Lyssan smiles at him. "It's a tiny room that goes up and down, so people don't have to fly to a different floor, or climb the stairs."

Spying a pile of pillows off to one side out of the disaster area, she carries him there and helps him for himself a soft nest. "Why don't you and Kya stay over here while we clean things up a bit, kiddo. That what you can watch us work and if you get sleepy, go right ahead and take a nap. We'll try not to make too much noise."

Ame does much the same with Kyara, placing her in a small depression near Kero's head, so the two can talk if they wish. "And this time, I'll make that dang tree rock steady."

Kya giggles. "Buff it a twee, noff a rowk...."

Fairy dragons really aren't the world's best parents. True they tend to stick around their nests, but they are easily distracted. Therefore nature has given the tiny creatures a means to protect themselves from day one. Kyara endures his sniffing for all of about thirty seconds and when he won't listen to her and Lyssan or Ame don't respond instantly to her cries, she lands a sting right on the small dragon's nose.

Kyara tries to dodge the foul smelling substance, but it gets her anyway. Now that she is free though she makes a beeline to Enia and Lyssan. "Ennie... dat biwg meanie spit on me....."

Lyssan looks back at the pillow nest and runs to see what has Kero so upset. HIs nose is already swelling, fortunately it doesn't seem to be affecting his breathing, but it is a very close thing. "Kero, why did Kya sting you?" She asks picking him up and cuddling him close.

Enia is asking Kyara the very same from her end of the room.

Lyssan examines his nose as she carries him back towards the others. "I bet that hurts doesn't it" she croons.

"Kya says he wouldn't let her go even when she asked him to." says Enia as they get close. Kyara is hiding in her har, looking more like an expensive hair clip than a real live breathing being.

Lyssan frowns. "But Kero says she didn't say anything..."

Ame sighs and shakes his head. "Oh I know she said something... I heard her complaining while we worked, but you two were jabbering away at each other and I couldn't tell what it was. Kero, who's telling the truth here, kiddo. You or her... remember lying is bad, real bad, and you will get a time out if you tell one."

"No he nowt.... I say let me go and he no do it.... I cry wots too and he stiwl no do it... so I gots hiwm good. He bawd...." cries Kyara indignantly.

Lyssan sighs. "Kero isn't bad, dear heart, but he is awfully curious... and Kero, Ame told you to tell the truth. Are you telling us Kya is lying?"

"Very well, since this is a she said, he said sort of thing and since it is obvious both of you did something wrong... and yes, Kya, stinging someone when the grownups are within hearing range is bad... you will both be punished. Kero, I really don't now if you are telling the truth or not, but I pray you aren't... even so, you shouldn't have pinned her down in the first place. She's a great deal smaller than you. So, I'm placing you both on seperate pillows and you are to stay there until I say you can move... Is that clear?" says Lyssan sadly as she places Kero back on his pillow. Then taking a small one from the stack and moving it some distance away, she does the same for Kyara.

"Now we have to get this mess cleaned up so behave, both of you."

So Kero finds himself alone in his soft nest, his nose throbbing, and feeling rather ashamed of himself because Kya is crying herself to sleep.

"Weave me rone..." she hisses back turning away. "You.... you... meanie....."
