tieru I listen to visual kei more than anything else. ^ ^; Many bands have an elegant essence over their songs, some fit with lolita styles. Not so much sweet loli, but classic and gothic?
They're pretty obvious.. Some I can think of from the top of my head ; Malice Mizer, Versailles Philharmonic Quintet, HIZAKI Grace Project, NoveLis, Secilia Luna, Moi Dix Mois, ALI Project, GPKISM, Kaya, Közi, some songs by LAREINE
You're talkin what I like! I love all those bands. And then things like D'espairsRay and MUCC and T.M.Rev. Which goes with Abingdon Boys School xD

David Bowie practically is visual kei. Only he speaks English.

Hahaha now that you think about it, I agree! I do love him. A lot. THOUGH I also listen to Poets of the Fall. That's it for English. xD I can't believe I forgot them, they're so amazing! :c

The only 'lolita-related' music that I've listened to would be Kanon Wakeshima. I'm starting to like that Still Doll song. xD
However, I haven't heard any other songs. Any other suggestions besides the two at the beginning of the thread? 3nodding

Has anyone heard of Celtic Woman? I think their music is quite suited for lolita, considering their beautiful, angelic voices. heart

One of my favorite bands is actually a cover band. If you like alot of violin music, you might like the Vitamin String Quartet. They take popular music and cover it with violins, and in my opinion, the result is often even better than the original. I prefer their cover of Lady Gaga's Alejandro to hers. Blister in the Sun and Sk8er Boi are wonderfully sprightly fiddle music, whereas My Immortal is beautifully melancholy. My sister has maintained that their cover of the Cure's Lovesong is "the saddest song ever".
