[Sorry, been busy.]
She was a level up from the wolves. Well, at least that meant he didn't dislike her. Her eyes widened when Pan licked her face. After blinking a few times Evie quickly wiped her face with her hand. "Eww," Evie whined, hoping her blush was not seen. No one had ever licked her, or done anything else physical for that matter, except her parents, grandparents, and the pack. She would have never expected someone completely opposite from her to do anything near talking to her, let alone licking her.
She felt her ears flatten against her head once more and her tail go limp when he asked if she would do anything like he had done without permisson. Truth was she was somewhat more free to do what she wanted now that she was out of the pack, she'd never followed the rules too well in the pack anyway, but there were indeed things, like licking, she would not do without being told she could. It was then the sound of the footsteps she had heard before stopped close to her and Pan, and then there was a voice.
Her feline features immediately came back to life as she peeked around Pan at the girl. Evie's mouth opened to greet her before Pan swiped the hat the girl was wearing off of her head. After hearing the two converse Evie quickly took the hat from Pan and skipped over to the girl.
She felt her mature side began to emit from her as she handed the girl's hat over to her. "Here," she said in a more adult tone, much unlike her own. "Sorry about Pan," Evie told the girl before looking over her shoulder and glaring at the boy. "He can be rude sometimes," she continued, looking back at the girl. Then as soon as her mature side showed it seemed to disappear and she was grinning like a child again.
"So, you're a transfer student? It's nice to meet you! I'm Evie, and that's Pan," Evie told the girl, nodding her head to Pan when she mentioned his name. Not waiting for an reply from the girl Evie's tail began to sway rapidly as it usually did when she met someone new. "You're a witch, right?"

A hand slammed down on the alarm clock that began to ring obnoxiously loud. Ranofer was already up and awake, of course. He had a thing about sleeping when it was dark out. He'd rather sleep during the day, when he could block out the lightness of the sky, than waste the time he could be spending in the moonlight and darkness. He turned back to his computer, smirking absently as he read the email cancelling his first two classes. Rolling his eyes as he saw which teacher had bailed out on their students the first day of classes, he leaned back in his chair, remembering the TechnoMage walking around with those absurd contraptions strapped to her back. She had always seemed like a bit of a headcase to him, but he was more concerned about the teachers he had for the classes after her's. Ran knew that at least one of them was a Fae of the Seelie Court, and his emotions toward them were more towards the hostile nature than the friendly nature.
Ran listened to the droning droplets of water hit his window before getting up and drawing the curtains, making the dark atmosphere of his dorm even darker. The walls were painted a dark red, and all of the furniture was black-painted wood. Even his bed makings were black, other than a few red accent pillows, and a lone vase of crimson roses was strategically placed on a side table. Reaching forward to touch one, it bent at the stem to meet his fingers. The petals were velvet soft.
He wasn't in the mood to go back to sleep for the hour or so he had to relax, he was already dressed and showered anyways. So, instead, he decided to go roam the halls clad in his black ensemble; t-shirt, belt, jeans and sneakers included. 'Might as well get a good look at the new students,' he thought to himself, the edge of his mouth twitching upwards. Luckily, he saw his reflection in the mirror before he exited, covering up his curled horns with glamour, his translucent teeth replaced with perfect white ones.
Ran watched as students ran through the halls, yelling things like, "Oh my god, I'm so going to be late!" or "She's going to rip me to shreds!" and Ran couldn't help but chuckle in amusement towards the new comers.
A hand rose to shake his hair from any wetness it had obtained from the rain messily. It wasn't the rain that he didn't like, it was the warmth that lingered around it. He'd be much happier if it was a little chilly outside. He had to remind himself that it was only a short while until it would be snowy out.
Ran listened in as he heard a teacher scolding someone. He could recognize that dominant voice from anywhere, even if he was still a good ways away from the scene. As he finally rounded the corner, he saw her room. He turned in the doorway, leaning on the doorframe with his arms across his chest as she had stood only moments before. "Ah, Ms. Kay, looking as beautiful.. and dominant as ever," he announced his presence with a mischevious smile, looking her over with a hungry stare, though it was only jokingly, of course... "Still yelling at the new students, I see." Ran turned his glance away from her to scan over the group of gossiping kids with his glowing red eyes, licking his upper lip out of her view unconsciously. When he turned back to the werewolf, he smiled again, putting up his hands, "Don't worry, I'm not in your Bio class anymore. But you do have the honor to teach me in Phys. Ed. this year." He knew his words were nothing she could tolerate, and it was just a game to him.

