Chew Choo Train ✱ is there anything you'd like to know about burn or myself ┉ how do you keep it so up-to-date and interesting? A lot of the guilds I have joined are usually dead after the first few months..D: but this one's super! C: Aww, thanks! heart Honestly, though, I'm so not the person responsible for that; not anymore, anyways. For the first couple years of this guild's existence, I was able to ensure that there were always fun events & contests & that the guild kept growing & evolving because I had all the free time in the world: I couldn't go to school, couldn't work, & could barely leave my house for a long, long time [11 experimental reconstructive surgeries over the course of three years doesn't leave a person with anything better to do than focus on a Gaia guild]. For the past two years or so, though, I've been absent from Gaia the vast majority of the time. These past few months I've been active, but normally, I'm really just a mix between a figurehead & a bank. If any one person deserves credit for holding this guild together so well, it's the primary Vice Captain, aka_vashy13. Unlike me, her dedication to Burn has never wavered. It's not only her who deserves credit, though. I've been lucky enough to find a small handful of dedicated, hardworking, competent Crew members for Burn who -- despite all my unannounced hiatuses & disappearing & reappearing with a promise not to disappear again only to do exactly that a few weeks later, & whatever other bullshit I've put Burn's crew through in recent years while wrapped up in problem after problem of my own -- they'd always keep making things happen around here. So it's not me who's kept anything up to date & interesting; it's been aka_vashy13, angelfromdownunder, blacvamp, Irako of the Desert, streets of nowhere & a couple other crew members whose amazingness I definitely don't deserve.

An Ineffable Conclusion ✱ is there anything you'd like to know about burn or myself ┉ I've heard that the crew subforum is actually a portal to Narnia. This is true, correct? I'd say it's a bit more like a portal to that anonymous dark forest that Dante wakes up in before he begins his dissent into hell blaugh

Sora Tears ✱ is there anything you'd like to know about burn or myself ┉ How'd you all band together to make this guild? Well, it didn't really go down that way. Initially, I recruited one person -- "Oxy", Burn's original Vice Captain & for a while its only worthwhile crew member -- to be my "sidekick" in helping me create this guild. All of Burn's current crew members came at various other points in time. As for Oxy, he lived not far from me at the time & shortly after becoming friends in real life we started dating & he moved in with me. Our relationship ended so badly that to this day he's still banned from Burn (although I really ought to tell him he can join again if he's still ever on Gaia).

Miss_agenda How did you guys run the guild so smoothly? eek I'm not so sure that Burn has ever run very smoothly at all, lmfao. I just believe it's important that whenever possible, any chaos, disorganization, drama, & dissention be kept "behind the scenes". Not that there's any drama kept "behind the scenes", although there sure as hell has been in the past. In the crew subforum, though, it constantly feels as though we're in a state of semi-chaos trying to figure out how to make this guild run more smoothly.

It's strange... Here I am with this bigass guild for "everyone, everywhere" committed to acceptance, support, & understanding. Yet still I feel as though there are so many things about me that I have to keep secret on Gaia moreso than in real life. I'm not sure what that says about me, or Burn, which probably means I don't even want to know =X .... I like you :3

I don't, I use Gaia's IM and that's about it. I don't like logging on to many things and then having to log them out so my nosy family can't get into my personal life
