"Well...after this..." Thane started.

"...I don't think there is much to say, I mean it seems wrong to now say what we were going to given the circumstances" Sayako continued "but in other happier news, Lenore is having a barbecue, care to come for dinner tonight? Lenore thought it might be nice, given what happened a few weeks ago and what not to just have a nice dinner, will be the last one till christmas so..." she said, hoping they wouldn't say no.

"That sounds best" he said as he looked out to the lake, wondering how long they will be, not wishing to rush them of course just...well, he and Sayako were going out for a few hours today and they wanted to get going so...

An hour later Oliver and Odessa walked back into the cave and sat down in front of the others "hi" she said, having calmed down a lot since starting to talk to Oliver "well...I think everything is sorted..." she said as she picked the pup up and walked over to her bed, Thane and Sayako getting up and moving away from the bed as she and Oliver laid down on the bed, Oliver snuggled closer to her. "darling..." she prompted him.

Oliver looked up, eyes brimming with tears but he blinked them back, the information having had time to settle in his mind "I hated being lied to, anyone would have but I do understand why you did it, I may be forever a perma pup but I have learnt some things that have made me mature even if I won't ever actually grow" he said as he sighed "but while Aunt Sayako has done a good job with taking care of me I do need and want a stable home, my life with Aunt Sayako was not ever going to be a permanent one, my mother was going to come back for me but given what has happened she cant. So I will stay here, with Gersif and Odessa, accepting them as my parents, of course, like you said, Aunt Sayako, they can never take the place of my parents but, so far, they have done a good job at raising me...well, as much as they can anyway, I can't just ignore that" he said as he snuggled back against Odessa "so, if they still want me" he said looking up at Gersif and Odessa "can I stay?"

"Do you need to ask?" Odessa said as she nuzzled the pup "I don't want to take the place of your mother and Gersif doesn't want to take the place of your father but, I promise, we will carrying on loving you no matter what, you are ours now and we will never forget your parents, they will always be mentioned around here, from here on out you will forever be our son" she said as she licked the pups cheek.

"Thankk you..." Oliver said, about to carry on when Electra walked in.

Electra walked in moments later "hi, don't mean to break up the little love feast going on here but Morpheus and Calliope have made a choice" she said as she smiled at the others.

"How do you know that? You are not even near the rings..." Odessa said as she looked at her sister.

"One other thing that has been happening lately is her appearing in my dreams, no idea how, I guess since I have such a close connection to you, Odessa, the wearer of her ring, that I have now had her showing up in my dreams, anyway from the last several dreams I have been getting and the one I just woke up from, it seems Calliope and Morpheus have made a choice" she said, assuming it was alright to speak their names since technically Oliver wouldn't know who they were talking about.

"I don't think I should say that, this is their choice..."

"Er...Electra, if you haven't realised, YOU are the one who can speak to spirits, you HAVE to tell us, they can't" Odessa said to her sister.

"Well yes, I know that, Dessa, but given they have made their mind up yet some what still discussing things, I best wait till they tell me what to say" she said as she walked over and nuzzled Oliver "so how are you?" She asked smiling at him.

"Good!" He said as he grinned up at Electra.

"Where are we to do this?" She asked, looking at Electra.

"They want to stay around till your babies are born, congrats by the way and why didn't you tell me!" She said, not sure how Calliope knew this, guess it was some ghost thing, being they were not of this world perhaps they can tell of future events happening in the livings lives but, of course, don't say anything unless they really needed to.

"Gersif just found out, I had to tell the father first!" She said as she walked over and licked her sisters cheek "and I guess we can do that, not sure when they will be coming but we can wait" she said as she looked over at Thane and Sayako who was looking at each other and then back at the others, wondering what on earth they were talking about.

"Umm guys, please fill us in? What do you mean 'where are we to do this...?'" Thane asked curiously.

"And Calliope and Morpheus have made up their mind...? Their dead, I don't think 'making up their mind' can happen anymore..." Sayako said as she tried to figure out the cryptic conversation those three were having.

