Disciple of Sakura What books are available to draw from, actually? Any 3.5e book is ok BUT if it is one of the out there ones I may not know please tell me so I can look over it.

Here comes the fun part. Step one Wep. proficiency Firearms Not just pistols (Unless you wish to narrow it down) Step two What kind of pistol? (Basic is 1d6) We have a R&D department and if that is something that would interest you then we can use your special item to upgrade it. And three I see a Wep but nothing for the free armor and free special or a history *not required but enjoyed* May also of overlooked em

Since Truenamers cant use armor and I'm not interested in much of a special item, so can I simply upgrade bullet damage? And I'm willing to limit the Weapon proficiency to just pistols, because I don't see him using muskets or rifles.
As for his history, I'll work on it, but I wanted to ask if the Church would hunt down Truenamers.

And I doubt it. They would look at them the same as the R&D department. Useful but to be watched. Research into the wrong area *say reanimation in R&D* would be punished. But on a whole you would be suported.

How about rather than it using an larger than average barrel, the bullets are of an alchemical design? So that they either explode on contact with an enemy (doing fire damage instead) or they're spiked after launch (Lowers the Attack Bonus, but increases damage)?

I'm gonna lower the damage to 1d8, but make it fire damage. It'll be a gun of his making, called the Firebird.
