected where they were, but had no true proof nor certainties, as he wasn't really related to the infamous 'weapons mistress' in question.

Mai nods a little, knowing that the ANBU members were behind/above them, but she didn't mind. She knew what they were going to do, and that was all that she really cared about. She knew they were female, as well, but who they were was beyond her knowledge. "That'd be great. A little extra help would be nice." She mumbles, waiting.

Ryumi tilted his head as he chuckled before he crouched, pushing off the ground in one fluid movement. He had honestly expected to do a somersault, though what he didn't expect was for him to leap nearly twenty feet straight up before he twisted, landing on the edge of a rooftop not too far from the two ANBU members; he idly noticed that one had long curly black hair while the other had bright pink hair that stopped a couple of inches below her shoulders. That can't be who I think it is, he thought as he stared unconsciously at the 'Cat' masked ANBU member. It isn't Yugao, though if it actually is who I think it is, then it only confirms my suspicions, he thought. He saw the guy they'd been talking to glance up at him before looking at Mai. "If you prefer, I'll help you get to Godaime-sama's office while your friend does so with the ANBU, though I'm pretty sure Crane will escort us regardless; by the way, I'm Umino Iruka," he said with a smile.

Mai looked back at the man nearest her and smiles a bit. "Fukiyomi Mai. Nice to meet you." She says, turning more towards him. "And, if you don't mind, I'll take you up on that offer." She says, looking up at him, mostly zoning out on the scar going across the bridge of his nose, but otherwise looked right at him.

Ryumi tilted his head as Iruka rubbed his finger beneath his nose with a slight blush before he half turned, motioning for Mai to follow him. "Lead on, ladies," he sighed as he glanced towards the masked pair. The raven haired woman, who he was certain was older than the pinkette, took his upper arm in a firm grip before he jogged with them, not realizing they were leaping from building to building."How do you like Konoha so far? I get the sense you're... not from around here, maybe Kiri?" Iruka asked, a very slight smile on his face. Ryumi was also looking around with a thoughtful expression. He didn't recognize a single thing within sight, yet he had the feeling something... was off. It isn't the surroundings... it's something different with me, he realized. He glanced down at himself, seeing nothing different. "You have strong chakra, if not much control," he heard the pinkette mutter; he could tell she meant him to hear it. "What is chakra? I know what chi is... the physical energy of the body," he sighed, a bit confused as to what she meant. He noticed the large rounded four story tower with the kanji for 'Fire' on it, though he didn't recognize it.

Mai looked ahead to the pink haired female who was on Ryu's arm, only then to be distracted by a rather tall building with the kanji for fire on it. She was then assured only further that they were somewhere new. Which she was alright with, but she knew that she was going to be disoriented to no end once they really started to get into looking around.

Ryumi frowned as the pinkette didn't answer his question before they dropped to the dusty street. He sighed, shaking his head. "Man... this is real informative," he muttered under his breath. He noticed a scantily dressed woman in a brown trench coat with purple hair and a smirk staring at them from a staircase leading upward.

Mai followed the group, looking around a bit whilst catching a glimpse of the woman smirking down at them. She turned her attention away from her, just looking ahead and ignoring the woman. While she wouldn't lie, it was a tad awkward, she went with it. No use in trying to stop it... As much as she wanted to at least try.

Ryumi glanced at the unfamiliar woman, sighing. He was mildly surprised when they were led into an office with a tall... rather large breasted blond woman with her hair in thin braided ponytails. "I'll get straight to the point. Who are you and what village are you from?" she said bluntly as she stared at both himself and Mai with a look that screamed 'don't lie'. "We have no idea what you're talking about," he said bluntly right back, rolling his eyes.
