Razeasha That is so epicly awesome! Now I want one too, but I could never afford it... I own a leather mini hat, but it's a top hat and I don't think that it suits me...I might see if I can sell it or trade it on egl comm sales... I have a shorter sax blue mini hat which came with my bodyline dress and suitys me well. I also like bows and head dresses. But my favorite is a clip that I have...It may be against a lolita rule or two, but it looks so pretty. It's a fake bow with a small bow on top of that. It's rather large, but it doesn't adorn the top of my head, rather the back. Well, they are all handmade what makes the price. These cost $118 but there are cheaper ones for 80$ existing, they are currently working on a international store thought.

At least you get what you pay for.

My favorite headgear on myself is really big bows and little top hats, and when my hair was longer I would put it up in high curly pigtails and put little girls hair accesories in with one or two bigger bows.

I'm not crazy about hats or the huge head-eating bows... xd
Don't get me wrong! I admire looking at them on other people, but they just do not suit my personal taste. Kind of like how I love short hairstyles on girls, and yet I would never ever ever sacrifice my long hair.
As for what I do like - the traditional headdress. LOVE IT. Before I discovered lolita, I wore headbands all the time (still do, when I venture out in public in my normal wear). I preferred the soft ones, sometimes elasticized, that had long tails that you could see underneath (I'd drape the tails over my shoulders, too), but hard headbands are plentiful in my collection as well. Lots of them have little bows or embellishments on them that make them perfect for lolita, which is amazing considering I didn't know lolita existed at the time.
Now I wear those, headdresses, and tasteful little bows. Nothing at the very top of my head - the bows are always off to one side. Usually the left side. o_o I don't know why.

Oh man that is pretty!! Did you make it yourself? I adore it! *imagines crafting a pink-and-white variation...* <3
Oh, I forgot to mention tiaras in my previous post! I really need to scout out what Claire's has.

Yeah, almost soldered my fingers together though... >__>; It's hard to tell, but a pearl and a heart of faux gold beads dangle on a copper thread inside. I put it on a clip because things that tie under my chin make me look like an angry dog that someone dressed up.
Ha Ha, try saying faux gold beads ten times fast... I'm a dork, I know. redface

I'm going to have to make one of those when my cosplay group does the Wonderland Organization. The concept terrifies me. Yes, I know I said the "C" word, but if you make a well-constructed outfit inspired by a fictional character, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
