sry ppl but in my mind my link is gay with linebeck or with shad. I know the topic i posted was girl but i guess i should have put boy too lol cuz lets face it... sometimes our link can't be straight.

Hmm... difficult to say... In the newer Zelda games, Zelda seems to have the personality traits of motor oil, the same character trait of Ash from Pokemon... Not looking good...
Though, it OoT, she did appear far more human especially as a child... Even so, I'm going to say Midna. Why? For comical reasons mostly.
Picture this: Link is such a man whore that he's bound to slip up once or twice? Who's the only person who could possibly catch him in the act? The one who can hide in his shadow. She pops up out of there and kills Link and Malon in one fell swoop! XD
And I say Malon, not because I don't like her, but because that would be my second choice. I love the girl next door type... Of course, if that fails, I'll just take Malon off of Link's hands... XD

lol xD totally agree! That's just disturbing in SOO many ways! I don't even want to picture it! He's like, tall with an awesome mustache and so . . . Linebackish. It's just gross lol

Actually, I don't mind Link being gay all that much...
(I've had my suspicions because he rescues damsels in distress all the time and never even thinks about kissing them or anything! I mean in A Link to the Past he rescues seven maidens and they're just like: "Okay, thanks for saving me... I'm off to the end of the game, see you there!" XD)

I honestly think that Link showed the most feelings for Zelda but mostly in Ocarina of Time (and some other game titles), though. Link couldn't stop thinking about her since he first got the Master Sword. And it's as if he wasn't conquering each temple to save Hyrule, but, for Zelda. I mean some of the characters in the game even noticed it, like Ruto and Malon (read the manga please). AND did you noticed that if you look in the back of the Ocarina of Time instruction booklet, you're going to see a picture of ONLY young Link and Zelda sitting together.
The creators of The Legend of Zelda are actually fond of the Link and Zelda pairing, evidences are of the interviews and some exposure throughout the games, MANGA, and of course, the cartoon.
I personally think that the creators are also doing that to make us fans debate over this topic or so. But one thing for sure that I know is that we all love The Legend of Zelda... and that we should focus more on the plot than the canon pair for Link. :]

Zelda is not a Dating sim or a Love Game! Its a Fantasy Action Adventure. We don't play the game to woo girls we play it to explore the wonders of the world the game offers. And unlike other games the story of Zelda is left up to the players to translate. Nothing is said clearly. So it will almost always create different opinions just because all possibilities are welcome. And that's exactly what Nintendo wants!

i definatly think that zelda and link shoukd get together cause they have the most histroy and linebeck eek are u kidding me hes a lazy freak who has others do work for him and doesnt even care for link and no i dont mind if links gay but link should never go with linebeck

of course inh TP it should be Illia. but im confused when it comes to some other ones. i mean... if ALL the links were related.. who were their parents... and their parents... and theirs? pretty much it looks like only one game could be that zelda and link get together, but then again... link is probably the type who never settles down (especially OoT cuz he never came back in the beginning of Ww... thus begins the destruction of hyrule there.) but who knows? romance has never reall been a subject in zelda games that much...
