Sablara EmilyScissorhands And of course all the new Halloween items are only available in the cash shop. stressed I noted that too. Considering all the real cash that they're making, I would have thought that there would be more staff (as there is money coming in to pay real Gaia staff) and less bugs (the computer software kind, not the creepy crawly ones). But it's not happening! More cash items, more bugs! Someone somewhere is making a tidy profit out of this. rolleyes yes, i was so mad seeing that there are only cash shop items and they are not great.... xp maybe we will have to pay form the halloween event this year.... who knows

I personally love Evolving Items, but this fish thing really grinds my gears. I don't really have much interest in it anyway, but the idea of a fish which dies costing 4 real cash dollars is a bit disheartening.

Basically they were saying that Gaia is not a public company (ie, it's not on the stock market - it started with someones personal money, not share holders) and so (apparently) they are not allowed to disclose their financial situation. They also implied that Gaia wasn't making much money.

Yea, right, if they weren't making money they wouldn't be getting so greedy, i think. they'd leave it with the old ammount of servers and obligate to joining by invite and end of story. if they're developing so many pay apps and items, it's cos there's a market for it.

Yeah, I'm definitely not spending any real money on the aquarium. I've had goldfish that lived 5+ years, so I'm not sure why they die so soon..
Also, I hate that you can't tell what your fish are upset about... mine hate me but I have no idea why. redface I think the aquarium is a cute idea, but I don't think it's been very well thought out.
Also, I hate how some of the really nice evolving items... well, it's just ridiculous to expect people to pay $10 over and over to get multiple poses of the item. You should be able to wear more than one pose at once. neutral

There is no need to buy cash cards for $25. You can buy direct for $5.00 at a time like I do. Most of what I have I just buy on the marketplace because I can't afford much cash.
I also agree that a balance between cash items and gold items is indeed needed.