The woman leaned over the desk towards the computer. Her finger flinging the mouse wheel down the screen as the dark eyes scanned the small objectives over the semester. The pair of thin lips curled at the tone of the familar voice. Ah, the days Kiala spend trying to find something to entertain just that one student.
"Welcome back." The woman's tone not so surprised. Removing her attention from the computer to glance at the boy who seemed to have his eyes on the new bodies. Quickly shaking her head with a humor manner. Shoes clicking against the floor and appeared at the sinks that were placed against the wall nearest the hall way. Cleverly, Kiala stuffed the hard plastic drain with a roll of paper towels to stop the water from flowing down. A delicate looking hand reached towards the faucet and turned on the cold and gave a light twist to the warm knob to make the water less cold. "If you want to gawk at the students you can do that later. Come and help me with something." The female's eyes darted towards Ran with a smile to her face. "I want to test a student's nerve." Knowing all to well that he loved to play with feelings of the other beings.
Leaving the water to run she turned to the back of the class room towards a series of cupboards. Throwing the doors of the cupboards opened to reveal shelfs of plastic bags filled with fluids and dark objects hiding inside. "I need four or five of the orange labeled bags to be put into the sink."
After barking out the order, Kiala was already towards the window that towered over the drawers that kept most of the supplies that her students would need, Kiala's smile never went away and only the shimmering of metal objects helped to make it wider. Pulling out four trays, holding them close to her chest, shutting the drawer with her powerful thigh, and decorated the front desk with them. Stacking the retangular trays on top of each other.

Ranofer laughed a bit under his breath at her mention of his 'gawking'. He thought of it more as prowling for his new prey; gawking was just a word to describe an obsessed school girl or some creepy pervert.. The latter was probably the truest of the two possible answers.
"Your wish is my command," he bowed dramatically towards her, his tone mockingly seductive. He returned her grin with one of his own, "You found the right person to aid your scheme," if he wasn't wearing his Glamour at this moment in time, his appearance would be overwhelming, especially with that glint in his eyes. "You're lucky that Tamaranth bailed out, I wouldn't have been able to grace you with my presence," remnants of his 'game' had began again, though he was sure Kiala was used to his antics; she knew him much too well. It was surprising how much Ran could cope with this teacher. Though he hated every aspect of school, he always found Ms. Kay entertaining. That didn't mean he didn't still like to cause trouble for her.
Grabbing two orange-labeled bags in each hand, he inspected them as he walked towards the sink. Plopping them into the lukewarm water as if he approved of their contents. He turned to watch the woman take out the instruments that made this particular endeavor of hers possible, grinning with beaming white chompers. "You're the only teacher I know that will skip half of a semester's worth of material to get back at a student," a tone of approval in his words, "Did I mention that I simply adore you?"

"Pssh," Pan snorted as the hat was taken from him. "Actin' all high n' mighty now, are we Katzchen?" he asked, winking at the new girl, Miya. "She wouldn't know if I'm rude or not, she's only just met me. It might be a silly facade to hide the fact that I'm so verrrry uncomfortable around her dominant personality.
"At any rate, there's a uniform, but I can't even remember the last time someone wore it." "He paused thoughtfully, "Or maybe it was me. I wore the girl's one for a semester a few years ago. Mostly dropped off since then." He nodded, his volume having dropped down a few levels. At this point, he was mostly talking to himself.
Besides, this girl would be the first witch of the new term. Perhaps she was something interesting. Certainly shy, though. He could smell the nerves rolling rolling off her in waves of hormones. It was adorable, really.
"Course your a witch. Don't see Mages running around in pointy hats, do we? What's your variety, though, that's the real question."

Miya looked up in surprise when she heard a kind, adult like tone, and smiled shyly, taking the hat gently and ducking her head slightly in a bow. "Th-thank you..." She said after putting the pointed accessory back upon her head. "U-um, n-no it's fine, I'm sure he was only playing and meant little harm by it...." Miya almost always found good in people and situations, even if someone was doing something to her.
She smiled brightly when this new person became bouncy and sweet. "Yes! It's very nice to meet you too!" She smiled over to Pan when Evie introduced him, and blinked a moment before blushing lightly when he winked at her. She giggled softly, a sweet, bubbly sound, as she listened to Pan talking to himself, and smiled shyly again when he added to Evie's sentence before she had the chance to.
He then posed a question, though, that made the little witch blink a moment, unsure of what he was asking, and then blush, unsure of how to answer. "U-um... Well, Mama was a Necromancer, b-but I want to work with plants and animals!" She smiled, a lightly blush still hovering over her pale cheeks. "I don't have much training yet, but I hope to become a great Elementalist some day~!" She looked at the pair shyly, hoping that she had taken his question in the correct context, and answered it sufficiently.

