To me art is my living and my friend. I have made so many friends and associates because of my art and not mention money. But it's not all about the money, sure it's great when I can pay off bills and my art supply addiction, but like a good friend my art helps me with my life. I don't think I'd ever want to do anything else in my life, with art I can make worlds and people that never existed until my pencil touched paper! In a focal point art is a part of me, I'd be empty without. heart

I'd say I have a love-hate relationship as well.
When I see a really pretty scene, I will feel a rush of inspiration and get the urge to capture it in a painting/drawing.
I have my good days and bad days, of course. And usually I don't have all my supplies with me when this happens...hahah.
When it comes to creative stuff from the top of my head though, I have trouble, and I get frustrated. The stuff from my head is rarely inspiring, and it's really hard for me when composition, color, and little details like anatomy aren't all set up for me to observe. The only time I really feel like doing a creative project is when I get a commission, and the idea is roughly given to me.
Hopefully I'll get over that phase, though, because I want to be an illustrator. I feel like there's some magic creative spot in me that just hasn't been touched yet (besides the time when I was a kid, but I didn't have to worry about technical accuracy at the time.)

Art and i have a very special relationship. it has made me nocturnal, pay attention to it in all its forms, and has consumed every waking moment of my life for the past who-knows-how-many years. actually the relationship is more like that with an attention seeking child on crack. coffee has become my best friend and i cant see my life being any different. whee
