loth17 Southern Cross Nemesis loth17 Southern Cross Nemesis loth17 how many days does six thousand hours equal? 250 days How long are out towns winters? I am going to say normally it about 3 months of darkness. So i have enough pints of oil to last two years worth of winters. Another question my characters backround includes her being in charge of the librairy do i have to pay for each scroll case and stack of extra parchment or do i get those automatically?
I will allow it to be half price, but being in charge doesn't mean free...

No, the library has the backing of the town... though, taxes and the like... so you don't have to pay for eh pages in each book. That being said, don't expect the library to be big. Even if your family was millionaires, building a large building in a village would be foolish

The librairy just has the history of the town, some books on the history of the nation, some fiction and folklore books, basic how to manuals and assorted other books.

Southern Cross Nemesis Kowsauni I was toying around with the idea of possibly making a summoner for this campaign. However their Eidolons that they summon naturally have darkvision. Will that be alright? I don't like the idea of darkvision... mostly, because... it eliminates a factor... *rolls a perception check... * Dm: Dammit!! you see the monster, that was trying to sneak up on you... coming... how ever, I am willing to give you bonus evolution points to take care of the darkvision. Then use monsters that can actually sneak. It seems silly to me to limit the players so seriously just for the sake of one form of "fear". You dont need concealment to sneak up on something.
Hell some of the scariest things in fictions are the things you CAN see. But its your game so *shrug*.

I am well aware, and I don't see it as much of a limit. Not being able to see at night, just means the person has to adjust their characters. (Example, carry torches, or scrolls of light.) It is about as limiting as saying no to endure elements.
Edit: this goes to the other post... the part of hitpoints is a homebrew idea(stolen form another game)

Southern Cross Nemesis purest_heart Okay I'm confused on Pathfinder rules... Never really used this system before. What's this about Hit dice? If you want to play something more familiar, like a Duskblade(ph2, I believe), because the classes changed somewhat, I will allow you to make a similar change. Example, Many of the classes got an increase in Hit dice(the size of the dice used to determine hp... Wizards and Sorcerers had d4's where a barbarian and Knight had d12's) No I'm feeling much to ninja/rougish once seeing the custom feats for kitsune. Had planned on a Catfolk Gunsligger but then saw the Kitsune.
I'm just wondering what you mean by the OP for Hitdice. we we get an extra one or?