Momo chuckled to herself as an old joke finally clicked in her head. The voices outside were now a tad louder than before, but not a single student had made it to her classroom. She looked at the clock once more, only five more minutes. Her steps were quiet as she walked around the room one more time, patting Selene on her way to the door.
She leaned against the wooden frame for a few seconds, watching students standing about idly. The older ones sharing condensed stories about vacation, while the more timid freshmen stood together in small clusters. They stood out like sore thumbs, something that amused the teacher every time a new semester began.
She then clapped her hands, just loud enough for the students to hear it but not to interrupt their talk. "Come now children, class starts in two minutes. Tardiness is a rare art seldom appreciated by most faculty members." She spoke with a big smile and a tone so sweet it was bound to make even the average Joe sick.

Evie held back a scowl. She liked to think she could very well find out a person's personality by meeting them. Pan for instance wasn't exactly rude, but he was outgoing. He wasn't afraid to do anything; he didn't hold back. That's why Evie liked him.
The girl in front of her, however, was quite different. Shy, soft spoken, yes, those were the qualities Evie saw from Miya so far. Hearing Miya's answer to Pan's question then Evie smiled, "Plants and animals, huh?" Evie laughed delightfully, "An Elementalist, cool!"
"If you want to work with animals, I guess we'll have to become friends then," Evie told the girl with a grin. It was then someone clapped behind them and Evie looked over her shoulder. The teacher spoke kindly so Evie's swaying tail did not falter. Nodding her head in acknowledgment to the teacher Evie looked back at Miya.
"I'll see you later then. We can hang out!" Evie grinned at the witch and turned around, beginning to walk away. She stopped beside Pan and smirked, "And there are no rats allowed." With that she looked away from him and walked towards her classroom.

Little Miya giggled when Evie suggested the importance of their friendship, and nodded delightedly. "Mm-hmm!" She heard the clapping behind Evie and tilted her upper body, making a small, curious noise, and smiling when she heard the sweet tone, and saw the kind, genuine smile the teacher held. She hoped she would have her!
"Okay! See you later!" She smiled and waved to Evie as she turned to leave. "N-nya!! W-wait! Two minutes!?" Miyu suddenly shouted. Evie had already gone, and the small witch quickly turned to her other new acquaintance. She was a bit more shy just being around him, but she had a very important question to pose. "U-Um, Pan?" She blushed lightly, embarrassed that she had to ask, and continued. "Do you know where Ms. McDowell's room is? I'm supposed to have her for Biology today..."

{{Tamaranth's classes were cancelled. McDowell's are still due to start in roughly two minutes, or what have you.}}
"Bleh. So I'm going to be on time after all, then. Kiala'll get it into her head that I have some disdainful respect for her authority and it'll all go to hell." he replied offhandedly to Miya question. "You don't seem the type to condone lateness, too scared. Well, I'll cure you of that, but not today." And without so much as a warning glance, he grabbed her hand and began making his way down the hall. Well, skipping, really.
Bubbling with more energy than he could plausibly contain, and hoping to see just how far Kiala would bend this year before she snapped and tried to take his head off, he half dragged the young Waerloga behind him.
"You'll like her, I think. She's about exactly what people expect from a once-upon-a-time Alpha for a teacher. No surprises to be had anywhere. You don't seem like one for surprises. You smell far too nervous for that."
And just abruptly as with anything else, Pan stopped in front of an open door, released the girl's hand and bowed deeply. "Mi Lady, your class awaits," and paused and lifted his head, though he remained stuck in the awkwardly bent position, and threw another wink. "Even if you did have to drag me in before the late bell."

She'd been at it for hours now, since roughly eleven PM the night before, and the sun had gotten to it's most annoying point, with the angle being just right to slip through her windows and blind her, reflecting off everything she owned and toyed with.
It was no accident, either. Every day for the first few weeks of term, it was like this, just exactly when classes were beginning. It was supposed to be a reminder that she had a job here, but so few Otherfolk had any interest in mechanics, machinery or technology. They all had their magics to do things for them. Probably three people int he entire school had a negative opinion about her classes being canceled, and they certainly didn't sign her checks.
Not so with the Yellow Mages, Horatio sighed to herself. There was only so much use to be had in seeing the auras of others, when you couldn't manipulate them. We were born to be integrated into the human world. Not to be siphoned off into fantasy land and separated from the only purpose we have. Of course, most of her moroseness was due to the fact that she had failed once again to achieve her goal.
She was getting closer, she knew it, but so far, the thing looked more like a pile of scrap metal than anything. It would animate if she told it to, and suddenly it's avian shape would become clear, especially when the little speaker activated and it cried out birdsong, but the damned thing wouldn't work by itself.
It had to be activated, and that was the entire problem.
Still, she had a theory to test, and there wasn't much chance she was going to get it done without some outside help. There were so few Necromancy witches in the school, though, and the only Blue Mages they had were permanently busy playing school nurse.
Thus, she had only one choice. Does she have a class today? Mmm. She doesn't update on the web server, poor thing. I guess I'll have to find out the old fashioned way.
And with that, she gathered the metal bird, settled it onto a holder that she summoned from her currently-compacted wings, hid it from sight beneath copious hair, and set out for Momo Tasartir's class, to find out if Death's Fae would sense a life lost from the unseen bird, or whether it was another failure.