Electra looked at Odessa to see that she nodded, meaning she could go on with what she wanted to say and stepped forward "they are dead, I can confirm that, those rings you two once owned helped keep their spirits here, they have been around ever since they died, of course Morpheus has been around longer but that is besides the point, you two just didn't know it but they have been by your sides ever since and since Oliver has been with Miss Sayako then Calliope has been able to watch him and be by his side even though he new knew it."

Sayako was in shocked for a few moments before the tears became too strong and biting them back was not able to be done anymore "s...she and Morpheus are here?" She asked, looking at Thane.

Thane nuzzled Sayako, eyes brimming with tears as well but he just hid them in amongst the nuzzle he was giving Sayako.

"Yes, they are and believe me, the way they are talking about you two I will be telling you what they want to tell you for the next six months at least, both Morpheus and Calliope are dying...er...bad choice of word, my apologies, to talk to you again" she said, smiling at them.

"Sayako looked up "please, excuse me" she said as she left the cave, wanting some time to process this.

Thane smiled at the others and left them, he thought it best to follow Calliope and also have time out.

Oliver watched the other two go and looked back down at the ground, thinking about his time with Aunt Sayako and then looked back "then...then that would explain why I always felt at home there, I loved being there regardless, it was my home away from home and I accepted it and Aunt Sayako and I had fun and everything but there was always something in that cave that just made me feel, and this is going to sound corny, extra warm and fuzzy, I could never quite put my paw on it but there was something about that cave that just made me love being there more, like a familiar sort of feeling, like I was home even though I knew I technically wasn't, it must have been mama's spirit..." he said, looking at Electra and then at his parents.

"Could have been" Electra said before looking at Odessa and Gersif "so you finally told him..." she said softly as Odessa nodded "though he sorta found out himself, walked in on Thane and Sayako speaking."

"Ahh, I see" Electra said as she got closer to the pup and nuzzled him "you know, Oliver, you have two awesome parents, they really couldn't be prouder of you and love you so much, the rings may have been what kept them here but it was also you, they didn't want to leave their beautiful son yet, they just were not ready to give you up yet and so they stayed to watch out for you" she said as licked the pups cheek.

Oliver looked at Electra, tears silently starting to fall down his face as he buried his face into her, he was slowly starting to realise what he had actually lost, he was told they died and accepted it but the reality of it all was starting to finally hit him.

Oliver got up and said nothing and just left, right now, if he should be with anyone it was Sayako and Thane, they knew him better then Odessa and Gersif did, sure he accepted them, for the most part, to now be his parents but still this was a massive thing for him, right now he just felt he should be around his Aunt and Uncle.

Electra was about to take after Oliver, wanting to be there for him if he needed her but before should leave Odessa grabbed her tail to stop her, shaking her head before letting her tail drop "Electra, honey, please, leave him for a little bit, he...they need to let this sink in" Odessa said as smiled somberly at her sister and walked up and nuzzled her "it will be alright, just let them have time by themselves".

Electra sighed and nuzzled her sister "alright" she said softly as she waited for his and the others return.

Odessa hated the fact she had to let him go but what could she do? She and Gersif lied about being his parents and now with this she knew she shouldn't follow and wasn't going to but still she did so much want to go after him "Gersif..." she said softly as she looked at him and sighed, looking at the cave entrance, now all they could do is wait.

Electra was watched Morpheus and Calliope near by, they had seen everything, obviously, and was gesturing for Electra to follow, she had to do something but not sure if she should, she looked at Odessa and Gersif "Dessa, Gersif, I need to do something for Morpheus and Calliope, I'm sorry, but they want me to follow them" she said as she took the rings off both her sister and Gersif and placed them on herself and nuzzled her sister "I will be back soon" she said as she licked her sisters cheek and looked at Gersif "take care of her" she said, knowing it seemed like a silly thing to say but if she knew her sister she will be in tears before long "back soon, promise" she said as she took off out of the cave, guided by Morpheus and Calliope.

