 x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira stared at the ground as she dug one of her toes into the dirt. It sounded like a fair trade, releasing him and then he helping her escape. It was true that he didn't seem to be needing her for anything else.
indentTwo words; Go Home. That jolted through her like someone had hit her with a lightning bolt. She stared wide eyed at the ground, horror present. She quivered slightly as her voice cracked slightly, "I don't have a home..."
indentindent" Home, family....they're all gone now... " (( Woot! I'm back! ...then leaving for another two days .___." ))

Katsu, somewhat surprised at her response was silent, no home, and she was alone, she had nobody for herself. He took a step forward and then paused, "...There is no way I would leave this human child alone...I have no choice...She is only a child...but If I take her...she could get into dangerous situations" Katsu was silent as he thought to himself. Finally his hand slowly moved out, his palm facing her, he held it slightly as his side, he made it clear that he was offering to take her with him. If anything, he would take her hand and help her find a home where she would be safe and well taken care of.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira stared at the ground, wondering what was going to happen next. Most of her felt like he was going to reject her, like everyone else did. But there was still some small thread of hope in her as she slowly looked up at Katsu.
indentShe blinked once, then twice. He was actually offering her to go with him! In the back of her mind, she knew she would most likely get into danger like what they had faced back there. But it was better then nothing, and she would finally have a companion besides the other kids on the streets who didn't bother to get to know each other.
indentShe reached her hand out hesitantly, scared as if he would withdraw

Katsu looked down and felt her small hand in his, he was silent for a moment, but he simply closed it and lead her as he began walking,"...Alright...lets head back to the Marketplace...we can get some food and then find a place to stay so we can get you cleaned up..." he said quietly. He looked up to the sky and then back to her,"...Its getting late...so lets get going..." he said calmly. He would look over the child for now, but what she said still rung in his head, and how she said it...how could she have no home? and she seemed so sad, no child deserved that. However he had to avoid showing too much affection to this human child, he did not want her to become too attached to him or vice versa.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira nodded her head as she walked with him, finding his pace to be a lot easier then back there during their escape. The sun was setting, and the air was slowly beginning to get a bit chilly. But the girl was already used to the cold nights.
indentAn involuntary tear rolled down her cheek, quickly rubbed away by her fist as she sniffed, "Why did they take us...we didn't do anything wrong...." She clenched her free hand into a fist as she pressed her lips tightly together. Crying meant weakness to her, and weakness meant that she would be taken advantage of. And it was a rather serious thing to be taken advantage of, in her eyes, especially out on the streets.

Katsu looked at her but quickly glanced back to the direction he was heading, pretending not to notice her stifled sobs. After that last escape, he knew why he was captured, but he was not about to tell the girl who he was, for all he knew, she still thought he was human. Katsu simply kept a steady pace as they headed to the marketplace,"...Some people dont have to do anything wrong....they were not people with good intentions...they may have wanted you for their own selfish reasons...don't think for a second you were responsible..." He said, trying to comfort her. Katsu did not know how long he would be accompanying her, but he was not about to let her feel guilty. Katsu lightly placed his free hand on her head,"...I can tell you are still pain...maybe not physically...but in your heart...you are safe now...If you want to let something out...don't be afraid....nobody will hurt you..." He said, taking his hand off and making his way to one of the shops.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira mumbled, almost inaudible after he was done speaking his first few lines, "Will they still come after us?" She fidgeted slightly, and stopped crying as she casted a paranoid look behind her.
indentShe fell even more silent at his last few words. Feeling him slip his hand off to go into a store, she remembered what she had stolen salvaged from that place where they escaped. Noting that his back was turned, she pulled the bag of gold from its hiding place.
indentTugging his arm lightly, not hard to hurt, but to get his attention, she offered the bag as she asked, "I didn't recall getting your name..."
indent" It does hurt...make it stop...I'm tired of holding it all in...... "

