I don't think that Zac would be the most horrible actor for Light. He's a good actor, he'd stick to the script. I'm concerned about the part of L, it is hard to be better than Kenichi Matsuyama. I can't think of anyone for that part! (Plus, if Zac plays Light, we get to see him die!)

L has to be hot. otherwise the movie won't be worth watching. but it will be hard to top Matsuyama-san's performance....... I NOMINATE CHRISTIAN BALE!!!!
Zac wouldn't be the worst, but he'd have to be a hell of an actor to keep me from imagining another HSM nightmare again. And I mean really good. I've seen Sweeney Todd more times than I can count and i still have Harry Potter flashbacks when i see it! I even add "Mr. Potter" to the end of everything Turpin says in my mind! So if he were good enough to make me forget about HSM, then yes, but since he probably can't, my answer is no.

What's wrong with Zac? I mean, he's already got the Light hair and everything. lol. I see no problem with it, I mean-he IS an actor, capable of assuming ANY role, unless he wouldn't be one.
