A healthy balance?
Whomever wants a uniform can design one, post it up in a thread, and make sure you make it clear that it's optional whether or not someone wants to wear it. Sound fair?

Suicidesoldier#1 Squad 17 Well Captain, if you don't have a Uniform Policy, say you have a person who's got no clothes on or dressed like a Hippie that threw up on Red Sally representing us.(Figure of Speech) Anyway, Would'nt you atleast have some Restriction's to that point? We do kinda need some Dicipline here for Uniforms cause if that's the Case, Everyone will start dressing up as though we're a Militia. And i'm just making a point Sir, No disrespect to you Sir. I'm not worried about my projected image at all. I'm worried about how GOOD the guild is to my members. While I appreciate your suggestions, and understand, I must decline that as a reason to have a uniform. If you care however, you can make a set of uniforms, and perhaps will adopt it as something we CAN wear. blaugh Yes Sir, Understood

I'm sure we can all come to an agreement on what seems to look good (as impossible as it seems) cant we?

In my, most humble, opinion uniforms for avatars should be optional. We have uniforms for UGMF, but we allow our members to be naked for all we care. What matters is the RP, and that is crucial. smile

Sorry, but when it comes to uniforms, I'm a submarine sailor. And as such, I shall dress no other way, nor will you see me in any other uniform.
Submariners uniform is as follows:
Most important. Blue cover alls, command patch on right breast pocket, warfare pin above left breast pocket, silver crows with red chevrons as collar devices. Command ball cap.
The Blue Navy Digital camoflauge with optional command patch on right brest pocket and submarine warfare pin sewn just above the left breast pocket above the US Navy name tape.
Black and Tans. A khaki shirt with name tag above right breast pocket, ribbons above left breast pocket, most senior warfare pin above ribbons, and secondary warfare pin below it. Black slacks. Black garrison cap. Silver collar devices and cap devices.
That's all I'll post about. The last two are self explanitory. Dress blues and whites.
But I will say that my characters shall never wear body armor as a uniform item. Limits movement space on the submarine. Lol.

IMO you will lose a lot of potential members of the guild if they are forced to change their avatar, uniforms should be common sense in the roleplay, say a uniform way about how certain branches dress, but uniforms for avatars should be a choice made by the person.

I'm not saying anyone has to wear that or make their avatar wear that. I'm just saying that I'm an extremely proud Submarine sailor in real life, and well, I will be role playing one, and those shall be his uniforms in RP.

Hope you don't mind. I've been quick at work posting, though not RPing or anything. Just typing up suggestions and such.
