Dancing? I love dancing! I'm the dancemistress of my barony in the West. I'm currently teaching Villanella. I'm also in love with Gracca Amoroso, and I won my Pied d'Argent in with Gelosia. Unfortunately, I can't remember all the steps to Gelosia anymore, nor for Contrapasso (though we do it frequently at my mom's shire practice). Has anyone here ever done Furioso Nuovo?
As for English country, I love Black Alman, Grimstock (decapitation hay!), Rufty Tufty, Black Nag, and a number of others.
I wrote a paper last semester on 16th century Italian dance music for my music history class. Fun to research for!
