The man smirked, watching Zelda closely with his crimson eyes. She and her little sister didn't look like Zelda, but their faces were still shaped the same, they had the same height... He stood up and followed them.

The figure sensed the darkness rising. It was a good feeling, as destruction usually followed. But that isn't what awoke him. He sensed light trying to get in the way. He hated light. It was shaming, peacful, all the things he hated. It had to be stopped. He had to destroy all light.
Tenebre slowly rose, energy sparking through his armor. He lifted his giant greatsword, dark energy enemating from the blade. He then slammed into the ground, the great weight of the sword easily crumbling the stone beneath him. He raised his large, clawed right hand, as if trying to render the sky.
"Darkness, blood...come UNTO ME!!!"

Zelda held onto her cloak tightly, shuffling her feet a little. She too carried a small dagger, strapped to her ankle in her brown leather boots. Even though she wasn't extremely experienced in using it, it was enough to provide some comfort. Plus she had her magic. She was confident nothing terribly bad would happen to her today. "Great! I believe the bakery was just past the fountain down the East road, third from the corner." Her surroundings boosted her mood, giving her a fresh, happy feeling. It was a wonderful spring morning. Flowers bloomed in big heaps of yellow and lavender, trees sprouted their healthy green leaves, and the grass glistened with sparkling dew. It was a tad chilly and slightly foggy, but Zelda liked it that way. Much better than the blistering heat. "Shall we go now?" she asked.

Vaati was suddenly behind her. He pulled the cloak off her head. "Having breakfast today, Zelda?" He whispered into her ear as he touched her other cheek with a pale hand.

Sarrianna acted immediately. Her dagger was at Vaati's throat two seconds later, her grip on her dagger fierce. She hissed at him. "State your business, filth." Her blue eyes narrowed. "Before you have another mouth in your throat." Her tone serious, she suppressed the urge to kill Vaati right then and there.

That voice was all too familiar. Zelda whipped around fast, pulling out the hidden dagger. "It's two against one, Vaati. Did you think you'd win?" This wasn't how she wanted to spend her morning... But things just get in the way sometimes. "Don't even try to pull off anything. It is daylight, where others can see." She hissed.

"Do you think I would care who saw me?" Vaati snickered, charging a blast of energy between his fingertips. He fired it at Zelda, grazing her cheek before he charged another. "I think I have a chance."

Tenebre was outside the town already, looking for fresh blood. It had been years since he tasted it, along with fear. He lifted his greatsword, then pointed it at the wall. A sudden explosion occured, allowing him inside. He heard the screams of the townspeople. He didn't want a dramatic entrance, just wanted to hear the screams. "Scream, scream you dirty apes! Allow a being of higher standard take pleasure in your misery." His eyes glowed blood red, and he jumped high into the sky, then landed on the roof of a building, which was crushed instantly. He swung out his large free hand, grabbing a man and he squeezed, the man screaming for a long time as Tenebre increased the preassure until the man popped. Tenebre was filled with glee, looking for his next victim as he threw another blast of energy, taking in the screams of terror.

Zelda jumped away from the blast of energy, slipping the dagger back into her boot. "Two can play at that game, Vaati" She started up a ball of energy between her fingers, then stopped, startled at the screams of the citizens. Her citizens. In danger? This wasn't a good sign. "Vaati, what did you do?!" She yelled, charging up the energy ball again and shooting it at him. Midway, it split into four different spheres of eccentric energy, bouncing off trees, walls, and the grass before hurling themselves towards Vaati.

"I love how you automatically assume I did anything. I've been in front of you, or behind you, the whole time." Vaati explained as he whipped the wind around him, stopping the spheres before they could do any harm.

She glared at him as the spheres fell limp on the grass before dissolving into the soil. "I have a right to accuse you of what's happening. After all you've done in the past..." Zelda cringed at the memory of almost being wed to Vaati, "I think it's fair to say you're currently up to something."

Vaati laughed. A lot of the things he's done was for his amusement only. And he did have fun, until Link ruined it. "That was fun, wasn't it? Strangely enough, I've been behaving. Unless it's a crime to watch for you every morning." He shrugged, firing another sphere of energy at her.

Her hand became covered in a pale blue bubble as she lifted it up calmly, watching the energy bounce off it back to Vaati. "No, but it's a crime to attack a Hylian." She sent a few smaller energy balls towards him, one hitting his shoulder and exploding into purple and white sparks. Her cheek burned a little from where his attack succeeded, but she didn't care. She just wanted Vaati gone.

Tenebre felt energy being used somewhere nearby, and he turned to face it. He cut through another building with his heavy sword, then for fun tossed it gently at a person running by. The man was flattened by the extreme weight of the blade, and Tenebre laughed before picking up the sword and punching his way through a stone wall. He thought for a moment. He sensed dark energy beyond him. Maybe he should leave it alone for now. He turned, then send a large wave of darkness towards a cluster of buildings, fire and destruction being left. Just the way he liked it. "This place will be burned to the ground. It sickens me humans create things like a society! Its disgusting! Almost as bad as Love!"
