Your right. As long as people play the right way, make it anime-like, it would not matter.

Hm. As i said, I'll look for that one thread that I've seen somewhere in the guild before. If I do, I'll put it in the main forum for everyone to see.

Lanfaer Yet how can they truly work together, and feel equal, if there is a leader? Perhaps, in certain situations, one or another takes up the title of "leader", but only for a little while. Its to make it where no one of the Order can order the other around just by saying "I'm leader, you do as I tell you". THat would seem a bit contradictory to the good they do. And, well, cleansing the world also happens to be Killing the Bijuu. While the Akatsuki want to capture them, the Order will seek them out to destroy them, or seal them somewhere others will never find them. They will seek to do good, and such. Or, they can be something Mana suggested last night. A peacekeeper order, who will beat down ANYONE that tries to disturb their idea of "paradise". So, if Akatsuki attacks Konoha, they might come to protect Konoha. However, if right after Konoha decides to launch the offensive at Akatsuki, they would stop Konoha, because that would end the peace. That's just another idea. Things are up to change, Muffins. Hence, I wanted your opinion, so we can all agree as to their purpose, so we can define them better. That's all. Si, Si. Muffins understands that point very well but it shouldn't be so big of a problem. A leader would not really contradict their purpose. If they are an organization willing to set up their 'paradise' it's not so much as a problem because they are an organization. A group who is so focused on making their ideals into reality, no matter what anyone says, is going to be very very biased anyhow. With different personalities in the group some might be more heartless and strike wherever and at whoever tarnishes their ideals of this 'paradise'. Someone needs to have at least a sort of respect factor that is higher than everyone elses so that no really rash ideals or backstabbing or impulsive things are done.
If we let them just do anything and everything they will be too much like the Akatsuki. Unless that is what everyone wants. o.o
Saying that they will kill is more of a contradiction, me thinks. Seeing as they are supposed to be 'good'.
Leaders in groups are only a problem because there will be people who wont like being talked down to. That's really it. It would be funny as hell if they all drew straws for who would be leader for the week.

Tonight is the night we become great! The Stars will show us the way! In essence, a leader wouldn't be bad. More of a symbolic one than a domineering one.
Kind of like King Arthur and the knights of the round table.
As for killing, it would really be up to each person. One of the less used virtues among knights were mercy. Some did it. Some didn't. It was kind of a pick and choose thing.
Akatsuki is tied back with original ideals, due to the wanting of the bijuu.
The order could always pull into something more like... "Try to bring 'em back... but you don't gotta." Think of it this way. All known forms of bijuu extraction result in death. So either way, the jinchuriki must die. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!

That's what I meant by the respect factor. :]
They are supposed to be good guys. It would be kinda cooler if they were like gods in a sense. They want their ideal of peace and they will do it, no matter who they hurt. This would allow them to be good guys and still kill, ya know. Well, good guys in their own minds and to those for getting rid of the bijuus.

I think that as a Holy Order, they should all answer to a higher being or receive their commands from some supernatural force. If anyone has ever played Oblivion, it would be like that dark brotherhood with their "Mother". I think that one member would interpret the words of the being and therefore act as sort of a leader since he would tell them what the being's words meant. Sort of like Wanted with Morgan Freeman.
Good rules in that link Lan.

Tonight is the night we become great! The Stars will show us the way! Ah... Oblivion rears its head in this mix. XD Might be an interesting bit. Some kind of Oracle or interpreter in his or her own right, to actually dispatch them accordingly. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!

Well, Mana. The Core of Faith would be just that. A leader could be Hope, and then he receives guidance from Faith, who tells the others what their GOD wanted. That's an idea.
Or we could do as Muffins advised, which would be that they believe themselves a Necessity, and thus must do all they can, no matter what, to see the world become Paradise.
And the leader would be a First Among Equals with that Arthur reference, right mana?

Tonight is the night we become great! The Stars will show us the way! Essentially. Edegaru's idea for a prophet of interpretation would allow for an Arthurian figure without the mass pull of a king, and allow for an easier time in taking up the reigns, should something happen. Thus, they'd all gather to pair off or group together, for the sake of moving out on missions. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!

So. Are we going for the idea of a Prophet and Leader? One who receives his orders from some higher power, perhaps this Gar-whatever word?
