She looked at the man, "You yourself said you were to be exterminated down to the last man, woman, and child. And no, I would not have you turn tail and run. I know it is against anything you could possibly stand for." Although like most Scorpions, she believed it idiotic.
"I don't even know of any magic that could harm that many in a single day but I have not studied spellcraft of any kind. " For Miyako if she couldn't explain it or ferret it out, it was magic, whether in truth or not. "And no, if the girl is still here, she was already among you when I first woke, but then she was gone..."It wasn't often that Miyako was moved to great sympathy, but she had liked the two girls and no one had shown her any cruelty of their own and she felt somewhat fond of the people here even if they were to...
Suddenly, she couldn't take the stress. If it was something that had been planned for the 'good of the empire' she could have maybe understood, but why bring her back only to watch it happen again. She was going to die here and nothing she could do would help it. If it was an enemy to fight she could have....
Thinking this was probably the stupidest thing she'd ever do...
"Is there any chance I could meet this Dragon shugenja before long?"

The magistrate eased back in his chair. "So thou dost not know what is to happen then; thou art merely speculating." Ninsei would remain quiet for a short while.
"Could thou describe the girl? In case she shows up once again."
After Miyako's response, he would weigh her question in her mind.
"I can taketh thee to see him, yes. I can do so now, if it pleases thee."

"It is merely things you hear around court. Nothing is certain but uncertainity, no?" She sighed, wishing she knew more or could help more but at least this she could do. She described the girl as best she was able, from the dress to the pigtails.
"Yes, I think that might be best." She smiled weakly, "I can only hope that I am wrong and things may be settled peacefully."

A concerned look would now mar Ninsei's face, upon the description. "What dost thou mean she's 'gone'? That sounds a lot like Omiko-sama!"
Standing suddenly, knocking his chair back, he seems uncertain about going for his blade. "Hath anything happened to her?!"
Uh-oh.

"I...uh..." She tensed up, not sure if she was about to meet her end even sooner. "She was at the fountain, but I wasn't sure she was even real and then she was gone...as if a ghost. At least the girl I thought I saw looked as such."She really was at a loss with no idea what was going on. Miko? Sama? A priestess that looked that young? Miyako was completely confused.

"Last I checked, Omiko-sama was alive and well, and not a ghost. I saw her naught but this very morn. Nary any harm shalt cometh to our lord, nor his sister."
He still looked a bit uneasy and agitated, but he did not draw his blade, not yet. "Taketh me to where thou saw this 'ghost' last," he would order Miyako.

First one order, than another. It wasn't as though she could really do something about it though, was there? Sighing, although frustrated, she stood and lead him back to the spot where she'd seen the girl this morning when the crowd had been around her as best she was able and once again described the girl and everything she remembered about the situation.

Ninsei would look around, not seeing any sign of the girl. Though, stopping to ask some merchants, this would be caught as conversation:
"Hath Omiko-sama been hither?"
"No, my lord, not recently. She was hither earlier though, when everyone was gawking at the samurai who appeared out of thin air, my lord."
"I see. Whither she hath gone, then?"
"I believe I saw her heading towards the castle, magistrate-sama."
"Was she well?"
"I beg pardon, my lord?"
"Was Omiko-sama well? Didst she look injured or ailing?"
"Ah, no, my lord. She looked as healthy as thee or I."
"Thank you, you have eased my spirits. Fortunes bless you."
"It was an honor to assist you, magistrate-sama."
Walking back over to Miyako, Ninsei would address her now. "I'm not sure what ye thought thou saw, but my lady is well it seems, and I assure thee, not a ghost. I can take thee to the castle now, whither she and thy mysterious Dragon hath gone."
Does Miyako have any objections, or anything to say in her defense about what she saw? Ninsei is trying not to come off as condescending, but you can still sense he thinks you might be a wee touched.