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu kept his pace as he answered the girl's question, he thought for a moment, realizing what he was doing,"....No....they won't..." he whispered. Letting his hand gently pat her back. He turned his attention for a moment as he pointed to some supplies and equipment, he directed him to some other items and then nodded as he brought them to the counter, they seemed to have everything he requested.
Akira seemed to want his attention, he turned to face the child to see a bag, as he took the pouch from her, a glint shined through it, it was gold, to his surprise, he nodded and answered her question,"...Its Katsu...and what is yours child?" he asked calmly, handing a small amount of gold to the merchant to finish the exchange.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentRelived, she loosened up a lot. "Akira, Akira Kusabane," came the reply. Akira was interested in what he bought, but decided not to seem too edgy as she cast a glance at the counter.

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Kojiro nodded,"...Akira...that's a nice name..." he said softly, unsure how shook up the girl still was, He gathered his supplies and bit the merchant farewell. He began to turn around and then glanced at the girl, catching her peeking in the bag, he looked back to the Marketplace pretending not to notice and closed the bag, but couldn't help but smile inwardly at the child's curiosity. He looked around and a small building caught his eye,"....Alright...lets get you somewhere to rest...." he said simply.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira backed away as he closed the bag as she looked around at her surroundings. Was this even her town? It seemed as if suddenly everything and everyone was different. She didn't like it. She hated the idea of being lost somewhere in the big wide world. Katsu's words brought her out of her thoughts as she "Rest...ah! There's an inn over there." She said, pointing at a building.

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu looked over to the inn, he nodded, "perfect...lets head inside, Its getting dark..." he said simply, he stepped forward and headed towards the building. He kept silent as lowered his hand again, offering to take the girls hand and lead her along, He realized he was beginning to Diverge from his original goal, he made a note to find a home for the girl first thing in the morning. He looked up to the dark sky and simply sighed,"....Have I become weak?...why do I have such gentle mercy for this child...I had only one goal....and yet...I cannot simply abandon her..." He thought to himself.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira walked along as she took his hand, smiling softly to herself as she swung her free hand back and forth. Unknowingly, she started humming lightly to herself a random song as she walked along and into the inn. It was a rather warm and cozy place and the receptionist also greeted them kindly.

Katsu kept walking with a stern face again, as he entered the Inn the receptionist kindly greeted them. Katsu began to barter with the receptionist.
Katsu simply sighed,"...It will be only me and this child...what rooms do you have at the moment?" The receptionist simply smiled,"...We have one room with two beds available!...that will be 120 Gilda" Katsu grimaced,"...W-well...we do not actually have Gilda...you see..." He pulled out some gold from the pouch, he remembered he made an exchange with the Merchant earlier, this is actually a business, and they may not accept gold,"...We have this though...Im certain it would cover it..." he explained, placing it on the counter, she looked down at it rather surprised,"O-of course we can accept this!..this it more than enough!...It is upstairs, the fifth room to the right!" she said cheerfully. Kaze heaved a sigh of relief. He took Akira's hand and lead her to the room,"...Lets go..." he said calmly.
Finnaly in the room, he walked inside and shut the door,"...Here..." he said, pulling out a towel and some soap, "...Go into the bath and get yourself washed up..." he said calmly,"...I will have one of the maids clean your clothes while you are bathing..." Katsu placed the bag on one of the beds. And began sorting though some of the supplies.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira was too busy looking around in the inn to see what Katsu was doing. But she did turn quickly to run back up to follow him when she heard him tell her to go. She skipped up the stairs and into the room after the older male. Wandering around to take a look at the room, she gleefully twirled in a circle, Stopping when he offered her a towel and a bar of soap.
indentSmiling she obediently went into the restroom as she closed the door behind her. Within a few moments Akira shoved her clothes gently out of the door, neatly folded as best as a child her age could manage. And after shutting the door securely, the sound of water running was heard as the young girl took the rare chance to take a lengthy bubble bath.
indentindent" It's been a while since I taken a bath. Ahh~ It feels so good! "
