"True, you left. Because you don't feel like you are actually one of them. You feel like an outsider, even after you helped them to save the humans." Eon said, his manifested red eyes widening. Deciding that it would be better to just turn him, Eon focused on the dark emotions in Gareth's heart and brought them completely to the surface and amplified them. The mist turned black and swirled around Gareth, covering him completely. After a few seconds, the mist receded, and Gareth stood there, his heart black as midnight. "You will go to the center of the Tranor Desert and destroy the three stone pillars there. Then carve the symbol of release on the ground in the center of where they stood." Eon said, his real voice echoing through Gareth's head.

Shayne landed and was soon joined by Ark. "No I am not. That attack was unprovoked, and the rest of that crowd wanted to join in. I have a feeling that it will take something much more drastic for them to accept us. I need to train. You may join me if you wish." Shayne said looking at Ark. His duties as leader were important, but this was a day off for him, his advisers were taking care of everything else until he returned to his duty. He wanted to practice with the Dragon Fire some more.

Riku walked towards the four pillars, cautious for he did not know what they were for. As he got closer, he saw that they were circular, with thousands of small glyphs and runes etched in each one. They seemed to glow a faint red, and heat radiated from the area. Riku got closer, until he could actually read the glyphs. They all made up a seal, which would kept something imprisoned. Swallowing, Riku looked around him. He had a feeling that whatever was guiding him wanted him to destroy the pillars. But, he was wary of what he was unleashing. Deciding that he had no choice, Riku looked around him. He saw a large rock a few feet away resting on the ground. Riku went over and picked it up, happy that his body was strong with muscle. Walking back to the pillars, Riku hefted the large rock over his head and throw it at the base of a pillar. It took many, many tries, but eventually the pillar's base was chipped away from the assault and fell. The remaining three pillars began to glow a dim red as it lost a conduit. They would be harder to knock down, in an effort to keep whatever was imprisoned where it was.

Kummar had stopped pacing in a circle and talking to himself after he had made a decent sized rut in the ground. For now, he just sat, looking out at the landscape and thinking to himself. His world had been flipped upside down at the end of the war and over the past few weeks, so now he was thinking of a way to fix it. His thoughts were interrupted, however, when he saw a dark shape fly above him, which had come from the swamp. Kummar looked up and saw Gareth flying above. He had met Gareth shortly after his return to the human world, and found out that Gareth had been the second dragon poisoned in the assassination attempt. Although Kummar appologized and said he had only been following orders, he could never be sure if Gareth forgave him or not. But now, something didn't look right. Gareth looked different and was flying towards the Tranor Desert, a strange place for a dragon like him to go. Curious, Kummar waited until Gareth was just a barely noticable speck in the sky before taking off after him. Something wasn't right, and Kummar wanted to know what. He kept his distance though, enough so that he wouldn't be noticed unless Gareth was specifically looking for him. After a while, Gareth had reached the desert, with Kummar not far behind. Taking cover as best he could behind some rocks, Kummar watched as Gareth destroyed several stone pillars. What is he doing? he wondered. Gareth was definantly not acting like himself, but why?

Shayne looked around at the ring of fire, wondering why he Ark had created it. "We practice on each other. That way we have a real challenge." Shayne said, he walked to the other side of the field. He turned around to face Ark, and started to power up. In a few short seconds, white and gold energy was flowing from him like water.

"Good, next report to the Temple of Avo, destroy the two pillars of stone there." Eon said, his voice happy. He heard laughter behind him, so he turned around. Behind him stood a human female spirit. She had been sent here, most likely because some fool had summoned her spirit and hadn't sent it back to where it belonged. The woman drew her hilt and created a blade out of wind. She rushed at Eon, striking at his neck. Eon threw his hand out and sent a pulse of energy at the woman. She screamed and was sent flying backwards. Then in a heartbeat, Eon held his hand near his chest and began gathering energy to form his blade. With his blade summoned, Eon began to leisurely walk towards the woman. The blade glowed silver and grew longer and larger. Eon flew at the woman and struck down at her. She managed to block with her areoblade, but Eon knocked it away and in a nanosecond struck again. The woman screamed as her spirit split and vanished. Eon smiled.

Riku was sitting on the ground, panting for all he was worth. He had managed to destroy two more pillars, but the last one was proving exceedingly difficult. After roughly ten minutes, Riku struggled to get up, hefting the stone, he started again to slam it at the base of the pillar. After thirty strikes, the pillar gave way, fell to the ground and shattered. A symbol made of light appeared on the ground as the light faded from the runes. The new symbol meant release, which meant that Riku had done his job.
