"Ugh are you kidding me.." Viral said distastefully.
She stood partially behind one of the four, where her hand unseeingly pulled the double-bladed dagger from its sheath.
Her stealthy movement wasn't necessary however, as all of a sudden a chaos broke out. The dogs charged at them, their canines bared and snapping with ferocious barks.
With a few quick swipes, Viral sliced through two of the dogs-- the injuries enough to leave them immobile for the while. The hostile action caused the guards to withdraw their weapons and tasers, but Viral was already headed for them before they reacted.
The first to meet her path received a stab to the chest and fell to the ground almost immediately. She threw her weapon back into its sheath without a moments rest, and quickly moved out of the way as shots were fired.
She hoped the team would be able to at least knock most of the threat out and then escape before backup were to be called.

Two dogs raced towards Micheal. As soon as they were about to strike, he launched two fire balls from the palms of his hand that him them in the face and sent them flying back wards.
Hatchet was being shot at by two guards. he dodged most of the bullets but some were managed to graze him. Then he charged them and grabbed them both by the throat. He picked them up and slammed then into the ground.
Amanda had two dogs snarling and barking at her, and cornering her into a tree. With quick thinking, she used her magic to jinx them. They fell to the ground whimpering and they got up and ran away.
Andrea was being assaulted by three guards who were shooting at her. She dodged the bullets but one grazed her on the cheek. The mark on her neck was causing her extreme pain, but she knew she had to keep fight if she was ever to get out of here. She concentrated her energy to the center of her body. then with all the strength she had left, she sent out a shock wave of dark energy that sent the guards flying into a tree. They fell to the ground unconscious.

The prison guards and dogs were down.
"Run!" exclaimed Viral, hopping away from the fallen enemy for a moment before taking her own commands.
The grounds outside the prison were wide and barren, but if they got far enough in time, the group could reach the urban maze that is the city and hide more easily. They're priority now was returning to the Hive headquarters.
"Is everyone alright?" she asked as they ran.

"Everyone seems to be ok, just a little bruised up." said Micheal. He turned around to check up on Andrea who he noticed was lagging behind. "are you ok?" he asked with concern. She was breathing heavily and clutching her neck where the mark was. "...yeah...I'm..fi.." before she could managed to finish, she collapsed to the ground. Micheal and the others rushed towards her, trying to help. As Micheal was trying to find what was wrong, he saw the mark on her neck was pulsing a purple glow and the skin around the mark was turning black.

Viral joined them in moments time and also noticed the marking as it glowed and changed color.
"What is that" she asked between breaths, her eyes scanning both the mark and the prison grounds in case the guard's backup team was arriving.

Andrea groaned in pain. "I don't know, but we need to get back to headquarter fast." said Micheal. Hatchet offered to carry her. He picked her up and carried her on his back, piggyback style. "c'mon, let's go." said Micheal.

Viral nodded.
"Right."
They turned and ran for the outskirts of the prison grounds, growing closer and closer to the city, until at last they reached the borders. A large fence separated the field they just travelled across and the sidewalk.
Viral withdrew her dagger and cut through the links. Sparks reflected off the edge of the adamantium and kryptonite blade.
"Careful now, theres a current running through these links" she warned. The hole she cut was of a generous size.
((would Cube prison be located on its separate island? lol just for escape-sake lets pretend its not))

They managed to fit through th hole without being shocked, but Andrea had to be let down for Hatchet to fit. He passed Andrea to Micheal, and when he got through he put Andrea back on his back.

Once through Viral thought whether or not to slow their pace.
They already looked suspicious; why, with four of them dressed in prison clothing. Someone must have also seen them cut through the fence.
"The Hive is across this city" she stated, wondering if they-- including herself-- had the stamina to run the distance.
Travel by subway would have been an option if any of them had the spare change.
Viral hadn't grown familiar with the entirety of this city yet; but she figured it be just like any other. A grid.
"Follow me" she said, crossing the street and running further into the city.
"We'll reach the Hive soon" she added reassuringly.

They followed Viral as she instructed. "I know we didn't have time back at the prison, but who are you?" asked Amanda as they ran along.

"I belong to the Hive. I'm.. new I guess you can say. My name i Viral" she replied, her response a little shaky as she breathed between strides.
"Our headmaster sent me to rescue you all from the Cube. It's been very quiet at the Hive because of your absence" she added, turning at the next block and the continuing forward.
"I don't know much about you guys myself, so do you mind telling me your names as well?"
Viral had only known which cells to go to thanks to the mapping device she aquired from the Tech lab.

"I'm Amanda, I'm also known as Silver. You know, cause my hair is silver." she said. "I'm Micheal, aka Scorge. Thats Hatchet, he doesn't talk much. And on his back is Andrea, aka Dark Mist." said Micheal.

"You're all buddies, I assume" she said, looking back at the four. They seemed to carry themselves a similar way.
She wondered what sort of powers they each had. The one called Hatchet, no doubt, had some sort of strength superpower, while Michael had some gift with fire. One of the girls she remembered performed some type of move against the guards that she did not understand. She was curious to know what they were capable of.
But perhaps that could wait.
In time, they arrived closer to their destination.
Viral was tempted to rob a corner deli of their water, but the robery would only attract more unwanted attention from the police.

Viral glanced at the girl that was being carried by Hatchet.
Her eyes then went back to Amanda.
"Why do you say that?" It was her version of saying 'what happened?'.
