Edward walked up behind Winry with a large plate of food talking with his mouth full as he looked at Roy and Riza on the dance floor. "Philanderer that guy's ego knows no bounds I'll laugh if the lieutenant slaps him by the end of the night, she should be slapping him across the face right now." He swallowed with a loud gulp and smiled after exhaling a satisfied breath, "The Armstrong family really knows how to throw a party the food here is great, you should get some." Edward concentrated on his plate of food as a ploy to try and avoid the awkwardness of the dance floor, he never learned how to do any sort of dance, though in his defense he never had the time, but he knew full well he wouldn't be able to keep it up all night he didn't think Winry would allow it. Edward sat down next to Winry as he continued to stuff his face and watch every one else on the dance floor, he smiled as he watched Hughes dancing with his wife. "I guess the colonel isn't all bad though, he was able to bring Hughes back but if anyone ever quotes me on that I'll deny it!"

Closed her eyes, feeling how, Roy pressed his body against hers, passing her fingers throught his hair softly, she did not mind at all, in fact, feel his hand in her lower back, made chills ran over her body, Oh dear god...thought for herself, smiling, pressing the hand she was still holding " in that case you are not the only one in troubles...." whispered softly, the lights were low, giving the dance hall a beautiful romantic effect, with the hypnotic music...well...she couldnt help it, to let herself go, softly, dropped his hand, and rised it to place it over his chest, to were his heart was, sliding between her fingers the lapels of his tuxedo " I like dangerous grounds " whispered softly, but nope, that night was just starting, she smiled again sighing, rised her face, rubbing her nose with his neck, and in a tender, caress her lips too, some chills went throught her back, making her blush.

Ed rolled his eyes when he brought up dancing, "Really, I was hoping you would be too much of a tomboy gear head for that girl stuff, maybe later." Ed took another bite of his meal as she asked where Al was he shrugged his shoulders in reply and looked around a bit before washing down his food with a gulp of punch. "I don't know he's wondering around here somewhere..." He turned his attention back to the dance floor trying to think of a way he could get out of dancing. When she said she had to go to the bathroom he raised his brow slightly then fained disinterest, "Whatever, I'll be here," Ed shrugged his shoulders and took another bite of food as he looked around scanning the room for his brother.

Winry walks out of the bathroom. " Ed are you sure you don't want to dance?" Winry asked. "Its really easy! I could teach you!" She said. "But if you don't want to dance we could do something else." She said.

Scar kept his head down and entered the Armstrong Manor ballroom. He felt like an outsider being one of, if only the single Ishvalan there. And not to mention all the times he had tried to kill the other guests, and the ones he had killed. Those kinds of things kinda leave a memory in the ordinary person's skull. Sure they worked together but he still felt odd around State Alchemists.

"A walk sounds great, but lets go out into the courtyard, it looks like a nice night, the moon is nearly full the sky is clear I'll give you my blazer if its chilly out." Roy smiled and took her hand in his as he walked with her towards the courtyard. "Do you know what Hughes said to me tonight, he skipped the whole marriage speech and jumped right to telling me I need to start having kids so Elicia can have someone to play with." Roy smirked and looked to Riza, "He always thinks too far ahead back when he told me to find my self a wife he was telling me things too soon and now when it could be a better time to think about getting engaged he tells me to have kids. Hahaha he's still as crazy as ever." once they stepped out into the courtyard Roy sat down on the edge of the marble fountain. He glanced over his shoulder at the fountain than smirked as he looked back to Riza " This would be a really romantic spot if the fountain didn't look like a half naked Major Armstrong, hahah oh well it will have to do." Roy looked around the garden the soft pail light of the moon bathed the landscape in a silvery glow wile the electric golden light from the lamps around the court yard mixed with the light of the moon adding a warm glow as the reflected light from the rippling fountain cast a seres of dancing lights around the courtyard. "Theirs still a lot of work for us to do but I can relax a little, I may need some help getting used to this."

"You are not a burden" answered Rebecca softly, while she was helping him to dance, smiled to him, she wasnt going to ask, or try to know anything else, smiled more and said " is a wonderful night, and need to be enjoyed...dont you think? " changing the topic of their conversation " we all deserve it, including you..so no more bad thoughts ok?, I want to see you smile, and enjoy this party as much as possible " giggled " and tell me Jean....what do you do in your free time?..." asked softly.
