"Technically not a wielder....not anymore....was one....not right now due to cirumstances. I am...well...." she bit her lip trying to explain a magic caster to a world that might not have magic.
"I can do things that would consider mythical like magic casting....."

Aingel smiled, nodding again and holding her. "It's fine...You did what you had to...I would have most likely slowed you down anyways...." He looked at her again, tilting his head. "I'm glad you're here, regardless. Things are not looking pretty...The Heartless and Nobodies have found this world, and we're too busy fighting each other to beat them back. It looks like its up to us..." He walked over to his dresser and pulled the book he had gotten from the Academy. "This book says that we need to do...something to he Heart of this world, but I don't know what. I don't even know where the heart is-" Aingel stopped, thinking. "Heart of the world...it would have to be something important to the world, yes? Something that the Heartless would gather around, flock to..." He left the room, gesturing Rena to follow. Once back to his office, he turned on the lights and turned Rena's attention to a giant map taking up an entire wall. In the center of the map was one area where lines and boundaries had been erased and re-drawn, changing as the battle that raged there did. There were numerous towns and cities within the area, but they were all crossed out. Aingel wend up to it, studying the map, before nodding. "The Scar is the Heart of the world. I am sure of it." He looked at the map again, and shook his head. "Only problem is, the Scar is HUGE. we'll need to find the epicenter. The place where the war began. But where..." He studied the map silently, his eyes wandering over to the east side of the map, to Draconia's capital, Kaltenstien. He concentrated on the city, then sighed, before turning back to Rena. "It would take years to comb through the Scar to find the epicenter. However, there is a story I once heard when I was young. There is a library that dates to before the war started eons ago. From what I heard, it is the last remaining place where one can find information documenting the political tension that led up to the war, and prominent locations that weighed in heavily....the only problem is..." He pointed to the marker designating Kaltenstein. "Its in the middle of Draconian territory, apparently located beneath Draconia's very capital building." Moriarty looked over the group, his pointed ears flicking thoughtfully under his helmet before he shrugged. "Key...blades...Kingdom Hearts...never heard of anything like that, but then again, these last few weeks have been insane. First things, first, though, let's get you to our camp. You realize you're standing in the middle of a war zone, correct?" As if to emphasize his point, a low droning sounded from overhead as a bomber formation soared into view. Almost immediately, it was set upon by crimson fighter planes (Draconian) that dove into the formation, guns blazing. One of the bombers broke away, trailing smoke and flames as its occupants bailed out, their parachutes blossoming above them as they floated to the ground. The abandoned bomber continued to fall, striking the ground about a mile away as the bomber formation dissappeared over the horizon, the planes still in pursuit. Moriarty watched the chutes dissappear into the trees, and dispatched one of his men to go meet the downed airmen as he turned back to the group. "See what I mean? Let's get out of here before those planes come back. Because you can bet your britches they'll come back around to look for the crew of that bomber. C'mon."

"Ah yeh ok." Kalen said as he followed the man and gestured for Rose, Rihan, and Near to follow. "Great...just my luck to portal in the middle of a warzone." He said with a sigh. Rena tilted her head at Aingel then remembered. "Ah i have a friend who's draconian. She was a visitor to my world. She had told me she was an informant to the Erudians. She might be able to get us in.....ah...well....as long as you don't mind me helping out." She said looking embarrased now.

Rose bit her lip seeing the planes above. "Astonishing."
She followed Kalen and reconised more draconian planes.
She moved her hand a bit and the sky winds around that plane became turbulant until it rose above the clouds.

Aingel thought, then shook his head. "It will be too long of a journey to move by ground. We'll have to fly there...." Before Rena could ask, he went over to the map, and pointed out a small mark next to Kaltenstein. "There's a military airbase here just outside the city. I can organize a bomber raid on it as a cover, then once the bombs are away, we can break away from the formation and find a place to land the plane. From there, we can meet your friend in the city Will that work?" Moriarty led the group into the woods. After about an hour if hiking, they came upon the Erudian military garrison. Most of the soldiers were Erudian, identified by their beige/tan uniforms, like what Moriarty was wearing, but there was also, surprisingly, a few soldiers wearing the brown/crimson Draconian uniforms. Before anyone could panic, Moriarty turned to the group. "This war is a lot less black and white as it used to be. While there's a few who still harbor grudges on each side, most of us are tired of this. We're just following orders, after all. These Draconian boys got captured in a small skirmish a few days ago. After they're fed and rested, we'll let them return to their lines. We really don't have anything personal against them...not any more...besides, we're all soldiers, and we're tired of seeing our friends die..." He cast a sad glance at a small area off to the right, where there was a small makeshift graveyard set up. To differentiate between Draconian and Erudian, the fallen soldier's helmet had been place on the mound. One would notice that there was an even number of Draconian and Erudian graves, showing that both sides had taken losses. Moriarty looked away, then shrugged. "Anyways, might be best you rest up. Sun's going down soon, so you'll want to get some shuteye." [Note to all RPers in this thread: The Land of the Ever War has a day and night cycle. Unless specified otherwise, night cycles will be timeskipped. Right now, it is dusk. In my post after next, I will initiate the night cycle timeskip. Thank you!]

((Alright))
Rose watched the sun set and sighed looking at all the wounded. She then reconised the symbol of the draconians. Her family had that crest among others that showed what alliances they were in.
"Ive seen that symbol before.....my parents said that the people who wear that symbol" she pointed at the draconian symbol "were their allies.....should I be worried?"

Aingel shook his head. "No, not here. If she lives at the in Kaltenstein, though, we can just find her." He looked outside the window at the setting sun. "Unfortunately its too late to start a mission now. I can send a telegraph to HQ to designate the airfield outside Kaltenstein as our target, but we'll have to wait until morning before flying." He smiled, though, and went over to a small telegraph machine. He tapped out the request for the mission target, and waited a few minutes. Eventually, a confirmation message came back, detailing that Aingel's squadron was to take off first thing in the morning. He came back, gesturing towards the hangars outside. "We'll be taking off first thing in the morning. In the meantime, do you want to help me get the plane ready? We'll need her in top shape of she's going to fly deep into enemy territory..." Moriarty tilted his head, puzzled, but then nodded and gestured to a stack of tents and sleeping bags. "Will do, I suppose. There's some spare tents and sleeping bags here for you guys. Just set up wherever, and make yourselves comfortable." He looked at Rose, smiling. "No, no. My leaders may be squeamish about it, but as long as you don't start shooting at us, we won't treat you any differently. As I've said, we're all tired of this war. Nowadays, most of us are fighting because we were told to. It's all we know." He patted her on the shoulder reassuringly, and turned, striking up a conversation with a wounded Draconian soldier.

"Thats good to hear...hmm maybe the link has something to do with the war if your family was allied with the draconians. They may have something." Kalen suggested to rose. "I've never done anything mechanical before so i don't know if i'll be much help." She said shyly.

Rose nodded "good to know." she sighed looking up at the sky
"my parents were many things, they liked to feed and add to the violence, it was their way of tearing a world apart without dirtying their hands so really there was no trace if anyone else was looking."
