I can't say I remember it. But I've watched a few documentaries and my heart goes out to the brave courageous people who were in the towers. R.I.P. to all those who had died in the horrible event. heart

I remember I was in my 4th grade class when an announcement came on over the intercom telling all the teachers to turn their tvs on. We immediately went into lock down mode. I didn't understand what was happening (I had never even heard of the twin towers) but everybody seemed so upset. I don't remember much from that point in my life, but I can remember this like it was just yesterday.
R.I.P all those lost in the Attack

If you could go back in time to the day before or the day of 9/11; is there anything you would do or change? And if 9/11 didn't happen what would our nation be like today? Would we be any better as a nation? Would we have all come together over some greater tragedy? Would those lost still be alive? These are the questions I'm asking myself as me and my mom watch the rebuilding of the twin towers on the Science Channel

A day before, my best friend showed me a picture of her older cousin; with a great view of the twin towers in the back ground. The picture was perfect, in a sense that the model was smiling and the bystander's in the picture were either just heading off to work or just fooling around. The Twin tower's were also in the picture, it looked beautiful and almost seemed to glow when the sun reflected on it.
.The next day, I was at home just watching TV when my mother rushed into the living room and passed the channel too the news. I remember seeing a LIVE clip of the tower's collapsing, running bystander's and just smoke; I cried because wasn't this the same tower i saw yesterday? people smiling and heading off to work? It was saddening and I was deeply hurt, wondering who could do such a thing too all these innocent people. Back then I did have a lot of unanswered question's, still have a bit today;
My heart goes out too all the families and friend's that did survive and I thank god that you are safe. My heart also goes out too the people who did not make it, you are greatly missed and will never be forgotten. RIP

I don't remember anything about 9/11 due to that fact that I was only 4 and a half at the time. But back them one of my mom's cousins was up in one of the towers where one of the planes hit. He died. And also back then I was living in long island, and my dad was a cop. He had just gotten home after a few days of work, and my mom and I were watching the towers on TV. I see my dad walk in and I say "Daddy do something." He gives me and my mom one last goodbye then heads back into the city. Thank god he didn't get hurt. And I am alse very glad that he is still with me today.

I remember being in the 6th grade during my English class when my teacher turned on the T.V. and 20 kids watched a plane slam right into the side of the 2nd tower. Honestly, at that age, I didn't understand what was going on...I knew that people where being hurt, killed. We didn't get shown the explicit things, like people falling to their deaths. It was and still is a sad day.
My heart goes out too all the families and friend's that did survive and I thank god that you are safe. My heart also goes out too the people who did not make it, you are greatly missed and will never be forgotten. RIP

I sort of remember this happening, at the time, i was only six years old & just got home from primary school and i remember my mum telling me what she saw on the the news.. she said she was watching neighbours and then the news came on and she saw all the awful things that happened.. people jumping out of the towers on fire... then she even saw the 2nd hijacked plane flying into the second tower.. it was terrible ): she was so upset & I don't think any of us will ever forget the terrible things that happened that day.
My heart goes out to all the families who have lost loved ones and relations.
Rest in peace. heart

I was on my way back from a church event but decided to stop in on my family home. My dad and older brother were home early when we were watching the news I wondered where was my mom and boyfriend...? When both got home later I finally cried - for those who were lost and for those I was lucky enough to come home crying