Miyako wasn't so sure he wasn't right, she felt a wee bit touched. After all, she'd...Composure, she reminded herself. If she was going to die, she might as well give as much honor as she could in what way she could. "I didn't say she was a ghost. Just that she was there one moment and then gone the next. Like a ghost." or a warning, she thought mentally thinking about some of her father's superstitions.
If what she had seen was a ghost, Miyako wondered what she had done to gain her wrath, well, other than running away from her. "May I meet her? So that I may know for sure if I am touched or not? I mean no harm. I seek only to understand."

Heichi Ninsei would pause only for a brief moment to consider Miyako's words.
"Aye, as long as thou sticketh by me, there shant be nary a reason why that would not be acceptable. Cometh wit me, Shosuro-san." Ninsei would turn, and begin leading Miyako towards the Boar Clan's castle...
Assuming you have nothing you want to do between now and then, the two of you would arrive at the castle without incident.
As Miyako and Ninsei approached the gate, they would see two people leaving the castle, stepping through the massive doorway and coming into earshot.
"Praise thee again, Agasha-san. Thy arrival and desire to help may be what saves my people." This was spoken by a young man, at least 5 years younger than Miyako, if not more. Practically a child, and definitely not long out of his gempukku, he still wore a rather regal kimono, decorated with regalia that identified him as the daimyo of the Boar Clan. Something rather absurd, and nothing Miyako has ever heard of happening, so the possibility that this was in jest was not out of the question. Many of the Boar had admirable physiques, but this boy was, without a doubt, a squirt.
"It twas an honor to extend the friendship and aid of the Dragon Clan in thy time of need," the other man explained, donning priestly robes of the colors of the Dragon Clan. He had a long face with powerful features, and slightly sunken dark eyes, accentuated by his short hair tied tight into a topknot.
"Well, we - oh, Ninsei-san! Who hath you brought before me? Do we hath a delegate from the Scorpion as well?" the boy would ask his magistrate, turning to face Miyako, arms on his hips dramatically, unbowing in his posture or stature.
The Dragon would look to Miyako with a bit of surprise, before crossing his arms and bowing his head, saying nothing.
"I am not sure, my lord. She very well might be," Ninsei would respond, bowing his head and stepping aside to allow you a chance to introduce yourself and react accordingly.

Miyako started to speak, to try and explain her so very impossible situation and found it so very impossible. "I am of the Scorpion but I..." and with a faint look of horror crossing her face as her eyes rolled back in her head and she crumpled to the ground, faint.

"This woman art... oh!" Ninsei started to say when Miyako took her fall. She would get the sense that at least one of the people here made a move to catch her, but a little too late.
"Ninsei-san, what is the meaning of this?" the Daimyo would announce, seemingly not moved by Miyako's plight.
"I... I dost not know, my lord!" A pair of arms would scoop up Miyako's upper half. "We shouldst get her to..."
"Give her to me; I canst treat her. Honorable Ninsei-san, fetcheth me some water from thy clan's spring."
"At once, Agasha-sama." Miyako would be exchanged from one pair of hands to another, and she would be lifted off the ground.
"By thy leave, my lord," the Dragon would say, much closer now.
"Yes, yes. I wilt be in my chambers. I haveth no time for this." The very young man's footfalls would grow distant, as would another pairs. Miyako would soon feel herself being carried in a different direction.
Miyako, do you do anything to interrupt this at any point, or do you allow your transportation away?

She would be carried for a few minutes, and she would hear the whispered words of Heichi samurai and peasants throughout the city as they went. Soon, Ninsei would apparently return, his voice audible. "Here, I doth managed to draft a pitcher of spring water for her, as thou requested, Agasha-sama."
"Thou hast my thanks. Now, leave us; I wilt attend to her, so she may share what vital news she hast brought with her."
After a brief farewell, Miyako would be brought inside a building with people occupying it who quickly fell silent, before picking up again as the Dragon brought Miyako up some stairs, a second pair of footsteps not far behind.
She would soon find herself laid out upon a futon, and the sounds of a container of liquid would sound as it was placed upon the table. A pair of footsteps would sound as they left, the door sliding closed behind.
At this point, there would be some shuffling going on, but no more verbal cues to go off of. Does Miyako remain in her pretend state of unconsciousness?
