Inspiration-wise, I'm very into mechanical parts, machines and the idea of excess XD It's very conceptual but my style is sort of derived from it even though you don't see ANY of it in my art XD
I started drawing when I was like 3 so I definitely can't remember that far back rofl
Presently I look towards classic Baroque artists and fashion editorials for ideas and techniques for designing and colouring <3

MayaTara purdoy25 MayaTara purdoy25 MayaTara purdoy25 hmmm.. inspiration hmmm... probably from other artists I know personally (like my mom), they always inspire me to get better coz they're better than me in the first place and I aspire to be atleast at par with them or even better (yeah, I did become better than some of them O_O)... and DBZ. LOL
if they had only known that bad voice acting and endless repeats would have such an impact on nowadays artists. XDDDhhahahahhahahaha XD... well, can't help it. was very popular back then.
back then. you make me feel so old. was only 2001 when they started airing it here. xDomg lulz... they've been airing here since like... when my mom was a teen. lol
I live in an anime deprived country. emo
haven't even watched any anime in 2 years now I think. o__oawe I'd die if I lived there gonk lol not rly as long as there's internetz

The "I have to get my work done, if i dont they wont like me" attitude befalls on me unfortunately.
Also, the fact that everyone is so freaking talented it makes me want to work!

ah! i can relate to that kaleta! but sometimes there's this fear that i cannot please the person that i get art blocks T 3 T ' ' '
but i actually get inspiration whenever i ride a bus going to far places or... while taking a bath *laughs*
i also take inspiration from other peoples works ^^

Oh god.. my bigest influences have been
Clamp
Marvel Comics (lulz)
Kouta Hirano
Koushi Rikudo
Roman Dirge
Yun Kouga
(other random BL artists, and people on DA xD)
But yeah... mostly Clamp. I even used to draw the really bad anatomy where the people were much longer then they really needed to be. It was awesome. xD

[ » . . . (. '-')./* ]The first times I drew I don't think I actually enjoyed it all that much. It was either a class assignment or else some drawing class my parents made me join. O:
Then years later my sister and I started watching anime, and she started drawing randomly. And some of my friends did, too. I guess they inspired me to try drawing again. And I guess that was the start?
Currently, I'm inspired by random stuff I see. If I'm just walking around somewhere and see something I like, I store the idea in the back of my mind somewhere. And I like browsing through random galleries of people's work, whether it's dA, gaia's shops, other websites, etc... But I don't really have only a few artists who inspire me. I get inspired more by concepts and such, rather than a particular style of art. ;33 Right now, that's enough to keep me motivated to improve; maybe later I'll find an idol who I just have to try and be like. xD
Oh, and commissions keep me motivated to draw, too, haha...

Of course there's the professionals and the greats...clamp, toriyama, kubo, Nightow, etc... But most of my inspiration comes for artists my own age..you guys :}
Also a lot of the great artists on DA...Loish, Alexds1, Rye-bread, Endling..etc xd

Buu-dai Of course there's the professionals and the greats...clamp, toriyama, kubo, Nightow, etc... But most of my inspiration comes for artists my own age..you guys :}
Also a lot of the great artists on DA...Loish, Alexds1, Rye-bread, Endling..etc xd Oooo Endling is one of my favorites too!

Lots of reasons
1. Anime! (My need to draw like the pros)
2. Music ( I keep drawing stuff after listening to songs)
3. Rivalry (my friends and family....I am always trying to beat them! RAWR~)
4. My own personal gain ( Buahaha... $$$$$$$)