((Sorry again! Thank you for your help! <33))
Miya blinked in confusion, unsure if Pan was talking to her or to himself again, and wondering who Kiala was. She blushed lightly when he began his analyzation of her, and blushed more when he took her hand a skipped along to class, causing the shy little witch to hurry behind his skipping form.
She smiled a bit, happy to hear the chances were good of her liking this teacher. Biology was an important subject for her because of what she planned to become; as an elementalist, she'd need to know about animals! And he was right, Miya wasn't much for surprises. Good ones, on occasion, she enjoyed, but things that were meant to startle her, or things that ruin plans or muck-up schedules, those she cared little for.
Miya was still blushing when Pan stopped, and, hardly paying attention, nearly ran into him when he did so, but saw his abrupt halt before it was too late. More ruby flames lapped at the poor girl's cheeks when he bowed to her and winked upward from an awkward-looking position. "U-Um! Bu-but... Sh-shouldn't you come in with me? I...." She didn't want to admit it, but she was scared to go in alone, and wanted to be with someone who knew what they were doing. "Nn, w-well... I don't want to be late... Um, but I suppose..." She half turned, "That if you wish to be, that it isn't my place to stop you..." The witch glanced down at her boot-covered feet shyly, bowed slightly to him and thanking him softly for getting her to where she needed to be, before walking into the classroom.
"U-Um..." She started quietly, just as she had when she first came up to Pan and Evie talking, and looked for the teacher among the objects in the room. "Hello?"

Anni stood outside, her little stereotypical hat and broom was tossed aside and she stood in her dress in the pouring rain. She spun, her toes making another of many indents in the mud, with her arms out stretched and her face catching every drop of rain it possibly able.
"Danny, come on, how can you not like the rain?" She asked, when she finally stopped spinning. The little black cat shivered dramatically, and slunk farther under the hat that was propped up to serve as a shelter for him. She pet the kitty with her still damp hand. "Oh you silly kitty." ~*~*~*~*~ "HEEEEYA!"
There was a loud sound of wood splintering, and Adri tossed aside the wooden sword.
"Damn... that's the third one this week..." The vampire grumbled, plopping down on the floor of his dojo/classroom.
"Well maybe if you took it easier on them, I don't think they were made for super strength, ya know." Duncan said, handing his friend another. Then looking to the practice dummy, which was reaching its end as well. Then he went back to the white Styrofoam cup that held his 'breakfast', and drank through he straw.

Momo watched the students scatter from her door, and then noticed not a single one of them headed her way. She rubbed her chin thoughtfully as the little mouse skipped by with a young witch in tow, the mere sight of them almost made her giggle. Pan had always been one of her favorites, he was cute even when he didn't mean to be, that appealed to the elf to the point she sometimes found no words to describe how utterly adorable she thought he was.
Of course, those were things she usually tried to keep to herself, else she'd find herself bearing yet another label. 'The creep', Intended in that kind of way would be way unfair. She just adored her students, nothing twisted about it.
The clock on the hall marked the hour and she found herself with an empty room for some odd reason. Then she frowned. "Wait a minute..." Her feet made no sound as she paced toward her desk and pulled up a small scroll. After examining it for a brief moment she sighed. "I don't have a class scheduled for first period..." Her voice was laced with disappointment and embarrassment. She caught a movement out of the corner of her eye and turned to stare at Selene who seemed to be enjoying herself a little too much.
"You knew didn't you? You tricky little critter, that's it, no wild sturgeon for a week." Her tone was teasing, but the cat knew anger lurked in it somewhere. She glared back at the teacher. "And no faces, or I'll take the goat milk as well."

Evie's eyebrows rose when she saw Pan and Miya walk past her. Did they have the same class as her? Ears perked at the though of having her new friends with her Evie quickly walked over to Pan, watching as Miya walked into the classroom.
Side glancing at the the mouse Evie looked at him questioningly. "Going to be late as you said, huh?" Evie then quickly looked away from him and walked into the classroom after Miya. Grinning Evie quickly walked up to the witch and looped her arm through Miya's. "You have Biology, too?"
Not waiting for Miya's answer Evie took a look around the room. The room certainly did seem biology like. "Ms. K.. McDowell!?" Evie called and then bit her tongue. She had almost called the teacher by her nickname but quickly remembered Pan's warning. Her nose wrinkled at the smell that reached her.
She didn't think that Miya could smell it, considering how Evie had cat senses, but there was certainly a different kind of odor in the room. What was it though? That was what she didn't know. But her childlike curiosity was at it's peak, and that usually meant trouble for her.
