Ooooh.. World's Largest Dungeon. I had a minor excursion there once - the CRs of that place are all out of whack. 2nd level characters versus a room full of four ogres and a 4th level Ogre barbarian. If I hadn't had the Disable psionic power, it would have been a TPK, rather than just a "kill me dead in one hit" K.

Well, I'll make it sure you guys don't randomly walk into another section before finishing the one you're working on.
But I can't guarantee no TPK. You guys reap what you sow.

So, let's say I wanted to put together a Displacer Beast Warblade. I'd have 7 hit dice at first level (6 magical beast HD, and one warblade HD), but not gain another level until everyone else hit level 8? Is that how it works?

A Displacer Beast Warblade 1 would be equal to a level 5 character.
You would gain Warblade 2 when a normal member reached level 8.
You would gain Warblade 3 when a normal member reached level 11.
You would then level normally.

Crap would there be a use for a mount in this dungeon? And even more so a flying one?

I highly doubt it.
We could use a back-row ranger of some time. Someone to go along with our resident Sorcerer.
I've filled the Tank/Healbot route with a Crusader.

The Jester of Equilibrium Crap would there be a use for a mount in this dungeon? And even more so a flying one? Regular mount? Possibly. But the ceiling height of the rooms do vary so there would be cases where a flying mount wouldn't even be able to maneuver in the air at all.
Of course you still have to feed it.

Hmmm... Strongly considering taking advantage of this to go with a Displacer Beast... either rogue, swordsage, or monk. I'd like evasion and wis to AC (since finding armor to fit me would be hard, methinks), but swordsage gives me such useful abilities...

The Jester of Equilibrium Ok ok. Last question. Is there still wood elves? I'd assume so since Wood Elves are an official variant of the Elf template.

Not sure about Pathfinder, but the standard elf in the 3.5 PHB is considered a "High Elf." Wood elves have different racial bonuses.

Since high elves are supposed to be stuck-up snobs who think they're the only TRUE elves while normal elves tend to be very friendly and outgoing people.

I believe that is an Elder Scrolls thing, or something.
In 3.5, they are called High Elves. SRD.
If you look under "Subraces," (after the stat block for the PHB version) it reads "The above information describes the high elf, the most common variety. There are five other major subraces of elf, in addition to half-elves, who share enough elven characteristics to be included here."