Odessa wasn't going to cry, she was going to stay strong, this was only a waiting game, nothing wrong with that, but yet, as tears started falling down her cheeks, why did she think that not only were they going to lose Oliver but this might just make matters worse as well? She didn't know how but a part of her just felt like she and Gersif were going to end up getting the worse out of this, of course it was Calliope and Morpheus's say so, its their son, but still a part of her just didn't feel like staying around for the execution date "I...I need to go out..." she said as she ran out of the cave, deciding to head to the cave her mother and father were living in at this present time. Odessa wasn't in the mood for her fathers cold shoulder routine but still, right now, she just wanted to crawl up beside him, like she did when she was a child and just snuggle into him, let him protect her like he did when she was a child...well, after the 3rd degree lecture she got which, in some cases one would say was counter productive when he just cuddled her but meh, her family life was a complicated one but right now she just wanted her daddy, sure he may be harsh and will probably be judgemental but she also knew he cared and would be happy to snuggle into her, he always was, it was what made getting reprimanded by him not so bad, at least she knew he cared and loved her even if he was gruff and right now she just wanted to hide away from the world for a few moments, just pretend she wasn't stuck with the responsabilities that life was throwing at her, she will go back to being an adult but right now, she just wanted her daddy to look after her again, like he did when she was a child.

Odessa heard but didn't stop, it was always like this, when life got hard she rand back home to daddy, can she survivew on her own? Yes, of course she could but sometimes she just didn't want to, she wanted to just be the little girl she never truly got to be...well, sorta, it WAS her choice to move out of home at a young age of course but still, she just wanted to cuddle up with her father which was why she was now heading in the direction of the cave they had taken to 'owning' for a bit that was just near by.

"Odessa?" Her mother said to her as she ran by, on her way to see her daughter.

Odessa ignored her and ran into the cave and ran straight to her father and lad down in front of him and nuzzled him "daddy..." she said as she cried a little harder and cnuggled in closer to him.

"Darling, whats wrong?" He asked, nuzzling his daughter "whats life done to you now?" He asked, knowing it was common but now, since she was pregnant, he decided to leave off the cold shoulder routine and just act like a 'normal' father towards her for once.

Odessa sighed and tried to stop herself from crying but couldn't and retold the sorry tale.

Cassandra started back to the cave, deciding to see what was going on.

Cassandra saw this and yet ignored it, she had several other visions today so this one wasn't 'important', yes it was to an extent but when you see a kitsu hanging from a cliff you make that more important then your daughters problems "I saw this but admitedly I ignored it, I had several other visions today with one showing a Kitsu having fallen off a cliff and hanging on for dear life, I had to save that kitsu first before it happened and after that came 'Dessa's vision which, as I said, ignored. But s for my daughter I suggest leaving her." She said with a sigh "when she was a child she moved out of home and sort of didn't have a childhood, she had to grow up fast and so now, whilst she is able to survive on her own some things she can't do, take dealing with emotional stuff, as a child you run to your mother or father if something bad happens and it upsets you, she never had that, so now that shes older and has proven to her father that she can live on her own and survive without him and he accepts that she knows she can now go back home and curl up next to him and he will make everything alright...to an extent and he will take care of her and comfort her, judge her at times but still, comfort her.

I wish I can say go comfort her but you can't, no one can, even I can't, whenever she gets upset she wants her father and that is who she gets, she now has to learn to be able to have confidence in others and go to others if need be but to her, she can't accept that, she wants to be take shelter with her father, they may have a complex relationship but at the end of the day he will always be there to comfort her and talk her through things etc if need be" she said as she sat down and looked at him "is Oli alright?" She asked, deciding to finally ask about him, she was worried about him, sure, but as her mother, she had to explain about Odessa first.

"You will be waiting a while for that to happen, I have been watching and waiting years for that to happen and I haven't gotten it and besides that, as much as I would like to tell you it will happen, it won't, you may be the father of her children but that doesn't mean she actually LIKES you likes you and even if she did that still doesn't mean she will turn to you" she said looking back at the cave and sighed and then looked back at him. "Unless you are her father, she will never turn to anyone else" she said, knowing the relationship between this father and daughter was a strange and complex one but also knew that her father loved her very much, regardless of all the judging comments he places on her, she knew she would never be able to compete with that.
