My kitty is wonderful, but the dog is evil. I keep saying that we need to send him to a country that eats dogs.

Last Friday, I accidentally left my Disney Charm Bracelet in the women's restroom (I take it off to do my business, wouldn't you?). I hadn't noticed it was gone until four hours later when I was leaving the convention (Comic Con). With a crowd the magnitude of 125,000 people, of course I didn't get it back.
I've had that thing and built it up since 2004...my ONLY souvenir I bought from Disneyland because I don't buy anything else...all gone in the span of a day. So I have to wait for my birthday to get my booty to Disneyland and recover 99% of that bracelet (one charm I can only get on Ebay because they stopped selling it at D-Land).
Of course I'm pissed. VERY pissed.

I have a friend who recently lost his cell phone forever. He was at the beach with some friends, and somehow the phone fell in the water. He scrambled to get it, but he couldn't get to it in time. Now, his shiny new phone is somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico.

Sometime something bad has to happen for something good to happen. Think about Japan. If they hadn't been humiliated in WWII, they wouldn't be a world technological super power. That might be a tad off scale, you get the picture.

Hmm, I guess I had something better happen to me today.
My best friend got me my old job back at the place I worked last year. I didn't even have to reapply - she just talked to our boss and he says to tell me to start Monday. WTF?! So I'm pretty sure that I'll have enough of a paycheck to replace all that was lost by the time my birthday rolls around.
And Sony effing ROCKS! In general, Japan gave us really REALLY great videogames, anime, and manga : )

Thank you!! heart It was just SO RANDOM, I get a text outta the middle of nowhere basically saying I'm rehired. I didn't even talk to my boss about it - I didn't tell ANYONE there I wanted to get my job back (except for the bff, coz you know, bff's know everything).
