Doveflight groaned, flopping onto her side. Her sides heaved with the effort to breathe, and she sighed. "at this point, i'll kit before i even reach the camp entrance!" she said, looking at her swollen belly. Her ears pricked, and sat up. "somebody is coming." she thought aloud.

(Oh crap, I said forest. Lul, I'm so used to that.) Skypool came closer. Yep, it was a cat. A queen, actually. She looked ready to kit soon. "Um, excuse me. Are you alright?"

Rabbitleap was out stretching his lengthy legs. The prey was running well today and as much as it tempted him he knew the clan had plenty of prey to go around for the day. So, he let the little morsels roam free. For now.

Willowstar entered her den, glad to see her moss bedding had been changed. Willoswtar had been thinking about changing the deputy. *But who?* the thought kept clawing at her mind. She itched to get an answer. But StarClan hasn't mentioned anything to her. *Maybe tonight* Sleep overcame her. She lay dreamlessly in her bed. Darkness crept into her mind. "Who?" "Who?" "Who?" "Who?" The single word echoed, hauntingly.

Berryblaze: ahh, theres some! i thought excitedly. i padded over to the lavendar and took a mouthful. i turned and headed back to camp.

Berryblaze: i walked into the medicine cat den and set down the herbs. ok, these go over here. i tucked the lavendar in a corner.

Berryblaze: i padded out of the den and headed out of the camp again. this time, for poppy seeds. while i was searching for some poppies, i saw 2 cats. huh, thats skypool, and then a queen with no ShadowClan scent. i padded up to where they were talking. "Something wrong here?" i asked.

"Galespirit." a voice replied. Willowstar felt a prodding in her side. She snapped awake. "Galespirit! Have you any respect for anyone?! No! You don't! Not even your Clan Leader! So help me, if you do not get out of my den this moment, I swear to StarClan I will send you back to the Nursery!!!" (sorry, Willowstar's in a bad mood, as you can see. )

[Galespirit purred playfully, undisturbed by his leader's annoyance. He swatted playfully at her paws before bounding out.] As he ran, he cried, "You silly sourface! I was only worried about you!"
[He dashed into the clearing and sat down, licking his ruffled pelt.
He then noticed a cat standing in the middle of the clearing. Berryblaze had walked up to it. He sniffed the air and smelled milk.
A queen?
She was about to birth, as well.
Interested, he padded up to the soon-to-be mother. ]
"Hello there," he greeted her, kindness twinkling in his merry eyes, "what're you doing in a place like this with kits in your belly?"
[He could smell the strange scents around her. She certainly wasn't a Clan cat, or at least...hadn't been for a while. As well as smelling of kittypet, there was a faint NightClan scent about her.]

Skypool looked to Berryblaze. "Could you take her to the nursery?" Looking back to the queen, he added: "Do you need some poppy seed?"
